Manasota Beachfront Retreat 3

Manasota Key 2 bedroom, 1 bath ground level Beach Retreat. This unit sits on a beach front lot, but is the roadside (individual) house. Save big bucks but get all the benefits of a beachfront house. As you exit the door, simply take a few steps, and enjoy the sand. No roads to cross, just grab your beach chair and beverages and start your day. Toes in the sand, beautiful sunsets and turquoise water abound. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath retreat has central A/C, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Leather couch (sleeper sofa) and love seat, high speed WIFI, TV, free laundry facilities, King bed in Master and a Queen bed. With a gas BBQ, picnic table for outside dining, onsite parking and an incredible location, what more could you ask for. Within walking distance to restaurants, often with live music.

Manasota Key offers that Old Florida Beachtown Island Vibe. Excellent dock fishing is right across the street at Chadwick Park, you can walk to Stump Pass State Park for an isolated picnic, or collect shells and shark tooth fossils up and down your beach. At night, enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets only a Florida Island can deliver.

This individual beach home is connected by a common roof (with a breezeway in between) to the beachfront unit. No common walls, no noise, dedicated individual 200 mbps WIFI and excusive parking for your unit. Propane BBQ'. Smoke detectors and Carbon monoxide detector. Cable and streaming. Saturday to Saturday required for 2027.

Close to everything! Stump Pass is a great hike. Beach just behind our lodging. Short walk to various restaurants. Loved this place.

We loved the seahorse beach house. If I had to make any recommendations, I would say put a blind on the door for privacy, and some blackout blinds in the bedrooms for lights in the evening.

Great beach access. Walk to restaurants. Adjacent properties under construction- noise in early morning. House needs some updates but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Quiet and close to beach

This was a perfect rental for a short term stay. The property was just a few steps from the beach and a very short walk to restaurants, etc. The screened in porch was lovely! The only issues with this particular property was that due to proximity of other properties, it was necessary to keep the blinds closed most all day. This wasn’t a big issue, as we were outside most of the time, but it was a bit claustrophobic. A privacy blind needs to be added to the door; we covered it up with a towel. Also please be aware that the renter does not supply soap, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, etc.

Almost 5 star

I would give this property a 5 star review but there are some minor things. First, the check-in process. The instructions say to go to the rental office to pick up your key. There is no key! You get a form with several codes (front door, laundry room door) instructions, dos and don’t etc. there is no reason to go to an office to pick up that stuff when it could be sent in an email. It’s a tad inconvenient especially when you’ve already been driving for 6+ hrs. Secondly, the bed frame for the king size bed is VERY squeaky! Anytime one person moves it shakes the entire bed and squeaks=sleepless nights and the door to the master bedroom also squeaks loudly when opening and closing. Please please fix these!!! Third, the shower head is tiny, water pressure is so so. Those are the reasons I did not give cottage #3 a 5 star. The cottage is in a great location, has a fabulous screen porch, is very clean, has adequate parking. I loved being able to do our laundry before traveling home, cooking our dinners on the grills and watching the beautiful Gulf sunsets!

Thank you for your review. I'd like to clear up why we prefer you come to our office to pick up your arrival packet. The first reason is because included in that package is your parking pass(es) and second, we have learned that giving the code by email, the guest does not abide by the 4 pm check in time. We will certainly make repairs to the squeaking bed and if you would have called us, we could have sent someone out to remedy the issue. I am glad that in spite of these issues, you had a nice stay.

Almost Perfect!

Property was modern and in great condition. The only malfunction was the air conditioner wasn’t working . A crew came and repaired it in 2 hours.
