Gorgeous property in an excellent location. Beautiful view, even in early December. Very charming and quiet interior - large and comfortable bed, plenty of space, great shower with plenty of hot water, good heating, nice kitchen, very comfortable sofas. Wifi was fine for email and downloads, but sometimes a little unstable for streaming. Good restaurants and grocery stores in the area, and very good transit to the main areas of Dresden. Only a couple of small things to remark on: check-in and communication were rated 4 instead of 5 stars due to some problems contacting the host through the Vrbo app and text messages (but we were able to connect in the end.) The listing photos are very accurate, but 'accuracy of listing' is 4 instead of 5 stars because of missing details about the specific extra cost of sheets/towels (30 euro for 2 of us), and a 50 euro cash security deposit that was requested via email prior to checkin (however when we arrived it wasn't claimed, mostly due to the difficulty of scheduling an inspection at checkout.) Also it's good to know is that while the property is beautifully finished and a pleasure to stay in, there are almost none of the amenities one typically finds (no shampoo or shower gel, little in terms of 'basics' in the kitchen, and just the bare minimum of toilet roll.) Not a real problem - it just means an early trip to the store.
