Enjoy the view of Big Wolf Lake from our vintage basement apartment. Part of a seven lake chain, this all sports lake features good fishing, kayaking, or boating. Bring your own boat to tie up at our private dock , or rentals are available at a local marina. Kayaks, paddle boards, and a paddle boat are available to use during your stay. Ten wooded acres provide wildlife viewing opportunities or quiet walks through the woods.

This was the perfect spot forrelaxing lake time. The hosts were friendly, accessible, and helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch for breakfast, boating in the afternoons, and relaxing with games in the evenings. One night we also enjoyed exploring a nearby nature trail.

Great stay in the cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. We brought our boat and had room at the pier to tie it up. We explored the 7 lakes. We had the old cottage, but it was nice and clean. It had everything we needed. Tim was great. He has kayaks, paddleboard, life jackets, burn pits. We really had a great time. Thank you

Sleepless Nights

Tim was a wonderful host and available if needed. However, the shower was less than ideal as it is dark and the water shoots at the wall and can not be adjusted. The bed in the "master" bedroom was very uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. I ended up having to try to sleep in the bunk bed and not with my husband. I was using the cabin as a place to rest in between doing a residency program at Spring Arbor university and I definitely did not get much rest. We even left a day before our paid stay was up so that we could get home to a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, this will not be a place that I would rent again.

Great stay

Tim was a great host. He never stopped working. The place had everything from nice lawn chairs to wood and starter wood for the fire pit. The location is right on the water for those that have their own boat. Tim and his wife Nadine met us there when we arrived and showed us around and then Tim even had us followed him to the boat launch so we could launch our boat, which he didn't have to do. Thanks Tim
