This mountain gateway is ideal for those who need peace and quiet and those who love outdoor adventures. Perfect for families, couples and friends.
Our guests will enjoy all the amenities that come with booking, such as indoor/outdoor pools, indoor jacuzzi, tennis courts (indoor/outdoor), volleyball, racquetball, fishing at 2 ponds (catch and release only). Golf and spa (additional fees). Fine dinning and bar at the Woods Clubhouse Grille and Pub.
You will have 6 passes. If you need more, please let us know. Additional passes cost $5 per day per person.
We can book custom packages for you in advance so you don’t need to worry about anything when you arrive.

Theo’s lodge has all new flooring, new fridge, dishwasher, washer and drier. All new beds and other furniture.
This cabin currently has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. On the first floor you will find comfortable couches and a large smart TV, dining area and fully stocked kitchen, as well as a full bath and 1st bedroom with Full Size bed plus bunk beds (Twin over Twin).
The second floor offers cosy loft with reading nook, table games, colouring books for younger kids. Master bedroom with queen size bed and a full bathroom,and work dedicated space.
Basement is only to be used for washer and drier at this time.

Outside there is newly stained generous size deck with table and chairs, and grill. Two rocking chairs on the front porch, fire pit and outdoor seating. Picnic table. Fire wood provided.


Please note: Property is located in the woods so insects and bugs can find their way in. There is a bug spray in the pantry for a quick remedy. Our pest control company comes every month but during warmer month mosquitoes and flies are still everywhere. Don’t forget to bring mosquito spray.
Digs welcome 2 maximum (additional fees)
Grocery shopping within 15 mins: Martins in Hedgesville
Dollar General is 7 minutes away.
Berkley Spring offers fine dining restaurants within 15-20 mins, unique shopping, antiques and historical places to visit.

Cigarette butts must be properly disposed. If there is a cigarette/weed smell in the house after check out, you will be charged additional $250.

No hair dye during your stay. No glitter. Please use black wash cloth for make up removal. Quite time is 10pm till 8am.

This was a great experience and my family was very happy. Everything was clean and felt fresh. The host was very communicative and helpful! There was a lot of wood for the campfire and seasoning for food. The pool at the sports center was nice and the lake was relaxing, although we didn’t catch anything. It was a special time for a birthday.

Family loved it.

Everything was as advertised and we had a great week staying at the cabin. I feel like it was a little more expensive than other cabins I looked at, but I have zero complaints. The Woods was a really cool place to stay, and we will be back for sure!

Weekend getaway

We had a very nice time staying at Theo’s cabins! Beds were comfy, kitchen fully equipped and organized. We had a very relaxing time at the cabin! We enjoyed the Woods resort while we were there. Especially the outdoor pool!

Wonderful Vacation

The property was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay with our teenager and two dogs (loved the pillow bar!), communication from Sasha was great, and the resort pools were beautiful. Everyone was just so nice, too! Thank you, Sasha, for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely gorgeous cabin in the woods!

This beautiful cabin in woods was perfect for our weekend getaway. My husband and I, along with our dog, stayed for two nights. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer! Sasha is a wonderful and friendly host. We are so happy we found this place and we’ve already booked our next stay!

Cozy anniversary

Clean, comfortable, organized, everything you might need from cook-ware, firstaid kit, and even small snacks provided. We enjoyed the jaccuzi, pool and racquetball. Stayed in and cooked our meals and had a blast!

Clean & comfortable lodge, lots of activities nearby

Our family (2 adults & 2 teens) loved staying in this lodge in The Woods community. The home was well stocked and clean. The communication with the host, Sasha, was fantastic whenever we had questions. We enjoyed hiking, swimming in the pools, using the fitness center and tennis courts, and exploring Berkeley Springs and a nearby State Park. Wi-Fi in the lodge was excellent and the air conditioning and ceiling fans made even the hottest days feel comfortable. Everyone we met in The Woods was really kind and friendly, too. We are so glad we stayed here for our family vacation!

Nice spot for a trip

Nice cabin, very easy to check in/out, no ridiculous cleaning demands for leaving. Sasha is very responsive. One small concern is that there were not enough lights as the cabin is a bit dark inside given the wood walls. We also noted a few lights did not work, including the one outside near the BBQ that made it hard to grill after dusk. Otherwise well equipped for cooking and comfortable to relax in after a day of enjoying the amenities of The Woods.

Wonderful Stay

Here are the things we were impressed by: 1. As soon as you enter, there’s a cute personalized welcome sign for you and your guests. This was a nice touch! 2. Entry was simple and secure. 3. Considering that it is a cabin where animals are welcomed, the place was very clean. 4. Communication with the property owner from prior, during and after our stay was great. 5. Fire pit was a nice addition to the home. Firewood was available. 6. The house was already stocked with essential items like fire starter, light bulbs, toilet paper, trash bags, snack, etc. 7. Abundance of light to make the home as bright or as dim as you’d like. 8. Upstairs bed was particularly firm and comfortable. 9. Majority of the furnitures were well maintained and up-kept to provide comfort and safety. 10. Though we didn’t get to use the facilities available at the nearby community center, ample access cards were provided for our use. We really did not have any complaints or concerns for this place. This place was a very calm and quaint place for quick vacation. We hope to return in the future.

Family Time

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. This shirt trip was a Christmas present to us all. Now that the kids are in college, our family time together is short. This was the perfect place to be together. We built a puzzle and played games that we brought. We used the spa and got facials and relaxed. Thank you!

Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Very clean and great for families with kids. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you need and more. Lovely outside fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. Great location for everything we were interested in doing on our trip. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area. Everyone in our group loved it, we highly recommend Theos cabin!

Fall Golf Getaway

The cabin was perfect for our quick golf getaway. The cabin is equipped with all the necessities, is clean, and well maintained. The fire pit is perfect and the wood provided made for a great evening relaxing in “The Woods.” The personal welcome sign and snacks were a lovely touch and the decor was homey and welcoming. The covered porch served us well for a night cap on a rainy night. We look forward to returning.

perfect cabin in the woods to enjoy the hiking and scenery near berkeley springs.

we needed a weekend away in nature to hike and fish. my boys (aged 7 and 9) loved theo’s cabin in the woods. perfect bunk beds, outdoor fire pit, and snuggly couch for movie night. was perfect for what we needed. clean, stocked, and easy to stay there.

True log cabin with local handcrafted decor, comfortable beds and privacy . Fast WiFi, dedicated work space. Very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful neighborhood. Remote but still close to everything.
During the warmer month we recommend to open all windows and let the mountain clean air to fill the room. It's not only saves electricity but it is healthy for you. The Woods community has a Spa that offers many treatments that will help you to relax, feel new again. Also there is men's steam room and women's sauna to help reduce allergies and reduce respiratory issues or just help to relax. West Virginia is beautiful, you will feel as a child again when you let yourself to reconnect with nature. So come and stay at Theo's Lodge to embrace those wonderful feelings.
