Looking to escape from reality, then look no further. Welcome to our mountain home, affectionately known as the Blue Sky Lodge. Beautiful, charming, and quiet, our spacious private multi-level mountain home is tucked in the picturesque aspens of Granby Ranch. With breath-taking views from every room, this home is light, inviting and comfortable for families or groups.
The main floor has an open floor plan allowing for natural light to shine through from any room. You’ll find vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors with radiant heat, main floor master suite that opens to a covered deck, a spacious family room with a gas fireplace, big screen 65” TV plus DVD player, a dining table plus island seating. The well-equipped, gourmet kitchen comes with everything you'll need for creating meals to remember while on the trip of a lifetime.


The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms plus a spacious loft
• Bedroom – Queen
• Bedroom – 1 twin plus a trundle
• Loft – Features a couch and an office area with a desk. Great space for the kids to play or sit back and enjoy a good book.

Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall, this area has it all. Chill while watching movies on the main floor flat screen TV, play one of the many available games or sit on the upstairs loft and take in the panoramic mountain views while relaxing . Great space for the kids to play. Or if you are looking for adventure, this area offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, white water rafting and golf during the summer months, plus skiing, snowmobiling, snow biking, and snowshoeing in winter, as well as year-round dining.

Where do I go for all these fun activities?

Travel into the town of Granby, only 4 miles away, for shopping, dining, and all-ages entertainment. Right around the corner is local Granby Ranch, which brings laid-back vibes of a Midwestern resort to the Rocky Mountains (www.granbyranch.com.) Drive a short 30 minutes to the ever-popular Winter Park Resort for endless year-round adventures and an unparalleled and unfiltered Colorado experience (www.winterparkresort.com.) Beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park has access points within 15 miles of this rental and offers over 300 miles of hiking trails, wildflowers, wildlife, starry nights, and fun times. Boating or water sports are available at Lake Granby, Grand Lake and Columbine Lake.
We are native Coloradoan’s / local Denverites and spend quite a bit of time in the area. We are long time mountain homeowners and know how to treat our guests. If you need suggestions on what to do, let us know. Just ask and we will help you find the perfect activity for your visit.
A Ring Camera and door bell is installed to monitor outdoor activity as well as a security camera on the garage and back deck.

The swimming pool/fitness center is in Ranch Hall (at the base of the mountain).
The cost for the pool/fitness center is $10/day/person ages 8 and up. It is open Monday-Wednesday 8am-4:45pm. Thursday-Sunday, 7am - 8:45pm.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot recommend this home highly enough. From the very beginning, Barb and Don’s communication was exceptional clear, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. Every detail was well organized, which made our arrival and stay completely stress-free and allowed us to focus on enjoying our ski trip and time together as a family.The home itself truly felt like a home away from home. It was spotless, well maintained, and beautifully cared for, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were simply incredible waking up and winding down with that scenery alone made the trip special.Beyond the home, the location is a huge bonus. Shopping and essentials are just 5–6 minutes away, which made things very convenient. The nearby community center with a heated pool and fitness center was an unexpected perk and a great way to relax after time on the slopes.If that weren’t enough, the overall atmosphere of the area made the stay feel both peaceful and connected—perfect for a family getaway that still feels cozy and familiar.There’s no doubt we will be back. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property to any family looking for a memorable ski trip or a comfortable, welcoming escape that truly makes you feel at home.

The house is very well maintained. The bed in the master was comfortable. The cookware is in excellent condition. The windows are large with nice views. There is construction next door, with a new house being built, but we were gone most of every day so it didn't affect our stay at all. I would recommend this house for couples and families. The host is very responsive to any questions. We also stayed here a few years ago and we would definitely return.

Beautiful, clean, updated, functional, beautiful views, great location. Stayed there for a wedding - and we visited several other properties there others were staying at and this was one of the nicest. Only thing missing was an ironing board but we worked around that.

Loved the house layout, location, comfy beds! Wedding ceremony was in Grand Lake, reception in Winter Park….so very handy location: Hosts were great in communicating and helpful in returning a left item.

Fabulous Ski Weekend

If you're planning to ski at Ski Granby Ranch, this is the place to stay! Plenty of room and an easy 5 minute drive to the mountain. Great house!

Very clean , close to town of Granby & grocery stores. We cooked all of our meals at the house and there were plenty of dishes/pots/pans etc to accommodate our larger group. The host was easy to communicate with and quick to reply. 10/10 recommend this property.

What an amazing stay! The property is beautiful and clean. The six of us had plenty of space to spread out without being on top of each other. The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you will need to cook dinners. The surrounding area/ views were spectacular. Thank you!

Perfect house for our vacation!

Just a few minutes away from Grandby Ranch. Everything was nice (the views, shower, beds, kitchen, grill, garage, cell service, television). Would love to stay there again. Very clean also.

Relaxing Cabin

The property is first class. Very nice, and very clean. The owner was easy to work with and we had no issues. It is a nice relaxing cabin near the Granby Ski area. My wife enjoyed her birthday celebration and we will keep it on the list for future visits.

Everything we could possibly need

This may be the best VRBO we’ve rented yet. Everything about this place was top notch - gorgeous views, super clean, high quality furnishings, everything you could possibly need for a fun stay in Granby Ranch. We were there with our kiddos for some skiing, and we’ll be back for the summer fun too!

Beautiful Mountain View

This house was simply perfect. Has plenty of space inside and outside. The views were amazing and the neighbors aren’t to close, that’s always something my family looks for. I was quite surprised that not only was the house very well stocked with kitchen utensils and cookware but the pantry was also stocked with a variety of seasonings. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to this area.

They made renting this property very easy! Beautiful house. My only complaint were the pillows and the twin bed and pull out weren’t very comfortable. Otherwise we really enjoyed it. Thank you!!

Perfect Rocky Mountain House

Four of us stayed a week in this home. We all loved it. The house was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked with nice pots and pans (not all scratched up!), dishes and flatware. There was plenty of space. The front porch was perfect for early morning coffee. Just about every window had a nice view of the mountains or aspens. The master shower was fantastic. There were many thoughtful touches in the house, like moisturizer at every sink, and night lights in the bathrooms and the kitchen. Barbara and Don were very quick to respond to questions, and were very helpful with local information (like Oktoberfest!). There was construction in the neighborhood, but there was never any noise inside the house. And the house next door was completed while we were there. We highly recommend this home and will stay here again when we are traveling with a group.

A lovely and well appointed house

A lovely and well appointed house. My cousins and I stayed here while in Granby for a family wedding. The house was immaculate, well appointed, nicely located, and met all of our needs. In addition to comfortable bedrooms, the house is filled with boardgames and an assortment of books.
