There are a lot of reviews on the Grand Hotel of Orlando that were mixed and we found it to sit in the middle of them. There was old and worn out/damaged things throughout the property and rooms, and shows the age and lack of proper upkeep and care. It was cheaper than most and the breakfast was not different then most hotel continental breakfasts - mid but edible.
Check-in was slow as they only had one person working the counter and I had to run payments on my card for each individual room instead of one lump sum for the room group (not well thought out/executed).
If you know that you are getting it will work, but might be worth paying a little extra if you have the capital.
