Welcome to Gatlinburg Mountain Heaven Retreat
Welcome to Gatlinburg Mountain Heaven Retreat, a pet-friendly 3-bedroom log cabin nestled in the wooded hills just outside Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Whether you are planning a family vacation, a weekend with friends, or a mountain escape for a group, this cabin has every comfort covered, from a private hot tub and game room to a propane fire pit and stone fireplace. Sleeps up to 9.

A Great Room Built for Gathering
The open great room is anchored by a soaring stone fireplace and filled with warm knotty pine walls, hardwood floors, and a flatscreen smart TV. Plush sofas and recliner chairs invite everyone to settle in, and the vaulted ceiling with ceiling fan keeps the space comfortable year-round. The open layout flows effortlessly into the dining area, where an 8-person solid wood table sits beneath a chandelier, and into the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a Keurig and drip coffee maker station ready to fuel your mornings.

Room to Rest
The cabin offers 2 primary king suites, one on each level, for space and privacy. Each suite has a flatscreen TV and a private bathroom; the upper suite features a tiled walk-in shower, while the lower suite has a tub and shower combo. A third bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed and TV is the perfect retreat for younger guests, and a powder room on the main level adds extra convenience for the full group.

Game On
The lower-level game room is the destination for friendly competition. Rack up on the full-size pool table, face off on the air hockey table, and catch the game on the flatscreen TV. A bar with stools rounds out the space, giving everyone a spot to hang out between rounds.

Your Outdoor Paradise
Step outside and you will find multiple outdoor areas designed for relaxing and enjoying the natural mountain setting. The private hot tub sits on a covered deck with a mounted flatscreen TV, so you can soak and stream at the same time. The upper deck is furnished with rocking chairs and a porch swing, perfect for slow mornings and starlit evenings. On the lower level, a covered patio offers a picnic table and additional seating, and a propane fire pit with Adirondack chair seating sits on a paver patio in the wooded yard. A charcoal grill, cornhole boards, and a spacious lawn round out the outdoor fun.

The Area
Gatlinburg Mountain Heaven Retreat puts you close to the best of the Smoky Mountains. Downtown Gatlinburg, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Dollywood, Anakeesta, and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all a short drive away, with plenty of hiking trails, shops, restaurants, and attractions to fill every day of your stay.

Very nice cabin and would stay again. A little disappointed that the Fire place didn’t work and maintenance was unable to fix. 😕 Also fire pit did not have any propane and ping pong table missing net. Over all had a great stay. Need sheets, pillows, and blankets designated for sofa bed.

Cabin was nice but the road to the cabin is one lane and very narrow. and it was suppose to be for two way traffic.

Great vacation spot

Minor inconveniences upon the first day, but was resolved with a quick phone call and a maintenance visit the next day! Communication was great with Smoky Vistas. Rental spot was nice and secluded with many activities to do close by. We even had some visitors (momma and bear cub) one of the nights we stayed! My family and I loved our stay.

Great Cabin for Gatlinburg

Great Cabin for a Gatlinburg Getaway. The house is a great size and has a great outdoor patio and seating areas. We had some issues with cleanliness of the hot tub and a house and issues with the TVs (Online only - no satellite) but the management team answered all of our calls even on Thanksgiving. This is a great spot to enjoy all parts of Gatlinburg without having to be right in the rush of the town.

We have stayed in SEVERAL cabins in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and this cabin ranks among the top 3! It had everything we look for in a cabin....cleanliness, space, easy access to town, pool table, hot tub, pet friendly with yard area, comfortable beds, etc. The location does not have mountain views but it is very quiet and peaceful. You don't have neighbors right on top of you.We had a perfect weekend!

Beautiful home. Everyone had their own bathroom which was great, in a private neighborhood with lots of privacy. Kids loved the game room and hot tub, we loved the porch with rocking chairs, and fire pit area down below. Close to downtown gaitlinburg. As others have mentioned there was heavy scratching/staining of the living room floor. This didn’t affect our stay at all.

Overall we really enjoyed the cabin. The only problem we had was a PVC pipe kept banging against the wall day & night. Most of the family left a day earlier because it kept them up the majority of the night. There were also black worms in the tile shower.

It was a beautiful cabin and we had a great time, perfectly located. Some things i would clarify or update would be that the air hockey is only for little children and not adults. Pool cues need to be replaced as their ends are either missing or are in bad shape. Some Bean toss bags need to be replaced.Took several tries to enter door each day. Overall it was a great place and i would stay again

The property was secluded and quiet and overall a good place to stay. The house itself had a few cosmetic issues like the floors in the living room were so scratched that I thought they were dirty and the couches felt grimy. The outside area at the fire pit had trash all around. We picked up what we immediately saw. The hot tub was nice and the game room downstairs was a huge hit with everyone. The issues we had didn't hinder our stay in any way and we were overall comfortable. I would suggest maybe more blankets for the beds as it was really chilly during our stay.

Family vacation

Everything was good except in the kitchen the dishwasher leaked on the right side there is a crack in the door there,the refrigerator had water laying on the shelves alot doesn't seem like it sealed good. The top door on the stove is really loose..someone used some kind of marker and wrote on the living room floor...need a fan upstairs to use it gets warm up there but the basement freezes if u turn air conditioner up...i probably won't be renting that place again.

Overall enjoyable

The cabin itself is cute and secluded while being a quick drive to all the attractions. However, it does paint a different picture in the listing. Feels less mountain, more woodsy. Cleanliness needed work. Cobwebs all over the exterior, stained old furniture and scuffed floors inside. Most of the things in the game room were missing items. (Missing pool ball, missing ping pong balls, missing badminton birdie.) Lastly the filtration system makes a loud noise periodically that can be annoying at night. Overall my family enjoyed being on vacation together and the cabin was nice despite the things i pointed out. Not a bad price for location and overall experience.

Clean but outdated

The cabin is very outdated the photos posted make it look in much better condition. Those photos had to be taken years ago. It was clean which i appreciate however they really should update the photos to show what it truly looks like. There’s also a TON of loud noises from the plumbing, AC , hot tub etc. it was really annoying especially when you’re trying to sleep. The beds also need updated they were very uncomfortable. If you plan on cooking anything make sure to bring everything because they have no salt, pepper seasonings etc. They also give you very few paper products so bring extra toilet paper, paper towels etc. Overall it’s an okay cabin it is very big & was clean but needs lots of improvements.

I gave this house 2 stars because it advertises sleeps 9. This is inaccurate, you can sleep 4 adults and a few kids at max comfortably. But it you have anymore than 5 maybe 6 adults it’s going to be uncomfortable. They have some kind of problems with their air conditioner so don’t plane on getting any sleep and they have a leaky dishwasher and leaky fridge. They don’t provide any towels for the kitchen so bring your own dish rags and laundry detergent. We had 2 forks for 8 people. But they did drop off more forks. No worries this did not spoil our trip we still had fun. I would not suggest this place to any friends.

Disappointed

Unfortunately there were quite a few issues with our stay. When we arrived at check in time we were given the wrong code for the door and could not get a hold of property manager for answers. There were no spare towels or blankets, not even sheets for the pull out couch. Three rooms had flickering light bulbs and batteries missing from remotes. The WiFi was also almost impossible to use. Bathrooms and floors were not appropriately cleaned. Garbage was left in the yard from previous people as well. Overall the cabin would have been great, if it was clean and had appropriate amenities.
