This newly upgraded modern mountain home with AMAZING amenities is your perfect Yosemite getaway!

Sugar Pine Chalet is conveniently located 5 minutes from Bass Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Oakhurst and 20 minutes from Yosemite's South Gate - allowing you to enter and explore different parts of the Yosemite Valley, in one trip.

Enjoy a furnished living room with pull out sofa bed, 3 bedrooms/2 baths. Perfect for a couples retreat or a family vacation.

We welcome you to bring your furry little friends. An additional $100 pet cleaning fee will be applied.

Whether you’re looking to hike Lewis Creek, explore Yosemite Valley, soak up the sun at Bass Lake or ski the fresh powder at Badger Pass, you’ll be in the best location to see and do it all. You’ll enjoy outdoor amenities, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and a comfortable home with all the kitchen supplies needed to make a great dinner or bbq on the grill. You’ll have everything you need to relax and enjoy the mountains. There’s high speed internet for you to be able to work from home and enjoy watching movies. outside seating and more. Entertain your family/friends while you’re at this home away from home. If planning on visiting Yosemite National Park; Reservation required to drive into or through the park on some dates.

Comfortable, cozy, well stocked. The patio and deck area areas were were great! There was lots of seating out there, the hot tub was really nice and clean, and the gas grill was great!

Lovely home. Hot tub was great. Kitchen served all my needs. Home cooled quickly. Perfect place to stay and rest after spending all day at Yosemite and the Community Park for a family reunion.

Our stay was wonderful. Lots of room. Outside BBQ and hot tub were an added bonus. Quiet neighborhood. Short distance to so many things to do. Yosemite, Bass Lake, Snow, and the casino.

Relaxing stay!

Very convenient location (20 mins to South Entrance of Yosemite, 10 mins to Bass Lake, 10 mins to downtown Oakhurst)! The property had everything we needed for our stay including cooking materials and extra towels. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day and watching Netflix on the TV in the living room!

Would stay here again.

Great property and a perfect size for a family. Mariam was very responsive and the instructions and renovations were great. Plenty of towels and supplies to just run to the grocery store to grab what you need. I'd definitely come back to stay here again.

Great place to stay!

Overall this was an amazing property to stay at. Everything was very open, clean and bright. The hot tub was amazing got very hot which was perfect the fire pit and gas grill we’re both great added additions that made our trip more enjoyable. Location was perfect for us close to town but still far enough away to have scenic surroundings. Linens were clean beds were comfortable you can tell the owner takes pride in their property would definitely rent again and recommend!

Short Yosemite Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Sugar Pine Chalet! Mariam was very responsive and helpful with our stay. This was our first getaway since the start of the pandemic, and the cleanliness of the home made us feel more at ease. Loved the outdoor space, complimentary wine and s’mores, and well-equipped kitchen. Thanks to Mariam for a great family getaway!

Great location

Me and my partnered were in town for a work trip and wanted to see Yosemite so we picked this place and it was only 20 minutes from the Yosemite gate entrance. Not only was it close to the entrance but the house was perfect!! It was clean and looked just like the pictures. The hot tub and the fire pit were a bonus along with the bottle of win and s’mores kit! I would recommend this house to anyone and would love to come back.

Outstanding and Comfortable

Really enjoyed this vacation rental. Reminded us of the customer service vacation rentals use to have with great communication from the owner, a welcome package of wine, smores and other goodies. House was very clean, beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of daily necessities in the kitchen, bathrooms, and patio. No complaints....great rental and great job by Mariam overall. Kitchen was decked out with everything, bathrooms were clean, hot tub worked perfectly, water was great. If I could give 6 stars for communication with property manager, I would. She answered very promptly to all my messages. I also initially had the wrong dates, and she was very quick and understanding in correcting those dates.

Comfortable and clean

The property was very comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedrooms were a bit on the hot side. Not sure if there was air conditioning there or not. It didn't feel like much air was coming out of the vents even though they were open. The ceiling fans helped and it was bearable to sleep once the temperature cooled down at night. Overall, we would stay again if ever in the area.

Convenient, clean, and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Pine Chalet. Communication with owner was smooth and the place was even nicer than we expected. Everything was easy to get to- grocery store, Yosemite Valley, etc. We were there in the winter so we didn’t make much use of the outdoor spaces but the wood burning stove was really great to have - just buy your own firewood. One thing to note is that there is no large dining table so we had to make do with a small kitchen table for meals. One morning the power to the whole neighborhood went out, and we had no cell signal or wifi, so I would plan to download important information in advance of your trip.

Nice house in good location

Loved the house! It was perfect for our party of 5 and it was close enough to enjoy bass lake one day and Yosemite the next. I would recommend the house for sure as the host is very responsive and kind. The only thing to consider is the upstairs rooms don’t have AC which is important to know during California summers and in heat waves.

Yosemite Visit

The house was very clean and comfortable. It is very well supplied. The laundry was very helpful. The decks were great and the hot tub was very nice! I recommend this rental to all. We spent 3 days in Yosemite and hiked 35 miles all told!

The property is located only minutes away from Bass Lake, less than 15 miles from Yosemite, minutes from Sierra National Forrest, Sugar Pine Railroad and Sierra Sky Ranch. We are located close enough to the town of Oakhurst yet far enough to enjoy serenity!
