Joe Walker was the first white settler in the valley area now known as "Walkers Creek" the lodge is located in the hollow where Joe Walker built his home, although the exact location of his home is unknown. The Lodge at Joe Walker Hollow is a very private and secluded get away, miles of pristine wooded trails to walk.
