The condition of this home left a lot to be desired. Beside the fact that it is extremely outdated, it is also very poorly maintained and quite dirty. Our daughter lives within Palmetto Dunes and we visit quite frequently and have stayed at many properties within the development and have never had a negative experience before this. This property certainly did not meet the standards one would expect for the area or from a Vrbo rental.The general appearance of the home is poor. There were obvious signs of leaks that had been repaired and the ceilings never repainted, the carpets were stained and dining room chairs and stools had stains and old caked debris in them. There are also stains around the ceiling fixtures that looked like either fire damage or mold. It was hard to tell. My husband and I both have breathing issues and when we saw the condition of the HVAC vents we became quite concerned. The rental company that manages the unit quickly addressed the problem, sending out maintenance to clean the vents and change the filters. But knowing what was visible we were still concerned about what we couldn't see. When we later realized that the sun room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, they again sent someone to wipe down the furniture so that we were able to use it.I would suggest that you remove this unit from your rentals until the owner does a DEEP clean and makes some drastic changes/improvements. It is hurting your reputation.

Excellent location

Condo is in the back of beautiful Palmetto Dunes. It is a one minute walk (across the parking lot) from the large pool and hot tub. The beach is a five minute walk (through one complex and across beach walkway). There were plenty of kitchen supplies for our stay. Check-in was extremely easy. Property manager communication was excellent. There is a covered front porch to allow beach equipment to dry. The beds were comfortable. Condo does need some updating: bent and broken mini-blinds, carpet stains including a large one in kids' bedroom, finish on bathroom fixtures coming off. The condo provided a lot of space for our family in a beautiful, convenient location.
