Not your typical mountain cabin. This is our updated and well furnished Clayton Cabin.

2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom cottage in Clayton, N. Georgia! Just off Hwy 76 and close to Downtown Clayton, our Cottage is probably one of the nicest most updated cottages you will visit; in one of our favorite mountain towns, CLAYTON! It's not just a rental, it's where we like to escape too. Completely remodeled inside and out, sits just on top of the hill off Hwy 76 - which takes you to Lake Burton, Hiawassee, Helen, Downtown Clayton and more. Central AC and Heat, New paint, new floors, new everything, including kitchen supplies.

Everything you will need in the kitchen, even a Kitchen Aid Mixer. Plates, Dishes, Glasses, Brew Coffee and Kcup coffee. Utensils, Woks, Frying Pans... you name it. Queen size beds in both rooms, leather reclining couches with USB ports in living room (kids love sleeping on them) and room for an air mattress (we left one there for you) all new appliances, a 50+ inch flat screen TV with Hulu in Living Room and TV in Master and BlueRay Dvd player. Free Wifi throughout, even small office space and extra work from vacation home supplies (printer, keyboard, monitor - PC, not Mac)


Full size stacked washer and dryer in master bedroom just behind the sliding barn door which leads to the full bath and shower. In hall find another full bath and 2nd amply sized guest bedroom.

Roast some marshmallows, sure - go ahead, there is a small fire pit out back too! We love our cottage and we hope it shows when you visit and you will love it too. Great for families, hikers, couples, wine country explorers, antiquers, or just those looking to get away but do so comfortably - this is the spot for you.

NO SMOKING HOME (owners highly allergic) - Smoking in home or smoke entering home will result in additional charges. Pets / Service Animals may be considered with additional deposit.

THIS IS NOT A HOME FOR LONG TERM RENTALS - Rental periods up to 7 to 21 days okay. NO LONG TERM Beyond that. Thanks for understanding, we use this as our vacation spot too.

We booked this place last minute and couldn’t have been happier. The home was cozy, very clean, and conveniently close to town. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, which made everything easy. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and making s’mores, it brought some much-needed cheer during a stressful holiday season. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location! This cottage was easy to locate, even in the dark after visiting family up the mountain. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was, making it easy to cook meals at the cottage, rather than eating out. There were tons of games to play, books for reading if you wanted to do so, and the closets are huge! No tripping over suitcases or other belongings with closets as big as these! The one in the main bedroom is almost big enough to park a car inside! The reclining sofas are nice, as was the organization efforts put into maximizing the space. My wife really was impressed with the vanity inside the closet for her to get ready and not have to block others from the bathroom sink.

Cute place to stay. Pay attention to directions when first finding it, don't follow Google maps.Like how close it was to town and within driving distance of beautiful waterfalls and overlooks. Great food in town. Down side: Cow smell from across the street sometimes when on the porch and main road noise was a bit busy than expected

Well stocked and convenient.

The neighbors were a bit concerning. But we were out and about most of the time. The front door lock didnt always lock when we left. But nothing seemed disturbed when we returned. So its ok!

Lovely Cozy Cottage

This cozy cottage was beautifully decorated and impecably furnished with everything one would need. A perfect place to snuggle up with your partner or a bestie. Have your morning coffee on the front porch with a view of the mountains. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. Great place!

Wonderful Christmas Getaway

The whole family was amazed upon arrival. The cottage was very beautiful and tastefully furnished. It had everything provided for a wonderful stay over the Christmas holidays. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the Clayton/Helen area.

Annual Cousin's Trip

The cottage was comfortable and in a great location. We were close to Clayton and in an easy distance to several great wineries. Very thorough directions made locating the cottage easy. The only drawback for us was the small bar in the kitchen which served for an eating area. It was too small for assembling jigsaw puzzles, so we had to purchase some foam board to create a larger surface. There was a good assortment of puzzles--but a card table to use in putting them together would have been helpful. The bar was well lighted, so the area worked well after covering it with two pieces of foam board.

Amazing property!

Our family loved this property! The Host was great with communication as well. The location is easily accessible to many of the surrounding parks and attractions. The home is exceptional! Very clean and comfortable. Makes you feel right at home. We would highly recommend!

Perfect Fall Getaway

The cottage is immaculate and quite comfortable. It's close to a lot of good things - places to eat, Foxfire Museum, and Tallulah Gorge. We drove to Helen and enjoyed the leaves on the way, and visited Hardman Farms while there. Andrew was very helpful.

Great Stay

This stay initially was to be a girls get away with a high school friend but Hurricane Helene got in the way and my friend lived too far to chance not getting gas to get home. We stayed here last year and really enjoyed the cottage. So my husband and I live only an hour's drive away and decided to go and stay as the cottage had power and we didn't. Clayton is a neat little town as well. It was a nice visit.

A very nice, comfortable home, nicely appointed and a convenient location. Unfortunately, we were there during Hurricane Helene, lost power for 6-8 hours and never regained phone and internet service. Not at all owner's fault, and considering the devastation Helene caused nearby areas, we were blessed

Wonderful place to stay , very well.stocked . We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching cows. Once we found it loved the location to town and other areas near by. Even though we live only 30inutes north it felt like we were farther away. We loved jist siting on the reclining sofas and just chilling . We loved our stay and hop3 to return on the future . Excellent stay in Clayton

This cottage was great for our family of four for 5 nights away. Very close to downtown Clayton. And also very easy to get to Tallulah Gorge, Angel Falls, and Black Rock Mountain. The cottage is very well stocked and maintained and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay.

Perfect little get-away home

The home in Clayton is wonderful! Perfect for 4 adults (or family of 4). House was clean, well-stocked (one of the best stocked homes I have ever stayed in), easy access to and from towns (and lake). The beds were great, in fact my son's girlfriend said her bed was one of the most comfortable beds she has ever slept in! Wouldn't hesitate to stay in the home again. The host was very responsive and so helpful. Wonderful home!

This is our family vacation home to the mountains. After looking for 3+ years, we settled on Clayton, because we love it there. Great place for kids, family, and adventures. A great vibrant downtown, and all the creature comforts: Wal Mart, Ingles, Starbucks, etc. But you can go Downtown and throughout area for one of a kind eats, drinks, and shopping. We fell in love with this house for its proximity and ease to get to. And its completly redone inside and out.

Close to Downtown Clayton without being IN downtown. Just off the main road - so you wont get lost! All remodeled. Easy drive to downtown, other locales, the lakes, it's away from all, but not out in the boonies!

Fully stocked kitchen. All new appliances. All new floor, bedding, furniture and more. This is a true getaway but not miss out on feeling like this is a home you WANT to stay at. Classy, Comfy, Modern! WE love our house and hope you enjoy it too. Free Wifi, Great location, awesome views from patios.
