What a delightful spot! Wonderfully situated and tastefully appointed, it was the ideal little sanctuary for a getaway with my mum. Our host greeted us like old friends – a genuinely lovely touch. The space itself suited us perfectly as mum/daughter, and we found ourselves instantly at ease.If I’m being a touch particular (as is my way), a key drop-box would have added that extra dash of freedom – we had to keep one eye on the clock for key handovers, which put a gentle nudge in our plans. The shower, while serviceable, might benefit from a spa day of its own – perhaps a new head for a bit more oomph. And a note for those staying with friends: the main bathroom is open-plan (with only the toilet getting its own door), so privacy might be on the minimalist side.That said, for us, it was ideal. Would I return? Absolutely – I’ll be back, next time with my husband in tow.
