Amazing stay

We had a great stay at Deena and Charlie's place. Such friendly hosts with great communication, easy check in and check out, and everything we needed or wanted. They have a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, pool nooddles. The kids especially loved the porch cat Kevin. Would highly recommend this vrbo!!

Absolutely Darling

Great location for chilling on the beach, walking to a restaurant, driving to Charlotte. Deena and Charlie were very responsive and knowledgeable, had everything we needed plus some extra!!

Everything we hoped for in St Thomas!

We loved our stay at Deena's property. The home was clean, comfortable, and in a great location! It is even more charming than in the photos. We loved the proximity to Lime Tree Beach Resort, got around easily with our rental car, and didn't have any issues at all. We would definitely stay here again!

Frenchman's Bay Hideaway

This charming two-bedroom, one-bath bungalow has a full kitchen and a small living room with a TV, in addition to an outdoor seating area on the deck, shared by an adjacent studio rental and the back of the hosts' house. It was the perfect accommodation for our long weekend getaway, and I would highly recommend it to those who prefer self-service and privacy to a full-service resort. The hosts seem to have thought of everything to ensure their guests' comfort, providing many amenities, from complimentary welcome snacks and detailed information on restaurants and attractions, to coffee and snorkeling equipment. I cannot imagine staying here without a car, but beware of the island's steep, narrow, and not always lately repaired roads, including even the driveway to the property. Just a few steps (maybe five minutes) away is the Limetree Beach Resort, offering beach access, a pricy market for necessities such as coffee, sunscreen, wine and cheese, and breakfast sandwiches, and the Lanai Bar & Grill, for good drinks and a pub-style menu, all open to the public. We were grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here and would happily return.

Nice Folks, nice place

The hosts are very kind and accommodating. The driveway is very steep (which made it very rough for this old gal). The home is quiet, very clean, nicely decorated and somewhat secluded.

Great stay on St Thomas

We had a great time staying in this property! The house was clean and comfortable in a nice location. It's located about a 6-8 minute walk from the beach and a short drive to Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook.

Perfect place to stay in St. Thomas

Great stay. Deena was an absolute 5 star host. From making sure we got there to making sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond and was very responsive, friendly, and helpful in every aspect. This place was perfect for our needs. The location was great. Very close to lime tree resort and beach. Highly recommend. The only downside I would say is that the walls are very thin. The people staying next to us were talking at a very normal volume and you could hear them so clearly it literally sounded as if they were standing in our room. Which of course means that they can also hear you just the same. Not faulting anyone as there isn’t much that can be done about it, but just something to be aware of (especially if your neighbors are early risers and you aren’t). Other than that, we have zero complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And with hosts like Deena and Charlie, you will too.

Amazing Location!

This property was amazing and the hosts were very accommodating ! Great location, well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bed was super comfortable. The unit was Very Clean! Walking distance to the Limetree area and just a short drive back into town.

Authentic Saint Thomas

In our opinion, this conveniently located VRBO deserves consideration. Foremost, it was immaculate. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the general living environment. The ceiling fans were sufficient to provide a cooling effect; the bedroom air conditioning units were an extra bonus and provided the necessary back up on the hotter days. The kitchen was well equipped with all the important vacation amenities, while the patio was perfect for admiring the gardens or reading while enjoying early morning coffee and listening to the birds. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay on St. Thomas, but...

Inside the unit, everything is pristine. This is one of the cleanest VRBO's we have stayed in. Deena was excellent and responsive to all of our needs. Beautifully furnished and decorated and the beds are comfortable. The tap water is from a cistern and drinking it is uncertain as the owner states her water has extra filtration, but not the rental unit. Also, we asked about laundry and were told it's unavailable, however we could see the washer and dryer from our front porch. The beautiful lightweight beach towels provided could have used one quick wash as they were saturated with salt midway through our stay. The bath mat also would have been a lot fresher if washed half way through our seven day stay. The parking is all the way at the bottom of the hill off property. Parking was provided for a few nights in the driveway, but should be provided every day at this rate. Also, the pool and lounge chairs prominently pictured in the listing are off limits to guests of this VRBO. Finally, the walkway from the driveway to the unit needs attention. There is insulation in the windows and the walkway needs to be powerwashed. There is water pooling most days on the walkway approaching the unit. Aside from these details, this is a very comfortable and well managed VRBO in a very nice area. Easily accessible to a great restaurant, Lanai, at Limetree Resort and the ferry to St. John in Redhook. Also recommend Pangea restaurant at Sapphire.

Great property, great visit. Very, very clean, nicely decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious bath. Nice balcony and view of the ocean. The owner responded quickly to our questions and gave us good advice. I highly recommend. Five minute walk to the beach!!

I spent my birthday here and it was beautiful, the resort was a 3 minute walk including the beach, I felt like I was in a beautiful treehouse, the hill to the property was tiring after hanging out, and not many places to eat but other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Best spot to unplug & explore

The spot was perfect! The extra touches and space were on point. The snack basket was clutch and hand written note so appreciated! There were three of us and our plan was to simply exist with no plans for our 4 night stay. A much needed vacation that we thoroughly enjoyed. Deena even met us at the bottom of the driveway since it can be missed. Super responsive and helpful at every turn. We even got fresh mangoes from the tree in the yard. And pup and kitty pets! The space was super clean and had everything you’d need. Lime Tree Resort was a great spot to start with the beach, food and drinks. The Market has a great variety of items - we were able to make pasta and have a bottle of wine a couple nights. Taxis know the place so getting around was pretty easy without a car. If you get a car - they drive on the left and the roads have a lot of turns and twists and can feel narrow in spots. The beds were super comfy. The towels extra fluffy. And the beach towels were the best! The fans and AC at night keep the place cool and cozy. I enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning. Best way to start the day. The water can be viewed from the deck and it’s great day or night. Highly recommend walking to the left at the bottom of the driveway and seeing some amazing views. As described in the listing - the house is located up a small hill. If you walk around or down to the resort - you will get a slight workout. Walk slowly and enjoy the view and it’ll be worth it. Thank you Deena and Charlie! We appreciate your hospitality so much!

Beautiful location

Deena & Charlie were great host. They answered questions and assisted us with all of our needs. The vacation spot was beautiful and extremely clean. They provided us with a binder full of details from events to restaurants and the rules of the property. My mom forgot her wallet and Deena was nice enough to send it back to the states with no hesitation. Charlie helped my mom with her luggage when we first arrived, which was really pleasant. The driveway is a huge hill but we enjoyed the exercise. From our experience it’s hills everywhere so we have no complaints. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing island guest house.

Had such a great time. We enjoyed mangoes from the trees in the yard. The resort is literally 3 minute walk away. Enjoyed dinner at Linai and Dentons steakhouse. My fiancé proposed on Limetree Beach. Such a special trip and Deena’s treehouse was the perfect place to rest and relax each night. She answered all questions quickly and was accommodating and super thoughtful.

The property was beautiful. Nicely renovated and offered exactly what we needed on the interior; simply gorgeous. Well done! My concern was the lack of transparency with the exterior. The location is not ideal for elderly or folks with health issues. You have to navigate a pretty steep hill just to get to the main road. You also have to navigate up a slope with stairs to also get to the actual property. There is also no parking on the premises. Had I known some of these factors I may have reconsidered. This needs to be in the description so people can make informed decisions.

Perfect stay for my Birthday Getaway

Deena & Charlie's place was the perfect space for me and my three friends to celebrate my 37th Birthday. It is very private, hidden in a beautiful forest and is a short walk (~5 min) from Limetree Resort where we often dined at the restaurant, Lanai. It was also nice to be so close to an ATM! The place itself was cute, clean and surprisingly spacious. The driveway is on a hill so that's something to be aware of if you have severe mobility impairments (we didn't have any issues). Deena was very friendly/helpful without being obtrusive and recommended some local hangout spots. I would definitely recommend her place to anyone visiting St. Thomas!
