Unforgettable stay in the Dolomites

A really wonderful location just a few minutes from the heart of Bolzano. The house was incredible and our only regret is that we didn’t get to enjoy it in the summer! We’ll be back! Highly recommend

Beautiful location, wonderful host

My partner and I stayed at the Messnerhoff winery guest house for a week in May and will definitely come back next time we are in Bolzano/Bozen. The location is close to town, but quiet. The views are incredible, and the house is comfortable, clean and well-designed. The home is within walking distance of several amazing hiking trails, and it is only 1.25 miles along the river path to historic downtown Bolzano. Bernhard was a lovely host -- he was responsive, gave us a tour of his vineyard and wine cellar, and was kind enough to give us a ride to the train station at the end of our stay because taxis were hard to come by. Definitely recommend this VRBO.

Very pleasant place to stay in beautiful environment

We really enjoyed our stay at Messnerhof. The host was very friendly, had lots of good advice and is making great wine. Staying in the middle of the vineyards with a view over the city was beautiful. The last bit of the road to the appartment is steep, but doable. The walk to the center of town does take a while (± 30 min). Good to do with nice weather. I would certainly recommend a stay here!

In the vineyards

Excellent for a couple. Also with children. A brief tour of the owners wine facility and describing his methods was a major highlight. His wines are top notch. Thanks Bernhard for your time and introducing your children.

Spectacular views and so comfortable

We loved staying at this unique property. Located in a vineyard it has wonderful views over the valley and surrounding vineyards. The apartment is extremely comfortable with everything you need. It is relatively new so beds, lounge and kitchen are all excellent. We enjoyed our days out and coming back to cook and relax here at night and sample the excellent wines on offer. We even had a great wine tour and tasting. It is a 25 minute walk into town and back up a hill, which we were happy to do in order to stay somewhere so special. I would highly recommend staying here.

What can I say, we stayed at Bernhard’s apartment for 16 nights and everything was great!

Bernhard picked is up at the train station as we were coming in, in the evening. The accommodation was very clean. The surroundings are stunning and breathtaking. The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed also the basic cooking essentials. We took a tour of his winery and loved his passion and knowledge for all that he does. His wine was one of the very best we’ve ever had! We will surely come back!

Relaxing Amongst the Grapevines

Staying in the flat at Messnerhof Winery was fabulous! Bernhard was the perfect host, being there when we arrived, available if we had questions, and checking in from time to time to make sure all was well. He took us on a tour of his winery and had wines available for us to enjoy, and we did! We’re looking forward to sharing some with friends when we return home. The flat was comfortable and had everything you need for a vacation in Bolzano. The area is breathtaking and Bernhard shared directions to walks/hikes in the area, best ways to get into town, and even supplied a pass that we were able to use if we visited sites in town or use on transportation. The views were stunning, like living in a postcard for the week. We’d definitely recommend staying there!

Wirklich sehr gut ausgestattete FeWo: Vor allem, für alle, die selber kochen und genießen wollen! Beste Haushsltsgeräte und umfassende Utensensilien, wie Töpfe, Pfannen, Dampfgarer, Messe. Modernes Bad. Alles bestens gepflegt. Das haben wir selten so erlebt!. Und dann gibt es auch noch zwei Terassen. In die Innenstadt kommt man wunderbar zu Fuß in 30 min zu 2/3 über die schöne Wasserpromenade.Und Herr Pichler hat uns sogar noch eine Weinprobe ermöglicht! Vielen Dank für fünf sehr schöne Tage!

Herr Pichler ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der immer gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand, sei es bezüglich Wanderrouten oder Gastrotipps.Ferienwohnung liegt direkt im Weinberg mit toller Aussicht.Bozen ist trotzdem gut fußläufig erreichbar. Trotz der hohen Temperaturen war die Wohnung erstaunlich kühl. Auch die hauseigenen Weine sind sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr schön gelegen!

Die Wohnung entsprach dem Versprochenen. Mit sehr schöner Lage und Aussicht und sauber. Liegemöglichkeiten gab es unter Weinreben. Zu Beginn bekamen wire eine intensive und sehr freundliche Einweisung zu Unternehmungstips der Umgebung. Bis zum Stadtzentrum von Bozen sind fussläufig etwas über 30 Minuten einzuplanen. Außerdem konnten vielfältige hauseigene Weine ausprobiert werden.Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Absolut empfehlenswert

Die Wohnung liegt ideal in 25 Minuten Fußweg in die Innenstadt von Bozen, in zwei Minuten zu schönen Wanderwegen. Die Bauweise und Einrichtung der Wohnung ist hochwertig, die Betten sind gut und die Woh ung ist sehr sauber. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, sogar mit scharfen Messern. Lediglich ein richtiger Backofen fehlt, dafür gibt es aber eine Mikrowelle mit Backofenfunktion. Herr Pichler ist ein unaufdringlicher, aber sehr aufmerksamer Vermieter, der uns mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge und Einkehrmöglichkeiten versorgt hat. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Perfect verblijf

We hebben een superleuke tijd gehad bij Bernard! Ideale ligging om de omgeving te verkennen en te gaan wandelen! Heel leuk appartement met twee mooie terrassen. Een aanrader! We hebben verschillende liften genomen in de buurt om te gaan wandelen. Ideale uitvalsbasis!

Wunderbarer Ort

Gerade außerhalb von Bozen, aber nah genug, um doch schnell Aktivitäten zu starten. Bei uns ging das jeweils per Fahrrad los, nur die letzten 300 m am Berg mussten wir immer schieben. In Kombination mit der im Preis inkludierten Bozen Card total flexibel. Zum Glück kann man es in der Wohnung kühl halten, und die Terrassen sind sowieso perfekt. Vermieter ist umgänglich und wirklich sehr nett.
