Lake Michigan beach & guest home in Saugatuck with frontage on the channel at the pier head with a great walkable beach & just doors from 1000+/- acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Can walk to beach with just a few stairs. Main home and guest home are great for entertaining with 2 kitchens; main home has 2 center islands and eating areas inside and out on a huge lakeside wraparound porch. NO Weddings over 25 on site but MANY wedding/event centers within a few short miles. New heated in-ground pool 2023. 2022 Hot tub. Guest house has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, a 2nd laundry & a 2nd full kitchen with a ping pong & foosball table below with couches, a king bed and twin bed, a futon sleeper and sliders to newer in-ground heated pool (heated at 85 degrees). Main house has 3 en suites each with king bed and balconies/decking on both sides of the rooms.

Book a full 7 days at both main/guest house in the summer Saturday to Saturday between Memorial & Labor Day weeks and included is a complimentary 4-hour trip aboard my 60' fantail motor yacht with captain. www.YachtYemaya.com. Captain Chuck for booking is at 616-403-6196. Ask about hiring in-home chef. 8 bedrooms and sleeps up to 18. Both east and west wing rented together.

Smart TV's and Alexa in most rooms, game room with billiards and bar area in main house, ping pong, foosball, darts and Play Station in rec room of guest house. 2 bikes for adults. Lots of blow up pool toys. Stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Great year round home. Gorgeous sunsets most nights.

On 5 acres. Gas grills by main house and by pool/patio area. Loads of things to do in nearby Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland and Fennville.

Main kitchen has warming drawer, 2 full size refrigerator-freezers, ice maker, wine fridge, double Gaggenau ovens, 6 burner gas stove top, loads of kitchen items for larger parties, several coffee makers from Keurig to a larger percolator to French Press and drip coffee makers.

Games galore: Pool table, foosball table, ping pong, Play Station, dartboard and many card and board games and loads of books.

We enjoyed an exceptional Christmas stay with our family, including adult children and young grandchildren. The host was responsive and welcoming, the home was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The breathtaking winter views of Lake Michigan created a peaceful and memorable backdrop for our time together.

The view is unique, encompassing an unobstructed 180 degrees of Lake Michigan and vast conservation land. The home’s design is meant to resemble a ship and you feel you’re onboard a luxury vessel. Perfect for family reunions, with room for the grandkids as well as lots of sibs. Plenty of activities to choose from.

Beautiful one of a kind property. The location was amazingly special. Once we got there we never left the property. The beautiful little town of Saugatuck was very close by but the house and property were so amazing we just couldn’t leave. Everything we needed was right there. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The view was like no other. We could’ve sat on the beach all day long and watched the waves and the boats come and go. We will definitely be back for an even longer stay next time!

Andrea, the host, was very quick in answering any questions. Being right on the beach was excellent. We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children under 10. As part of a birthday celebration, we had Lydia of Porch Light Gathering cater the dinner for the adults and everything was excellent. We had two young babysitters to watch the kids and they were great.

Wonderful vacation

The eleven of us had a fantastic week at Petrichor! There was plenty of space for our three generations in four families to spend time together, or retreat to privacy. The home was immaculate, and extremely well stocked with everything from pantry staples to kitchen necessities to games to pool toys! The views from the living rooms and decks were just stunning-many hours were spent watching the boats and the wildlife! The lower level game room was a hit with the kids, and the pool was perfect for everyone. The beach was easily accessible and provided relaxation with beautiful views and plenty of seating around the fire pit. Andrea was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. There’s no better place to spend a week in summer!

A relaxing week on Lake Michigan

We had an amazing week at Andrea’s house on Lake Michigan. Andrea was a very attentive host and was quick to respond if we had questions or needed suggestions about the area.The property is very nice and has a big kitchen - full of everything you need to cook and a separate dining room with a table that comfortably fits 10-12 people for big family dinners. The wrap around porch was a favorite spot after dinner to relax in the lounge chairs and watch the sun set. Our kids enjoyed spending time at the pool and the beach during the day. In the evenings they enjoyed playing pool and catching up on their favorite shows.Definitely a great place if you are looking for a relaxing trip by the beach.

Beautiful beach and house

We stayed five nights for a family reunion, 12 adults and four little kids. The house and property were super clean. We loved the beach, pool, sunsets. Any question or concern we had was addressed quickly by Andrea. It was fun watching boats go in and out of the channel. The two houses (main and guest) provide lots of space for people to relax on their own or to mingle whole group. The property is a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. Great location! We hope to return to this special house!

Graduation Weekend

We were so excited to rent Andrea‘s beautiful Sagautuck home overlooking gorgeous lake Michigan for our son‘s college graduation weekend. We had friends and family stay with us and the weekend was perfect! Andrea and her husband are wonderful hosts! The house could not have been more perfect, and the views are spectacular! We are a family who likes to cook and entertain, and I was blown away by how stocked the kitchen is! Every appliance known to mankind and every platter/bowl/serving piece is there to use. Incredible Spring Break Stay

Everything about this trip was ELITE. Communication was great, the property manager/owner really cares about your stay and experience, and you can feel that. The house itself is incredible. The kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, sitting rooms, deck space, game room, guest house, all simply outstanding. The beach is less than 50 steps from the door. The views are absolutely breathtaking. Appreciated the "accessories" - the hot tub, swimming pool, grills, Keurig, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, PS5, and even the first aid kit (whoops). Thank you for the priceless family memories, I cannot wait to stay here again!

An Unforgettable Experience at an Absolutely Stunning Lakefront Retreat!

From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away by this incredible property. The home and its setting are even more beautiful than the photos — truly breathtaking! Designed to resemble a boat, with lots of port-type windows, outdoor decks that make you feel like you’re looking out from a cruise ship, and an abundance of good vibes, this home is truly a piece of art. It offered the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, allowing us to completely unwind. We all left feeling rested, rejuvenated, and completely at peace. We were initially hesitant about staying separately between the main home and guest house, but were pleased to find that the homes are conveniently connected through the lower level, which made the stay even more enjoyable.The aroma and sounds coming out of the kitchen were simply amazing. Chef Carmen Gutierrez was nothing short of amazing. Every meal was authentic — some of the best food we've ever had, hands down. The care and quality put into each dish, Carmen put our stay over the top! This is more than a place to stay; it's an experience in itself. If you're looking for luxury, tranquility, and unforgettable memories, look no further. Highly recommend!

Breath Taking Views - Rare opportunity!

Our week long visit during ‘Indian Summer’ was amazing! We were in town for a wedding that took place at a local venue. We had enough room and endless views for a few dinner parties for out of town guests and meeting the other side of the family. The owner was even gracious enough to allow a mini photo shoot of the bridal party. Breathtaking views from nearly every angle of this stunning home. The sunsets were surreal! The home is an absolute masterpiece in its design, layout and finishes.Massive wrap around decks and shaded areas with gorgeous, comfy teak furnishings. Absolutely one of the best luxury homes my husband and I ever rented! We felt quite honored to be able to experience this extremely rare setting. The house is surrounded by 7 acres of gorgeous golden dune grasses. That alone was part of the magic. The seclusion out on a dune like this is something almost impossible to find elsewhere. The home was extremely well equipped for entertaining. Graciously supplied with just about everything you could imagine. Carmen the chef was superb and fit right in with our family and lifestyle. Chuck the boat captain was very down to earth, a true Midwesterner who made everyone feel welcomed. The owner could not have been anymore attentive and accommodating. We are already looking forward to our next visit! We also LOVED downtown Saugatuck! The charm and history were such a lovely surprise.

June 24 Retreat

Everything was wonderful with this stay except for the Wifi. It may have been because there were 12 of us but it was very weak at the guesthouse but better at the main house. I was surprised at the big gaps between the stairs inside so we had to put gates up so our little dog wouldn't fall through. The steps are very steep leading to the beach so I didn't use them although others in my party did. The host was responsive with my questions. The house is massive and a great place to host a family reunion or a group of friends.

The best property on the Michigan coast

Hands down the best spot along with Michigan coast for a celebration! The perfect location and accommodations for my wife's 50th bday party. To have a main and guest house works great for larger parties. Access to a chef was a treat you don't get at most properties and the beach at sunset was spectacular! One of our favorite trips

The only downside of our trip was not being able to stay longer! The property was incredible with one of the most beautiful views we’ve ever seen. The amenities could not have been better—from the heated pool, to the hot tub, to the beach…there was a place for everyone to enjoy with a large group. You cannot beat the expansive private beach and gorgeous sunsets. I immediately looked up potential dates for returning next year after our trip ended. It was truly special and I hope to be back here one day!

Rent a retro electric boat or a "doughnut" boat on the Kalamazoo River, climb to the top of Mt Baldy in Saugatuck or Mt Pisgah near the Holland State Park for some of the best views. Visit Oxbox Arts Camp or the John Ball Park Zoo or Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, summer performances at Hope College's Summer Repertory Theater or at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Many of the local farmer's markets are Wednesdays & Saturdays (Holland & South Haven) & Saugatuck has it's own. Demond's Groceries in Douglas is the closest but Family Fare on S Washington and Meijers on E 16th St in Holland or Meijers in South Haven have more selection and better produce.

Spectacular all year round with the nearly 1000 acre Saugatuck Dunes State Park just a short walk to our north past about 7 other beachfront homes and there's hundreds of acres on the south side of the pier and channel that is a preserve so this 7 acre property feels like it's much larger. Bring your own bikes or kayaks. We supply beach chairs & towels, outdoor furniture, indoor linens, a VERY well stocked kitchen(s), streaming TV's in nearly every room, a billiards and a ping pong table. 4 fireplaces.
