Perfect vacation house

The house is clean and spacious, nicely laid out, very pleasant, which was good for us as due to poor weather we spent a lot of time in the house. The third floor bedroom suite is an extra nice feature. Fully appointed kitchen. Location is perfect. Short walk to groceries, cafes, restaurants, shops. Steps to tram station and book-n-drive for longer trips. Host is responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Tolle Unterkunft, gut erreichbar

Eine Woche im großen Haus, gemütlich eingerichtet, prima ausgestattet. Hervorragend mit der Straßenbahn zu erreichen.

Great spot and house - but don’t expect much other than

Sick house. Great spot. The manager guy is cool. Responsive. Plenty of bathroom and bedrooms. Fans to keep the house cool. Place has two parking spots. I would stay here again. Upstairs has a balcony they advertise. Literally covered in pigeon poop from on side to another. You cannot use it. Birds flying everyone. Tv is tiny. For the size of the house and cost of the house, it’s tiny. They have a big wall to mount a 75” (today’s standards) and they don’t do it. They blame it on prior customers, they cannot have “nice things”. Also, the tv would have to be fully unplugged every 3 days to fix the audio. On our final week the apps stopped working (Netflix / Amazon), the manager made zero effort to come fix it. Said he would call the internet company. After 3 days no apps (for the kids to watch something they liked before bed) I fixed it after an hour of troubleshooting. I fixed it. Again, I fixed it after begging the manager to come help. Nothing. Fridge. Was told not to use one small freezer in the fridge. It was broken. Fridge had secondary freezer, size of a shoebox. I tell them we can’t keep food here, nothing fits. We book house 7 weeks. We need to have some stuff frozen. They respond “this is a holiday house, you don’t need a freezer. Deal With it”. This got me mad but not enough to do anything. I would save my thoughts for this review. A few days later a stand alone freezer arrived. Which we were grateful f

Excellent Location

Street car stop is just a short distance from the front door. Communication and support from manager was first rate. House size was perfect for family of 4 would be great easy up to 6 or two small families. The only caution is for older adults or very young kids: stairs are required to get to sleeping areas. They look very nice and are stable but also slippery and if you walk on the short edge of the steps be cautious. Other than the stairs the home was an excellent place to stay and I would rent again.

Great local stay in Mainz/Bretzenheim

Property is as advertised, lots of rooms, beds, amenities, etc. 150 meters to Tram that takes you right to Mainz Train station in 15 minutes and from there you can go anywhere in the greater Frankfurt area (Baden-Baden Black Forest, Strasbourg, Heidelburg, Wiesbaden, Nuremburg, airport, etc). Plenty of nice local neighborhood Bretzenheim restaurants and a bakery along with walking trails. Mainz downtown itself has nice restaurants and a great shopping district. Recommend St Martins Cathedral as a must tour. Juergen and Linda were great hosts and responded quickly to any inquiries.

Haus war spitze / Wären am liebsten da geblieben

Super Unterkunft für 6 Wochen. Übergabe klappte problemlos. Einfach klasse was alles für uns gemacht wurde. Das Trampolin war das Highlight für die 2 Mädels. Können uns nur ganz herzlich für alles bedanken. Am liebstens wären wir gleich dageblieben.

Sauber, schön eingerichtet, gute Lage!

Die Wohnungsübergabe durch Herrn Merk war sehr schnell und unproblematisch. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet für 8 Personen. Die Uni liegt 3min mit dem Auto entfernt und Einkaufsläden sind gut erreichbar. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

La maison a une belle superficie et un beau potentielle mais malheuseusement la cuisine etait vraiment très sale. Dessous de la table avec de la nourriture séchée, abat jour au dessus plein d'eclaboussures de soda séché.... Il y a très peu de vaisselles, seulement 3 sauteuses dont le revêtement est abime et qui par conséquent colle et qui étaient sale à notre arrivée... Pas de torchons, eponge, etc malgré le linge de maison fourni. En conclusion, Cette maison est très jolie, bien décorée, spatieuse mais manque de nettoyage. Il manque beaucoup de choses pour justifier une location à ce prix avec un montant de frais de menage aussi elevé.
