Great House! Great Stay! Crazy Vacation!
Our two-day vacation quickly became a seven-day adventure. We were guests during one of the largest snow storms to hit Lake Arrowhead. Lake Arrowhead had 11 ft of snow in seven days. The town basically could not function because the roads were full of snow.
The house was not only well maintained and well equipped, but it served as our sanctuary during a difficult time. The house has a backup generator that turns on if power is lost. It had a nice washer and dryer, and plenty of games and media options. We were able to BBQ out back during the blizzard. We never were without power and our children never knew there was a problem. There was plenty for us to do.
Vincent, the property owner communicated with us on a regular basis to ensure we had enough food and supplies. He was very helpful throughout our extended stay.
I can honestly say that without the house being sound and well equipped, we could have had a nightmare of a vacation. Instead, the kids had a blast! We look forward to staying again this summer.
