Meadow Retreat is a gorgeous two story home nestled in a beautiful 1.5+ lot off North Shore with privacy and a gorgeous views. Stunning vaulted ceilings, massive windows w/expansive views, and custom styling makes this home a show stopper. Lots of great space for entertaining and gathering. Home has a rec room with Ping Pong table and a theater room with power reclining movie chairs, popcorn machine and drinking fountain! Outdoors there is a spacious patio overlooking the meadow and abundant wildlife with beautiful sunsets. Relax by the firepit or grill and enjoy dinner on the deck off the living area. This is a perfect peaceful getaway that will feel just like home!

Wonderful stay

Property was everything that our family needed. Beautiful view out of the backyard, plenty of bedrooms for our family of 5, and pets allowed with a fenced in space for them to run and play. Communication with home owners was exceptional. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautifully upgraded home.

Gorgeous Home with a View!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home this past week. Jason and his wife are amazing hosts and everything in the home was perfectly decorated and ready to enjoy a winter wonderland vacation. Would love to rent this home again!!! Peaceful and Spacious

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this house. It's a beautiful home with amazing views! We very much enjoyed watching 10 deer cross through the yard every evening. The home is spacious and inviting. The ping pong table and theater area were a bonus for us! Our visit was just the peaceful retreat we needed. Thank you to the owners!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience so future guests can make an informed decision.Unfortunately, the property did not match the expectations set by the listing photos and reviews. We encountered multiple cleanliness concerns throughout our stay, including bathrooms and bathtubs that appeared dirty and not properly maintained. There were also several deferred maintenance issues that gave the home an overall neglected feel.One of the biggest disappointments was discovering that the lower-level bathroom was unfinished and unusable, which was not something we expected based on the listing. In addition, the downstairs bedroom was extremely cold due to a significant temperature imbalance in the home, making it very uncomfortable to use as a sleeping space.The location itself may work well for some travelers, but had these conditions been accurately represented in the listing, we would have chosen a different property. We shared our concerns with the host and VRBO, but ultimately decided to relocate during our trip.I would encourage future guests to ask detailed questions about the condition of the property and confirm that all advertised bedrooms and bathrooms are fully functional before booking.

ThIs review is absolutely absurd. All our previous guests revIews contradict what you are implyIng. You are retaliating because you had a change of plans and didn’t get a refund. Your representation of this beautiful home is completely out of line. In fact, if you read the review from the guest that checked out the day you checked in they Reviewed how clean the house was and impeccable. First of all, you took a picture of a toilet in our utility room and it was implying it was a bathroom. The tubs were cleaned and disinfected that day. They were slightly discolored from some hard water that temporarily happened. In addition, it was 90° that day and you ran the air conditioner nonstop. Heat rises. Of course the basement is going to be cooler than two floors up. We would’ve came and remedied any situation, but you did not want that because you wanted money and not a remedy. Your embellishments and manipulation is extremely wrong. I would warn any host to not rent to you…

Gorgeous sweeping views from many windows

We had a wonderful week. The house is beautiful, very quiet and relaxing. One day it snowed. Breathtaking to relax in the living room surrounded by huge windows watching the snow turn the view into a magical wonderland. The location feels like it is remote, but it’s actually only a short drive to downtown Forest Lake. Fenced in area was a perfect bonus, since we brought the dog. Great location to serve as a base to visit family and friends in the twin cities. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to stay! The view from the living room was breathtaking! There was plenty of room for 7 adults! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook together. Our host was welcoming and quick to answer any questions. We would love to stay again!!

Haydays and Viking game with family

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The location for was perfect for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and the view of the wetlands are amazing. The house is very clean and the beds were comfortable. My only regret is we didn’t have more time to enjoy the house. I would highly recommend this home.
