Excellent Pier Fishing house on the river, just north of the ICW and Matagorda Bay.
Fish off the pier or tie up your boat - pier has sink and cleaning table. There is a light for night fishing on the pier.
Relax on the screened upper or lower porch.
Open concept living room / kitchen that looks out onto the river. Fully furnished kitchen.
Quiet area of town.
Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths (1 king, 2 queen). Downstairs has 2 twins and bathroom with shower.
TV receives NBC and Fox channels. Also is able to get Netflix, Disney, etc. with your own login info.
The center of town is 1 mile away. The beach is a 10 minute drive.
Maximum of 4 vehicles and 8 people. No parties.

Beautiful Home & Location

While the team didn't get to stay at the home as much as they wanted, they enjoyed their stay tremendously. We were here for a fishing tournament in town. Mostly used the home for sleeping and visiting at night! Thank you - it was well appointed and absolutely lovely.

Perfect Setup

Clean, private, well-appointed house with a great location. Private dock, comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with all the right stuff for a seafood feast. And a kind host who communicates well. Really couldn’t ask for anything more - my family had an absolutely lovely stay!

Absolutely perfect

The home is in the perfect location in matagorda. We had a wonderful family weekend. The fishing was great and we got to relax on the dock and screened porches. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay

We have been coming to Matagorda for 20 years and have had all sorts of rentals. This one is the best. Right on the river and away from the bustle of River Road. Very quiet neighborhood, very comfortable, clean house in excellent condition. We had an issue finding it initially but the owner is a great communicator and we found it with their help. Screened in porch is a great addition, and proximity to Stanley's is a plus. We will definitely be back.
