This clean, comfortable cabin in the woods is almost completely out of view from other homes, making for an especially secluded getaway. Yet it's just a 15 min drive from one of the most beautiful, clean sandy beaches on this giant lake. Or rent your own boat at Catfish Bay Marina, just 23 mins away, and visit The Islands, an equally beautiful place to relax in the sand. 6 min drive to Gringo's Mexican Restaurant & Dollar General, 8 mins to live music and food at Ollie's Juke Joint and Cafe, 15 mins to other restaurants in Kingston like Gecko's (try the sopapillas!), or just 18 min to the Walmart Supercenter in Madill, in case you forgot anything. In just 23 mins, you can even drive over into Texas to one of the best lakeside bar & grill venues Texoma has to offer, Pelican's Landing, at Cedar Mills Marina.

We loved the rustic area. It was really quiet and secluded from busy roads. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the owner had everything you could imagine needing, including movies, games and more. We loved the covered front porch with outdoor lighting in the trees. Made it extra cozy! The bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of striper fishing. While it was just two of us, it could easily accommodate up to 6 or 8 people with the 2 futons in the living room and 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, huge table and washer / dryer. The owner gave us several ideas for good local restaurants, places to go and things to do. We loved Geckos Mexican and BG’s Catfish Buffet, and the Country Kitchen for breakfast. The owner emailed several times which was nice. Everything was exactly like the pictures. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come for a fishing trip.

Nice and comfy cabin. Plenty of space, very clean, comfortable beds and so relaxing! We really enjoyed the front porch area to sit and enjoy being in nature. Where the cabin is located is only a couple of miles from the marina where we met our striper fishing guide also. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay so all we had to bring was food and drinks.

Little weekend getaway

House is adorable, loved the porch and outside, kitchen is stocked! Even had oil and Tylenol! Very thankful for both lol. We played many rounds of uno at the beautiful dinning table

Wooded Home

Property is lovely, sits back in the woods a wee bit, end of a country road. It’s a little bit away from town; but smack dab in the middle of both Madill and Kingston. The home is roomy, clean and tidy. The access is easy just off the highway. I would stay there again. I went for work, and rest and was able to do both.

Memorial for our parents.

It was a very clean beautiful place to stay. Very reasonably priced. Host was very nice and interacted as needed. We enjoyed it very much. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay!

We went for a fishing trip to Lake Texoma and chose this cabin because or the coziness! This cabin turned out to be perfect! The cabin was clean, well equipped, and very nice. Our host was easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend checking this one out!!

Wonderful stay

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hidden Cabin in the Woods. Everything inside was spotless. All amenities were as described and made the stay very comfortable. Hint-the hairdryer is in a drawer under the sink in the master bathroom. Took me awhile to find it! We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the comfy chairs, listening to the birds singing in the trees. Grill was available outside the back door although we didn't use it. Highly recommend this property for a pleasant comfortable stay close to the lake.

Widows retreat.

We liked that it was private but not too far away from people.My phone wouldn’t work so I couldn’t leave the host a message as to what time we were leaving and that we really enjoyed our stay.

Memorial Day fun

Great little place! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Loved the front porch sitting area! Clean home and good working AC. A few issues: there was little to no cellular service for making calls/sending texts. Property is at the end of an unpaved road and we were unaware- dirt in/on boats was not what we were expecting. Lastly, difficult to manage big boat in gravel driveway due to large trees and narrow path, though plenty of car parking space. Wifi is limited to 30gb for weekend stay. We missed these things being mentioned in the listing. Overall we still had a good time and were truly able to disconnect! Ha!

Hidden Gem

My wife and I rented this place for our honeymoon. My wife fell in love just pulling in the drive. Plenty of room for our boat and amenities galore. We did go the the grocery store but that was so we didn't have to leave again. The boat dock is only 7 minutes away and we were there every single day. Loved the front porch, morning coffee, listening to the song birds. We will definately be back! (sooner rather than later)

Lake bums..great place close to the boat ramp

Clean place and no issues leaving our toys alone there while we went to the casino and restaurants nearby. Hosts are awesome 👌

Lake Texoma stay

The cabin was very nice. The porch, and outside lights were very pleasant. Everything worked as it was supposed to. WiFi worked great. The only thing I wish was different is the Queen size beds could have been King size.

Very pleased

This house was just as described. My husband and I along with another couple stayed two nights here. We were here at Lake Texoma for a guided fishing trip and this was the perfect place. We loved that it was so peaceful and relaxing. Wished we could have stayed longer. I would recommend staying here to everyone!

Fantastic Stay

Fabulous house with modern comforts and accessible to the nature around it. We spent almost the entire time on the huge deck and enjoyed the grill, the lights, and the sounds of nature. You can’t go wrong staying here. The beds are comfortable and the showers are clean. Do yourself a favor, visit Texoma and enjoy all it has to offer. When you do book THIS home and you’ll feel like you are home away from home.

You can stop looking, You've just found your next secluded getaway.

To start, the communication from the very beginning was some of the best we've encountered in all of our years of booking with VRBO (since 2003). The property is secluded, private, except for the birds and cicadas, it was quiet and peaceful. Nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen made the stay really nice to share with our best friends. Easy drive to Lake Texhoma and several restaurants along with a new Chargriller Grill in the backyard provided several satisfying meals for the 3 days we spent. TV's in 4 rooms of the house, and both bedrooms having the ability to have direct access to their own bathrooms was a nice touch, The owners were very informative and helpful before, during, and after our stay along with being open to suggestions to improve future stays made us want to go back again and again. Just do yourself and your friends a favor and book this property before it gets to popular to book it. Terry & Paige Gooch

COZY GETAWAY

This home was beautiful, my group of 4 went away to celebrate a best friends 54th bday whose special request was only to get away near some water and casino and thats exactly what this location provided us to do. The house was well equipped with all the essentials you needed even a few condiments but not too many so i advise you to stop at the store an bring the things you would love to have due to the roads being so long an the stores an eatery not being just on your average corner but there is a restaurant around the corner located on the lake which has awesome food, other eateries, walmart an dollar generals a few miles along the way. The beds wer very comfy as the 2 futons wer also. We also enjoyed mornings drinking coffee on the porch an making smores around the firepit although the back area was too wooded an nothing to see we enjoyed the front just perfect. this neighborhood is very quiet the home is located on a long dark rd so my only request to the owners is that they leave the lights on once renters book the property because its pitch black if you arrive after dark as we did 🤔 but all an all this is the coziest layed back quiet place you would ever enjoy when your just wanting to relax an chill from city life..... Thanks to chris & mendy with such a beautiful home we had a cozy trip and they where available for our every need although we needed nothing 😄 just an awesome cozy getaway my bestie said it was exactly what she needed and gives you a five star, we will visit again...THANK YOU
