West side retreat, Modern Homestead

The property will still have everything you need to work or relax year round. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, although the ensuite master bath is on the small side. A very spacious gourmet kitchen, high speed internet and a dining room for 6 or as a temporary office work area. The backyard highlights magnificent views of Peavine Mountain range. Stepping out of all rooms on the backside of the house to a fully furnished backyard. Complete with a firepit, seasoned wood, BBQ, dining table and two separate seating areas. Enjoy those views with your morning coffee or in the evening sitting around the backyard firepit.

The house is not toddler proof; uncovered sockets, sharp corners, glass sliding doors. We do not provide cribs, changing stations or play pens.

Exceptional Home!

Catherine is terrific! Great communication and very helpful. The house was clean and perfectly stocked with everything we needed. The backyard is beautifully maintained and the view is amazing. We look forward to staying again!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying in home! Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the backyard and the beautiful view. We would definitely stay in this home again if we were to come back to Reno!

Great, quiet spot for the family

Our families shared this property with another family for a basketball tournament. The house was very clean, spacious, and well stocked with kitchen items! We cooked daily and could find everything we needed and then some! The neighborhood was nice and peaceful and a quick drive to the convention center. The backyard was beautiful and peaceful. It was enough space for the kiddos to run around or the adults to gain some quiet time for coffee or a glass of wine. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, quiet retreat and great location

The house was lovely, super comfortable, and well appointed. The location was close to everything – parks, shopping, downtown, the Riverwalk, and museums. Loved the yard and the open view. Catherine was an amazing and very responsive. Looking forward to another stay!

Excellent

This was a roomy, nice and clean place to stay, it also had a cabinet full of games to play. The location was perfect for what we needed. Suggestions I have would add some pot holders for the hot pans and maybe some more bath towels. I recommend this property.

Annual girls trip

For our annual girls trip 2023, we decided to stay in Reno. Our VRBO was amazing! Plenty of room for the 6 ladies on our trip. The rental was beautifully decorated, the couch and beds were very comfortable. The backyard was the best as we were there during the Hot Air Balloon festival. We sat at the patio table, drank our coffee and watched all the hot air balloons. This VRBO is conveniently located to easy access to the freeway. We definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone interested in visiting Reno!

Quiet, clean and cozy.

Catherine was an exceptional host: warm and inviting on initial check-in. Always available when we reached out for help. Highly recommend for family. House was clean, backyard is spacious and location is just outside of town(10 minutes or less from Grand Sierra Resort) and 6 minutes from the coolest place in Reno (The River in down town Reno). Kids enjoyed the extra large T.V. in the living room and Mom enjoyed how safe the neighborhood is. Dad loved the BIG kitchen and our teen got to have her own room for a week. We loved it.

Reno Retreat

Great home with convenient location close to freeway connections to many popular destinations in the Reno area. Home is perfect for families to singles with plenty of space, comfortability, and clean environment. For those who want to take advantage of relaxing and enjoying the outdoor weather, the home has a perfect outdoor space for days or evenings. Easy, courteous host to communicate with. Well stocked amenities. Highly recommended property.

Annual golf getaway

We do an annual golf getaway in different parts of the country. We are 4 college buddies with friendships going back 50 years. This house was perfect for our needs. Excellent location to courses, shopping and restaurants. Comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable furniture inside. And a great backyard with 4 chairs around a fire pit watching the sunset after our round of golf. Catherine was always available from the moment I booked this reservation.

Very comfortable, great location

We were in town for a family funeral and didn’t actually spend much time at the property, but it was very comfortable and nice to have a quiet spot to return to in the evenings. It was a great location for us.

Beautifully decorated property

The house was marvelous, especially the kitchen which can easily handle multiple cooks simultaneously. Only concerns: how to access basic commercial tv stations…never figured out…..and hallway bathroom tub faucet handle is so stiff it required two hands to move it. Other than that, perfect place for family gathering.

Celebrated a milestone birthday here

Excellent experience

Our last VRBO in Reno was a huge disappointment and we were hoping for a clean, uncluttered, quiet, comfortable accommodation this time. This property measured up in all respects and we really enjoyed our 10 day stay. Hoping it will be available for our next visit.

Wonderful place to stay

We stayed here for 4 days during our son’s wedding. This house is exceptionally comfortable with lots of amenities. Unfortunately due to the fact that we had so many family wedding activities we were not able to use the outdoor fire pit but it looked super inviting. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located to any place you need to go to in Reno. We would highly recommend this home.

My husband enjoy entertaining, so it seemed like a natural to add hosting at our property to our list of day to day activities.

This property was considered the haunted house on the block. Bars on the windows and door, roof and fencing was coming down, backyard full of garbage, not to mention the rotted out bathrooms. But, upon entering the house I realized it had great bones, a beautiful backyard view and it was located in a great neighborhood. It has been a labor of love restoring the house to contemporary standards and a place I have truly come to love.

While the neighborhood is an old one - homes built in the 50's-60's, it has a nice family feel to it and is under gentrification. The backyard is always a pleasant surprise, the views of Peavine mountains are majestic and peaceful.
