“Pineapple Upper Deck Guest House” is a beautiful 1 Bedroom/1 Bath full apartment(Entire Guesthouse/Cottage), located in one of the most desirable historic neighborhoods in West Palm Beach.
It is within walking distance to parks, restaurants, downtown and a short ride to many beaches, shopping and the island of Palm Beach.
With its tasteful and cozy décor, ample spaces and a gorgeous deck w/patio furniture & BBQ grill, will definitely help make your stay in sunny Florida a one of kind!
Specs:
The apartment is about 850 square feet(plus a large deck). It has its own separate gated entrance from the street, and it has been recently and tastefully renovated. It's fully furnished, has all the kitchen appliances & utensils that you may need (mid size fridge/freezer, gas stove, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and all pots, dishes, glassware, silverware, etc.), washer/dryer, 2 smart Tv's and wireless internet available. The queen size bedroom has a brand-new comfy mattress and a large walk-in closet with hangers/hamper and luggage rack. The renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sliding barn-like door. It has a large storage closet in the hallway, a very bright handcrafted breakfast nook, and a cozy and ample living room with a cute kid’s corner :) It has all the items you may need for your stay, from linens/towels, toiletries, dish/laundry detergent, to beach towels/chairs/cooler/body boards, and more!), and a gorgeous elevated deck with patio furniture and BBQ grill.

Free Parking ON the street. Covered parking spot available upon request, for an additional fee.

Super centrally located. You can easily walk, bike or ride to most local attractions from the Pineapple upper deck guest house!

Nearest grocery with pharmacy, liquor, beer/wine, deli: PUBLIX on Palm beach island. (2.4 miles away).

Transportation/Airports: Palm Beach Int. Airport (PBI) is 6 miles away, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Int. Airport is 46 miles away and Miami Int. Airport is 74.5 miles away . You may take the TRI-RAIL train to these last two airports. The station is only 1.7 miles away (7 mins ride).

Parks: There are various parks north and south of us, all on Flagler Ave, along the intercoastal. Currie Park is the closest, within 3 blocks south east. Tennis courts, playground, boat ramps and pier access for those wanting to get out on the intracoastal waterway.

Museums: Palm Beach County History Museum(Downtown), Flagler Museum(Palm beach island) and Norton Museum of Art (Downtown).

Dining: Walking distance recommendations in Northwood Village(4 blocks south): For breakfast, This Is It Cafe, Northwood Canteen & Harold Cafe. For lunch, Malakor Thai Café and Allora. For dinner: Cafe Centro (Live music on the weekends), Mestizo Peruvian Cuisine, French Grill House & Agora Mediterranean Kitchen (Belly dancer on Friday nights). Shopping: There are several unique stores in Northwood Village, meanwhile a larger selection of shopping is in downtown West Palm Beach and Rosemary Square (former Cityplace), In addition, upscale shopping at- its best, is in Worth Avenue, on the- island of Palm Beach, just across the bridge 3.8 miles south east, including high end restaurants, boutiques and galleries, to name a few. The Palm Beach Outlets (3.3 miles) are also a great and ample outdoor shopping venue with a wide variety of national stores.

Beaches: You can bike or take a short ride to the island of Palm Beach (across the bridge- about 2.5 miles) , or you can take a quick 7 minutes ride to the Riviera beach marina and jump on a water taxi ride or rent a kayak/paddleboard that will take you to the beautiful Peanut island...There is also the famous Singer island, just 4.5 miles north east, stunning beach, and a variety of restaurants and shops.

The region is also well known for its sporting facilities, multiple golf courses (including famous The Breakers, PGA National & Trump International golf clubs), tennis and fitness clubs, as well as Luxury spas like Sispa at the Singer Island Marriott, Eau Spa Palm Beach and Anushka in Rosmery Village(former Cityplace).

What a cozy place and neighborhood. Outskirts of neighborhood are not so nice.

I’d totally stay there again. It was close to the Amtrak and car rental place.

Short and Sweet Getaway

Overall very pleased with this destination! We enjoyed the patio and quaint accommodations. Place was clean, and the host is very responsive. As a native Floridian, who visits once a year, this is a good location and would book again.

Clean, comfortable and ideal location!

Karen’s VRBO was just as described! Property was very clean, bed was comfortable, and shower was amazing! Our need to rent was last minute and I’m so glad this spot was available. Location was ideal — close to airport, restaurants/nightlife and beaches. Would definitely rent again!

Great location and cozy retreat.

First, the location would be hard to beat. Secondly, you could really tell the owner put in a lot of work to make this home as comfortable as possible and it worked. Good beds, comfortable couch, and just a nice cozy feel to the place. Would highly recommend and would come back again if traveling through the area.

Perfect last minute getaway!

We had a last minute change of plans and booked a long weekend trip to WPB and I am so happy this place was available! Karen was a lovely host, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay and goes the extra mile to provide you with all the beach needs you’ll need. Not to mention the location was perfect and a quick drive to everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

A pleasant stay at Pineapple

The apartment was attractive and comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed for our 12-day stay. It is in a quiet, very pleasant residential area just a few minutes by car from downtown West Palm Beach. Email queries to the host were replied to quickly and helpfully. We would happily stay there again.

Great spot in West Palm Beach

What a perfect place in West Palm Beach for our family! Karen was responsive and thoughtful in all the details. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay and even provided beach toys for the kids. The best unit in all of Northwoods!!

I’ve stayed in a few others and never filled out this comment section for obvious reasons. Great all around. Karen our host was wonderful. Beautifully decorated and it was stocked with everything you could ever want or need. Will stay here again on my next visit for sure.

Just perfect

My husband and I needed a place close to wherehis class reunion was going to be and the Pineapple Uppper Deck was perfect as far as comfort, and security. Very clean and quiet. The deck was nice to sit on anytime of the day or night. Our host, Karen answered any questions promptly through messages. Will definitely be going back.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Historic neighborhood close to beaches and only 20 minutes from spring training baseball. What more could we ask for? The pantry items the owner had available in the kitchen and fridge really went above and beyond our expectations. We hope to be back for spring baseball next year.

Outstanding!

This place is a gem in the historic neighborhood of Northwood. The home is clean, cute and well appointed. The host, Karen couldn't have been more helpful, attentive and prompt with anything we needed. The deck is a great spot for morning coffee and evening happy hour with its south facing setting. The location is great, close to so many attractions in the area. We will be back for sure. Thanks, Karen!!!

My wife and I spent a week at the Pineapple Upper Deck which was very clean and well appointed. Exceptionally well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Communication with the host was excellent with all questions answered very promptly. While the immediate location seems very safe, we were advised by locals on one of our walks, not to be walking in the vicinity northwest of this location which is a bit sketchy. Would certainly stay again were we to visit the area.

Act of kindness

Karen is absolutely amazing. Our trip was planned around spending some quiet time. When we arrived my dad fell ill; we simply called Karen to ask a question about her beautiful property, when we shared about my dad she so very helpful and supportive, even helping us with new accommodation for our unexpected extended stay since hers was already booked. Upper Deck is beautiful, inviting and in an amazing location, close to restaurant and other attractions. We highly recommend considering Upper Deck for your next getaway.

Relaxing getaway

The check in and out process was easy. The location of the place was perfect for us. We liked to be about 10 minutes from west palm with all the restaurants and shopping but staying somewhere more quiet and relaxing in the neighborhoods. We went to the area where there are restaurants close to where we stayed and loved it. We wished we would have went to more places there. It was a nice quiet area with local places. The place was close to so many beaches we tried to go to different ones each day. We preferred more secluded beaches which were not too far away. The place itself was cute. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a few meals there and we liked that there was a patio and grill. It was great they had coolers and chairs for the beach as well. We said this was such a great central spot to downtown, beaches, and kayaking. We will definitely return.

We live in the main house of the property just 40ft away from the apartment/guesthouse/cottage (which is above our garage/man cave-where we store the bikes you are welcome to use!-)so I am available most of the time.
