Had a good stay. I had forgotten where the downstairs lights were located and Ken helped me find them. The cabin has all your basic needs. This is our second time staying in this cabin and we will be booking again soon. Great place!

The house was very clean and the AC was cold. Great finshing at night on the deck all the loghts outside worked good. The only thing I would say that isnt even a bad thing is that i forgot a universal BBQ great. The cooking great is wore out from many great meals and its the coast metal takes a beating down there. I normaly bring my own but i forgot it this time and nobody in Matagorda had one that i could find. Still cooked some great food though just had to imprvise a little but. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Went out for a weekend fishing trip. This place was in a great location. And lots of fish off the back pier. I would definitely be back.

Liked that it was so close to the beac

Enjoyed fishing on the pier, extra special because the fish were biting. Loved watching the boats go by. We didn’t cook because we were just there to relax so we fixed sandwiches and ate breakfast at Cassidy’s.

The property overall was great. Fishing is great. Ac cold tv great. Only suggest a small cabinet for guests to pace their groceries in. No cabinet or countertop available.cabinet

Good little cabin to stay in plenty of room for the family. Caught fish off the pier at night and overall had a great stay

Vacation on the river in Matagorda

Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. The dock light was nice, but did attract alot of bigs when on. FYI- the water has a bit of a sulfur smell, so we used bottled water for coffee. Parking was good and having an outdoor sink was nice when fishing on the dock to rinse off my hands. We used the hose to rinse of fishing poles and feet when we came back from the beach. All in all a great place to stay for the price.

Great Locale for access to Matagorda Water

Great location for access to Colorado, East bay, and the beach/surf. Apportioned well for fishermen. Comfortable sleeping arrangements! Great deck area. Would definitely stay there again.
