Magnolia Sands is a beautiful vacation oasis on the coast of Waveland, Mississippi. It features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, sleeping 8 guests total (4 adults max, 6 children max) (the bedrooms feature 2 queen sized beds and 2 bunk beds.), a spacious living room and kitchen, laundry room and a large front porch with a partial view of the gulf. It's coastal theme will set your mind adrift as you relax and enjoy your time in Waveland.

Magnolia Sands is located within walking distance to the beach, Garfield Ladner Pier (fishing), Biking/Walking track, Volleyball nets, and downtown Waveland.

We offer a list of local restaurants, grocery delivery services, activities and events, as well as an informational booklet upon arrival providing contact information, house rules, and more.

Our home will be stocked with linens, towels, beach towels, and some staples that you can't do without. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a coffee and tea bar, with a Keurig and a variety of supplies. Your wi-fi password will be posted for you inside our home as well as house rules and check-in/out information. You can contact us at anytime with questions or problems.

We hope you have a luxurious and relaxing stay and will visit us again. We welcome feedback that will help enhance the next guest's stay.

We do require a rental agreement and $400 security hold (not a charge, but a hold that will be released after your stay).

My husband, two children and two grandchildren had a wonderful stay here. As we sat on the upper porch, they would constantly say Mom, you couldn't have gotten a better place with these views of the gulf. The ride to crabbing and Bay St. Louis was an easy 5-10 min ride down the road. Ms. Shellie was a text away with any questions. The place was very clean and well equipped with all amenities. Great Place to stay! We will be back.

Would definitely stay here again....

The house was everything we expected. Super nice, very clean and well stocked with anything and everything you need. The location to the beach is perfect. We actually walked back and forth with ease....even with a 3 year old. :-) The neighborhood is quiet. We met some of the neighbors on the beach. They were very nice. I would highly recommend staying here.

Friends Getaway!

We were a small group of 3 girlfriends that wanted to get away to a quiet lovely place to chill. We couldn't have picked a better place. The host was great and very easy to contact if we had any questions. The house was clean and very charming. We recommend staying here HIGHLY!

Spacious and comfortable home

The house was beautifully decorated, light and spacious. It certainly felt like we were someplace “special”. We loved the short walk to the beach. The weather was quite cool while we were visiting so we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful front porch. We visit Waveland each summer, and we will consider this property for future visits with our children.

Great all around

Great overall experience. Background: We were looking for a way to visit the beach and New Orleans (NOLA doesn't have beaches), and this proved to be the perfect way to do that. Location: a 5 minute walk to the beach (even with small kids), 5 minute drive to Bay St. Louis and about an hour drive to the WWII museum downtown. Though Bay St. Louis had lots of restaurants, we drove a little further to Shaggy's in Pass Christian Harbor, which turned out to be a fun family friendly spot for us to eat and enjoy the harbor. House: seemed pretty new and furnishings all seemed pretty new. Space was ample for our family of 6. The 3rd bedroom was great for our 2 year old (older 3 kids were in the bunk bed room) but the master bed has a walk in closet (with pack-n-play) that we could've used if we needed more space. Host: very responsive with the two inquiries we had, and was all around very helpful. Not only would we recommend, we'll definitely keep in mind if we go back to New Orleans.

Fantastic Place

Obviously love it here. It is the second time we have stayed there this year. Perfect location, house is beautiful, and the host is wonderful. What more could I say, its 5 stars all the way!!!!

Serenity with a View

Magnolia Sands is a beautiful vacation home in a quiet neighborhood. The open layout of the home provides abundant living space on one side and sleeping space on the other. The nautical-themed decor is beautiful, especially the wall art, but isn't overdone. The kitchen has almost everything needed but could use some mixing bowls, a liquid measuring cup, a large casserole dish, and more silicone cooking spoons. The furniture is very comfortable, and the luxury vinyl floors are easy to keep clean. The bathrooms are large and well stocked with nice touches like cotton balls, Q-tips, and make-up remover wipes, but they could use a few more hand towels. The bedrooms have the added touch of noise machines. The bunk-bed room was a big hit with our grandchildren. As another reviewer mentioned, however, the bed in the main bedroom is very squeaky, irritating light sleepers like my husband, who awakened every time I turned over in my sleep. Nothing we tried made it better. The mattress, on the other hand, is very comfortable. Those who prefer darker bedrooms will need to bring a sleep mask and let down the curtains because there are no window shades. The laundry is well stocked, and drying clothes went faster than I could have imagined, even on medium heat. Furnished with four rocking chairs that were very comfortable, the front porch is perfect for enjoying the view of the gulf. The kind and accommodating owners communicated well. We would definitely stay at Magnolia Sands again!

Lovely little getaway

Stayed with friends and their kids, very spacious well-kept property. Many amenities, kitchen necessities on hand, we were quite comfortable. Many games for our kids were available, and even some outdoor toys/games which our young kids enjoyed. The big front porch with the rocking chairs were our favorite part, we all spent the afternoon there. The view was nice - we easily walked to the beach and a lovely beachfront walking path. Restaurants were a quick drive away. Check-in, check out a breeze.

Waveland Relaxing

This is a great place to stay. The property was clean, within sight of the beach, and quiet. It was nice to be off the road just slightly and yet have a view of the water. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We will stay here again next time we traveling to Waveland with our family.

Very comfortable and clean

Lots of room and clean. Towels really soft and fresh. Could have used a lamp in living room and bow curtain rod in master shower. Also a little uncomfortable with the cameras. Makes me wonder if there were others I didn’t see

We are a family of 6 currently living in a rural town in southwest Georgia. Purvis and I met in Charleston, SC where we both had jobs in the medical field. We were married in Jamaica, then had 3 biological children, followed by the adoption of our 4th child. I am now an entrepreneur from home while Purvis continues his medical career during the day and works with me after hours. We both volunteer and serve our church and community and strive to build our businesses on kingdom principals. Thank you for allowing us to serve you in our newest venture here at Magnolia Sands.
