As soon as you enter, you are welcomed by a majestic hall of around 30 m ², which sets the tone: generous volumes, high ceilings, architectural details.

Ground floor

🔸 1 bedroom with 3 children’s beds + shower room and toilet, ideal for the youngest.
Upper floor
🔸 2 large bedrooms of around 20 m² with king-size beds, desk/workspace, private shower room and toilet.
🔸 1 small lounge, a reading and relaxation area with small sofas and armchairs.
🔹 The 60 m² living room is the heart of the house, with comfortable sofas, large windows overlooking the garden, TV area with internet box and a reading and board games corner: perfect for getting together with family or friends.
♦️ The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, 2 refrigerators and 2 freezers. The adjoining dining room, bathed in light, allows you to share convivial meals around a large table.
🏓 In the basement, there is an indoor games room with a ping-pong table, as well as a laundry area equipped with a washing machine and a large-capacity tumble dryer.
🌴 Garden, pool & outdoors:
The garden of around 2700 m², listed as a heritage site, is an oasis of greenery and calm. It was once part of a large property belonging to the Rothschild family and still houses many exotic plants, palm trees, cacti and the original period pond.
You can enjoy a private pool lined with sun loungers and a large sunny terrace with outdoor lounge, dining area, summer kitchen and built-in gas barbecue.
Water games for all ages.
Numerous shaded spots to read or relax in a unique historic setting, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation.
It is the perfect place to switch off, soak up the sun and enjoy long summer evenings.
📍 Grasse, Cannes & surroundings:
The villa is located in Grasse, a town world-famous for its perfumeries and heritage, visits to its famous perfume factories, picturesque streets and exotic gardens to discover.
You are also ideally located to explore the Côte d’Azur, 15–20 minutes from the centre of Cannes, luxury shopping, beaches and water activities, beachfront restaurants with your feet in the sand, 30 minutes from Antibes, and 35 minutes from Nice airport (car rental available directly from the airport).
🏰 The story behind the villa:
The garden was part of a large property belonging to the Rothschild family, which once extended over the hills of Grasse. Alice de Rothschild had a spectacular garden created here with exotic plants, palm trees, cacti… many of which are still present on the property today.
Queen Victoria is said to have visited these gardens at the end of the 19th century, and tradition has it that Napoleon and Joséphine had their first rendezvous here. The property is called “La Pagerie”, in reference to the plantation owned by Joséphine’s family in Martinique. This historical dimension adds a unique charm to your stay.
🗝️ Guest access:
You have exclusive use of the entire property during your stay: villa, garden, pool and outdoor areas. Key handover takes place from 4 p.m. at the address of the property.
🧺 Linen & cleaning:
For stays of 6 nights or more, household linen is provided.
For stays of less than 6 nights, household linen is available as an optional extra at an additional cost, to be specified at the time of booking.
ADDITIONAL FEES:
A payment request for the tourist tax may be made DEPENDING ON THE BOOKING PLATFORM.
A security deposit in the form of an online bank card pre-authorisation may be requested DEPENDING ON THE BOOKING PLATFORM.
SERVICE:
To make your arrival easier, check-in will be carried out online via a link that we will send you once the booking is confirmed. After that, you will have access to a digital welcome booklet available to you for the duration of your stay. There you will find all the information relating to the arrival procedure, how the property works, good local addresses and much more.
