Welcome to “Hawks Ridge”, your home away from home. Our luxury cabin is private and secluded yet close to all the exciting attractions and activities in the Smokies. We have large deck with INCREDIBLE views but you won't see our neighbors. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and 2800sf for spreading out, you'll have more than enough space for you and your family/group. Come enjoy the solitude & peace!

Great place, Great view

Really good overall. Nice cabin great viewsThe only constructive suggestions would be that the cleaning service could do a better job between guests, for dead bugs in particular. The kitchen cooking pots/pans/etc need to be replaced and the city trash never picked up the previous guests trash and the Bear proof cage was full when we got there.Otherwise its a nice place to stay!

Annual Mountain Trip

This year we wanted to spend time in the Great Smoky Mountains and enjoy the fall color there. We found this home on VRBO and decided the location and description was just what we needed. It did not disappoint! The home is beautiful, with comfortable beds and seating, and a million- dollar view of the mountains. The location was secluded and quiet. We loved this home.

Amazing views and owners

The cabin was wonderful and as advertised. The views were stunning. The cabin was clean and updated. The appliances were spotless and newer. We couldn’t see any neighbors so it felt secluded. We could hear the neighbors occasionally but was not intrusive.

Amazing location! Clean, quiet, serene!!

The hosts were wonderful. They accommodated my family last minute. Quick response, super helpful, great to work with. We loved the location and cabin was perfect. The arcade game, Foosball and hot tub were used by the whole family daily! The views were breathtaking. If I could give 10 stars I would.

The View

Very enjoyable vacation. The view was captivating and like the weather it changed every 15 min. Sun to clouds then watching the rain rolling through the valley. Sunday morning could see snow frosted mountain tops.

Closer to Heaven

WOW.WOW.WOW. Not enough words to express the memories made and fun our family had during our Smoky Mountain vacation! The cabin was just simply awesome - clean, private, roomy and best of all…..that MILLION DOLLAR VIEW!!! We would definitely rent this cabin again!!

Beautiful view

We were so impressed with the view of Mount LeConte and enjoyed the peaceful time we spent on the deck in the rocking chairs. The view from inside was great as well. The cabin was spacious and very comfortable and the response was quick when we had questions. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Family vacation

The most hospitable hosts I have had in all my years coming down here! Property is perfect for 2 families or 3 couples, not far from activities, relaxing private view. Property owners will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable and are very responsive when there are questions.

Cabin was easy to find using Google maps, easy access, cabin was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The kids loved the pool table, hot tub & arcade game. Host always answered any questions in a timely manner.

Majestic Mountain Views

This was a great getaway location. Peaceful & secluded with an amazing view of the mountains. Loved the keyless entry and no check in/out process. We were able to drive right to the cabin and begin relaxing. The owners had great communication and checked in on us during our stay to ensure everything was top notch. Thank you for a much needed relaxing stay, we will definitely be back to enjoy this property again.

Weekend in the Woods

At first when you arrive to the property it’s like you’re on top of the world and miles away from anything. Except you are actually minutes away from everything. Very private, quiet, and yet in the heart of everything you could want. Stayed 5 days and enjoyed every bit of it. We will definitely be back.

Home away from home

This house was gorgeous! Amazing views, local to everything we wanted, gatlinburg, pigeon forge, Dollywood! The house was clean, the beds were comfy! Very relaxing place! We also enjoyed the privacy of the cabin! This is a good place to rent the hosts were very personable checked in on us making sure everything was up to par! Look forward to staying here again in the future! Thanks again!

Our second trip since march

This was our second trip to this property since march. We came back because it was the best place hands down in the Smokey mountains. We will continue coming to this property it’s absolutely breathtaking views and secluded. My kids didn’t want to leave. Perfect location and property manager is so easy to work with and is attentive to any questions. Don’t miss out on this one!

Not clean and fireplace nonworkable

There were several areas not clean, used soap on tub. Deodorant in bathroom floor and hair in tubs and sinks. Fireplace did not work. One thing my girls wanted was to watch Christmas movies with hot chocolate next to fireplace but that didn’t happen. Took host 24 to reply each time we wrote. It does have beautiful views from porch.

Out of the way and up high

The perfect mountain top perch. We had to work hard to see other properties. We stayed there with 2 adult children and one of their spouses. My wife and I got the first choice of bedrooms and it was a really hard choice. All 3 had great features and would have been super, so everyone had something special in their private wings/floors. Nice big living room and deck so that we could watch TV on the cold rainy day, but still see all the majestic fog moving through the canyons. We held our Thanksgiving feast there. All the appliances worked well and the Turducken was great. It is a bit far out to get to town and trails, but I would not have traded the quiet solitude and fantastic views for 5 minutes less in the car.

Beware

Not even sure where to start! I guess the view was nice and the sunset was a bonus. However, the cabin was dirty. We couldn’t even use the hot tub as it was grimey and had someone else’s hair on the side of it. Trash was littered around the property. The host called the cops at 1230am stating we weren’t supposed to be there. Set up was odd and the cabin was not at all appointed. Very disappointing and a waste of money. Owner didn’t seem to care when I brought this to his attention. :(

Unbelievable Views

I can’t express enough that this cabin by far exceeded my expectations the view was phenomenal in the perfect location everything was exactly as listed. I will be coming back to the same place every year. I didn’t want to leave and neither did my kids. Perfect for multiple families and kids. The game room was a hit with the kids and is downstairs so you can relax while the kids play. The multi level wrap around porch was breathtaking and had double swings. The hot tub was brand new and perfect for late night relaxing in a covered private area with Mountain View’s. The host was great they communicated with me promptly before check in but I honestly didn’t need anything after that because everything was perfect. I wouldn’t miss out on this one it’s close to everything and secluded. Can’t wait to book for the winter break!!

Outdated pictures not accurate

Very unimpressed with property . Photos were outdated by years and did not accurately reflect condition of cabin. Upon arrival , the air conditioning was broken and the cabin was 82 plus degrees inside. As nice as the owner was, struggled to get him to get the ac fixed. Tried to push it off for the next day, finally got it working at 10pm and the cabin cooled off after midnight the first day. The grass in the back yard looked nothing like pictured and had not been mowed since the beginning of summer. Grass over 2 feet tall with weeds over 5 feet tall reaching up to the lower deck. Paid to bring my dogs and took 2 days to get the grass taken care of. Leaves from the fall still piled up on the driveway, flowerbeds full of weeds and needing trimmed. Most of the exterior landscape lightings broken or missing. Front door latches and seals poorly. Had water leaking through the ceiling of one of the bathrooms and water puddle on basement floor coming in through window after rain. Main deck exterior door frame rotted away and fresh paint slapped over it. Wifi repeaters broken and unfunctional so internet access was useless. Cabin was not properly cleaned, dusty and even found a ball of hair in one of the bathtubs. Towel bar was broken and missing from master bedroom and glass shelf was halfway ripped off the wall in the master. Many burnt out light bulbs and miss matched regular and led bulbs with different color temperatures. Owner lives in California and likely has never personally seen the property. Property was not worth the nightly rate . The most disappointing part was a bunch of overgrown trees not even in the pictures obstructing the beautiful view that sold us on the booking. Save your money and look elseware.

Very disappointed

I have to commence my review for the title of the property. Luxury means luxury, you can’t name luxury property when the basic accommodations are not available, with only 3 beds and one small sofa beds, linens for only 3 beds, few bath towels you can’t list a property for 12 persons. Lack of kitchen utensils, only two trash bags provide,poorly cleaned, dirty carpets,, let’s now mention the security issues we found. Missing smoke detector in the kitchen, (removed from the base ), fire extinguisher expired, exterior terrace floors slippery, a lot of windows damaged ( dos not hold open).And a lot of more details like poor lighting in the game area, wifi is not available most of the time, or very slow when available.Furniture need to be updated or at least deep cleaned. Our personal experience. Arrived late evening December 28, water heater wasn’t working, contacted the host and after a long conversation and I refused to fix it as the host requested he sent some one to review the heater and found it was damaged and need to be replaced, note the technician arrived around 1.30 am and we had to stay awake waiting for him as instructed by the host,for the meantime he reset it to have water heater at least until it fails again ,of course no one in my family can take a shower our first night, next day my wife washing the comforter she found trough in the closet floor ,noticed the washing machine was leaking water to the floor, immediately we had to grab one of our own bath towels and collect the water, called the host again for report this issue and he blamed us for this.Send the cleaning lady, again late night, in this case not to fix the washing machine but to make a report to the hose ,She promised next day early morning she will bring clean lines and towels, Note we can feel the perfume used by the previous guests, and she smelled it too,meaning the bedroom linens wasn’t washed . I encourage the host to refund me the two days left on the reservation. We left the property next day around 10.30 am and the cleaning company never show up , we only received refund the amount for 2 nights, not the taxes and service paid for those nights, now we received a bill through VRBO from the host for the service call for the water heater and the washing machine. My recommendation, stay away of this property, otherwise you vacation will be a unforgettable bad experience.
