Kids & pups are welcome to our warm, inviting space The cabin has a magical quality that wraps you in its embrace. And it's one of the venues where notorious mobster Bugsy Siegel once housed his "girls." History lives here! You can drink coffee on the back deck listening to the sounds of the stream below or at night, you can use our telescope to look at the stars an dream. The village is right on the lake, five minutes away and has restaurants and shops and., in the summer, concerts.

I am an LA based actor and theatre teacher. You can look me up on IMDB, if you like. I've done lots of TV. Currently I also teach children on the set. Chicago is my home town and I miss it every day. The hubby and I have four grown children and two grandchildren. I bought this home 20 years ago when I was a single mother of one. It was perfect for my daughter and I and we came up every weekend. But, well, I remarried and with his three kids, the house was too small for us. But my daughter loves the place and Arrowhead and forbids me to sell. But it is a much beloved cabin and my only listing.

Secluded but near everything. Cedar Glen is one mile away and has a grocery store and a fabulous breakfast/lunch restaurant. The village is five minutes away with the lake and the top notch restaurants and shops, the resort and beach. The lake is private but access can be arranged, just ask. Heaps Peak Arboretum is five minutes up the 18 with its gorgeous 1.5 mile walk. Watch the seasons change!

It is simply adorable. Many folks step in and gasp at the charm. There is a gurgling stream below the back deck (the gurgle changes with the season, more rain more gurgle. It is romantic and the perfect place to finish that book you've been meaning to write.
