'Neston' is on 2 acres of property, located in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood.

Enjoy the Beautiful Views of Harrington Sound one of the most Beautiful inlets in Bermuda.

Harrington Sound is a wonderful inland lake in Bermuda surrounded mainly by Hamilton parish and Smiths parish. There is a small narrow inlet that connects this lake to Atlantic ocean, known as the Flatts inlet.

The water in this lake mostly flows in through the underwater caves and subterranean passages. The sound has been named after Lucy Harrington, a lady from the Elizabethan days who did a lot for the Parish.

Harrington sound has many small islands in it like the Trunk island and Rabbit Island. Some of them are inhabited through out the year.

The water area is excellent for activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing etc. Although there are many types of fish that you can find here, over the years the population of shell fish like the scallops have been steadily decreasing.

The Large Studio makes you feel at home, away from home. The Kitchenette features refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots pan and utensils. Daily cleaning and linen service can be available at a price.

There is an ample supply of towels for both the beach, pool and bath.

A King-size bed accommodates two. Internet service is provided FREE so that you can stay in touch with others, or your office. Flat Screen Television and Telephone.


'Neston' is in walking distance to the Beach, or catching the Bus. It is about 5 min away from two of Bermudas' BEST attractions, the Aquarium and Zoo and the Crystal Cave.

If you desire a mixture of relaxation and quietness than 'Neston' is for you.

A beautiful stay

The property was clean and very adequate for our time there .Wayne is a lovely host who wholeheartedly shares recommendations, island information and history. We used the shorelink app to ride the buses and ferries, and, the ride app to get a taxi back to the airport. It is about a half mile walk to the bus or market but we enjoyed that. The ambiance was just perfect and I would stay here again.

Best view in Bermuda

My husband and I enjoyed a 4 night stay at this gorgeous property. We were there for a family members wedding and the location was perfect for where the events of the wedding were. My absolute favorite part of this home was the views of Harrington Sound! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was emaculately maintained. The host Wayne is very friendly, attentive and he did above and beyond to help us out when we tried to get taxis. Bermuda can be a pricey island to visit but this home is fairly priced. My family members who paid a lot more money to stay at a high end resort were jealous of the where we stayed. The view alone is literally a million dollar view. I would come back to this property in a heartbeat.

Idyllic peaceful retreat in beautiful waterside homea

5 nights in this glorious spot and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The owner’s family had a great party to celebrate Good Friday and generously invited to join them for a Bermudian barbecue and a chance to meet some locals too! A fantastic day.We loved using the pool and loungers, and took a kayak across to the little island beach facing us. Decent supermarket and bus routes within 10 minutes walk. We had a brilliant time.

Beautiful water view. Long way to walk anywhere. Plan on taking taxis which are expensive, and most only accept cash.

Vacation at Brown Estates - Bermuda

We had a great time. Our apartment was the perfect getaway and we wish we could have stayed longer. The view from the bedroom and porch was awesome. Very peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to grocery store and railroad hiking trails! Wayne Furbert took us into Hamilton upon arrival and showed us around, that was so nice! We were very impressed. We took his Kayaks to a little island with a beach. We like to come back soon.

Beautiful property with great views and relaxing vibe

Wayne, the property owner, was very helpful during the entire process from beginning to end. He greeted us when we arrived. He offered some suggestions for dining and was very accommodating with any questions we may have had. Great location! It was our favorite part of the island. The property is gorgeous. Views spectacular! If you don’t rent a moped or a small electric vehicle (our choice) it’s just a short 5 minute or so walk to the bus stop.

We had a great time. Cute little efficiency unit with all necessities close at hand. Pizza shop, grocery and convenience store in walking distance. Great Vacation

Wayne's property was the perfect place for our 10 day get away. It was quiet; beautiful view and neighborhood, close to market and bus (which easily allowed us to see the whole island) and a friendly knowledgeable and engaging host. We hope we can stay there again someday. Thanks Wayne!

Always a Nice Visit to Brown Estates

Third visit to the property. Very nice time, location to Shelley Bay, Swizzle, Rail Trail, Harrington Sound, a supermarket, Post Office (for bus passes) and bus stop. Pool is very nice too! Nice people and always a nice stay! Thanks!

Great place to stay!!

Just to say, it’s not my first time here. There’s a pool to enjoy and lounging chairs by the water. The market place, bus stop and laundry mat is a 10 minute walk from the premises...Mr. Furbert makes sure your stay is a rememberal one and for the price, it’s just right... we will be back again...

Absolutely best possible vacation experience!

We had a lovely stay!

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this location. It is private and peaceful, and as you can see, the views are spectacular. We enjoyed these vistas each morning as we sipped our morning coffee and evenings over dinner as the setting sun morphed the horizon into a kaleidoscope of colors. The host is onsite, friendly, welcoming, and rich in island information. The only thing that might concern some is that if you plan to use the excellent bus and ferry system (a great value that can get you everywhere), the property is about a half-mile walk to the nearest bus stop.

My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and booked our 7day stay at this property. We loved our stay at this location. Wonderful property in a nice quiet area convenient to food market and bus stops. Wayne was a wonderful host, very friendly, accommodating and made our stay delightful. We loved everything about the property. Accommodations were perfect. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The breathtaking views of the Harrington sound were lovely. Overall, the apartment provided a serene and romantic haven with unbelievable views and convenient amenities. I definitely gave a 5 star review not only for the location and property but also for Wayne being a lovely host. Can't wait to go back to Bermuda.

Excellent Stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The bed was nice and comfortable! The access to a fridge and kitchen was great. Although we didn’t cook. Lol! The view was excellent! We didn’t get to utilize the pool but it looked inviting. I would only suggest a full mirror for guest to make sure their attire is in line. This is especially important for the woman. The air condition unit and access to Wi-Fi and TV was nice!

On our 4th trip to Bermuda, we wanted something a little different which was to stay on the east end of the island (our favorite) so we booked a VRBO and it was our favorite trip so far. We prefer and enjoy a closest to local experience we can get and that’s what we got this time. The apartment attached to a family home in a cute neighborhood. We were greeted warmly by the family and the apartment was sparkling clean with a big comfy bed. Outside, the pool was well maintained and there are incredible views (that we could see from the big comfy bed!) Harrington Sound is a beautiful salt water lake in the middle of Bermuda and perfect for everything water related. We went kayaking a few times and loved every second. It was perfect and we can’t wait to go back.

LESS THAN WE HOPED FOR

We read the reviews of this site and were expecting a place with terrific amenities, a great location on the island and friendly help from the owner and his family (when needed). Unfortunately, with the exception of the friendliness of the owner's family, this site was lacking in a number of areas. POSITIVES: -There's a gas station and market at the end of the street which is about a 2 minute ride by scooter. -The location has a beautiful view of Harrison Sound with a pool and access to Harrison Sound. It is close to Shelly Bay which we enjoy for swimming/ snorkeling and is close to the Aquarium and Flatts Village. -The owner's family were friendly/helpful in answering our questions about the site and the amenities. - Charcoal grill - Their two pups BB and CC made us smile daily. THE LESS THAN POSITIVES: - Upon our arrival there was a notable smell of cigar smoke in the room and the patio. - On day two, we found the coffee pot was not cleaned and filled with moldy coffee grounds. -Tiny bathroom with no shelves -The few pans in the kitchen were unusably scorched with food/pitted- We ended up buying a new skillet and two sharp knives and left them for future guests. -No battery in smoke detector. -The ceiling fan caked with dirt. -On third day, yard furniture was stored away for possible storm but not put out again when storm didn't come, furniture left next to house. -The cleaning of the pool became less regular the longer we were there. There was a significant amount of algae that increased as the days passed. -The access to Harrison Sound is fairly treacherous. Very steep, narrow cement stairs with no handholds, cement landing was not in particularly good condition and the stairs into the water were in worse condition. Trash and debris covering kayak. -Laundry room was a mess. The dryer vented directly into the room, the washer required reaching into the motor box to push the start button. Dryer requires unplugging to reset with each use and several repetitive steps to bypass service codes that prevent it from working. -Room had an iron but no board. -When stripping the bed upon departure, we found some disturbing stains on the mattress cover. -Screens in disrepair,the building could use paint. -Would have been helpful to know there's no phone in the rental for local calls. I am sad to say this property is not maintained as it should be and feel if the property owner found these issues when he traveled he would find them unacceptable.

The property is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Bermuda on just under 2 acres. We have had great reviews over the years. The last review was 2011 because someone loved the house so much, that they rented the whole property from April 2011 - March 2013.

Many mornings you can wake up and look at the Ocean - Harrington Sound, which is an inlet in Bermuda, the water is very calm, like glass and crystal clear. You can exercise and walk around the property. It is very peaceful and quiet. You can swim in the pool or off our dock in the ocean.
