Tall pine trees surround this modest but cozy single-family home that has all the modern conveniences. Walk out the front door for the many forest hiking trailheads around the corner or stroll the friendly neighborhood, including Lake Odell one mile away. Enjoy several outdoor activities (fishing, kayaking, biking, cornhole, bird-watching, star-gazing). Warm wood tones and comfy plush furniture welcome you to relax after your day of fresh mountain air adventures. Kick-back in a hammock or the LoveSac to escape in your favorite book or play family-friendly board games Two decks, one covered, offer space for outdoor dining or relaxing while you soak up the serene surroundings. Enjoy home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or outdoor grilling with a propane BBQ grill. After dinner, sit around the propane fire-pit and roast s’mores. Primary bedroom with king-sized premium mattress and full bath on main floor. Two more bedrooms upstairs with a half-bath. Bedroom 2 has a premium queen and bedroom 3 has two full beds and two twin mattresses (one a trundle). A mini-split on the main floor provides primary heating and cooling. High efficiency front loader washer/dryer. Portable/baseboard AC and heaters are available for upstairs. A wood-burning stove adds ambience and extra heat in the winter months.

Cozy Mountain Home

Perfect for the Family

This cabin was perfect for our girls birthday trip. They loved being able to have their own space while we got the downstairs. We loved that it snowed while we were here. The host was amazing!

Perfect family getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The host was awesome! He was very responsive and kind and had lots of recommendations. The cabin was very clean! It was also kid friendly, they had lots of toys, books and kids furniture too. We got lucky and had a couple snow days during our stay and they even had sleds to slide down the hill out front. It was wonderful property with lots amenities and perfect for our family.

Excellent family get away.

Spacious house that is very clean, comfortable, and full of amenities. We had no problem feeling at home. Close proximity to Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon. The host was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

My Favorite Stay So Far

I have to say, I will try to book with Mr. Dockery every time I’m in the area. The accommodations were STELLAR, the area is breath taking, the neighbors were so nice and…and…and… We will be back!

The owner was easy to reach. The area is nice. The bed was comfortable. The living space and great for the family to gather in. Only negative comment is I wish the patios were more inviting. I would have liked to have hung out there

Loved our stay

The cabin was very clean, stocked with what we needed. Spacious living room. Rooms were tidy & plenty of sleep areas. Our young girls enjoyed the kid-themed room, as did our baby. Outside area was cozy & we loved the gas firepit. We recommend this cabin 100% the hosts were welcoming & helpful. We definitely are making plans to come back!!

There wasn't anything more we could have asked for! Everything was as expected! Great location, quiet, plenty of trees, tables outside on the back and front to enjoy the outdoors! Very homey and comfortable~

Perfect Stay in the Pines

We had a wonderful time at this house in Munds Park. Richard was super communicative and the house was set up to perfection. Our kids loved the upstairs room and exploring the outside spaces. My husband and I loved the neighborhood and the peaceful front yard where we could have our coffee or wine and greet everyone walking by. We hope to return to Richard’s awesome cabin!

Spring Break retreat

The cabin is clean, cozy, and set back in a beautiful quiet mountain pine tree neighborhood. It snowed the evening we arrived and that truly added to the beauty of our stay!! We drove to Sonoma several days, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon. The cabin is situated away from the hustle and bustle but everything was a short drive away. The cabin had everything we needed for a week long stay~ and more! The host, Richard, was easily accessible if we had questions. I highly recommend this for your private get away or a family vacation!

Perfect Getaway

This house has everything! It’s so cozy and clean, the kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs while the master bedroom was downstairs. Livingroom is very spacious, complimentary coffee as well as shampoo/conditioner was a great plus! The neighborhood is beautiful, short trip to Sedona and Flagstaff. Owner was very responsive and checked in regularly. If we make it back this way, we are definitely staying here again. Thanks Rich!

Cozy Home in a Perfect Location

First I'll start with Richard, the owner. He was amazing. Ultra helpful, great communication, and very friendly. Check in was seemless. Top notch. The location for us was perfect. It was less than 20 minutes from Flagstaff Snow Park and about a quarter mile away from a couple of trailheads for me and my boy to hike. The house is so nice. Cozy family feeling. Super clean. Had all the amenities that we needed. The kids room with toys and books and board games for our toddler was an added bonus. I couldn't have asked for anything more. If we ever stay in that area again, we'll definitely be going back. Was an overall excellent experience.

Spring Break 2024

My daughter and I took my son and a friend of his along with my granddaughter to this beautiful cabin/home for a beautiful weekend. It was such a wonderful weekend. We went hiking through the woods. We are at the local restaurant and we even took a 30 minute ride to the African Wildlife Zoo and also had an opportunity to go horseback riding. It was awesome. Can't wait to return. Very clean and had everything we needed. We even got to make smores on our last night.

It was fine.

I would imagine young children would like this house a lot. It is very nice. The living room is not really furnished for adults. We did have an uncomfortable time sitting on the extra wide couch that leaves your knees higher than your waist because it is so low to the ground, but we did choose it over the extremely large bean bag blob. Lovely fireplace advertised, but besides bringing your own wood, you will need to bring the fireplace tools also. The surroundings are beautiful. Outdoor space is almost nil here. The backyard is a small deck the size of the table on it, and the rest is unusable. You find your hammocks and firepit in the front yard where you feel on display a couple feet from the road. The amount of tree droppings and cobwebs on stuff showed that it had not been cleaned in quite a while and certainly not for our stay. Originally the owner sent the wrong code but was quick to respond when we contacted about being locked out. Our stay was fine. We would not stay here again because it did not seem to meet the Premier price they are charging.

Great family experience

My family enjoyed our time at this property. Our children from 7 to 6 months had plenty of room to play and sleep. Downstairs is very open and bedrooms are large. Office space was used for two weeks without complaints.

Great Family Vacation

My family and I stayed at Richard's place for the weekend. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, walking around the neighborhood and a easy trip to Flagstaff. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and the whole house was set up great to have kids.

The Perfect Getaway BOOK NOW!

This was my first time booking a VRBO and the greatest experience. Our host Richard made it so easy and so caring to make sure we were ok in addition to his thoughtfulness with fresh cinnamon bread upon our arrival. His beautiful cabin is exactly what everyone needs. It had everything plus so cozy. The beds and couch was so comfortable. Munds Park is also a really cute town with the kindness and most helpful people. We loved the coffee shop and the convenient stores had everything we needed. If your looking for a romantic getaway or a beautiful time with your family BOOK THIS CABIN.

Great hideaway cabin centrally located.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. It was an easy trip to Sedona and Flagstaff, plus we made a day trip to the Grand Canyon. It’s a great property for a family seeking to slow things down.

Quiet and Comfy

This is a lovely cottage in a wooded area with nearby hiking trails. the cottage was clean and well equipped, and the host was super helpful. The fresh bread was a bonus!
