Perfectly located within walking distance from Summit East/Nordic Center and stunning hiking trails, this elegant log duplex seamlessly combines rustic charm with modern amenities to allow you to slip right into the vacation mindset. As soon as you step foot inside, you will be greeted by knotty wood accents, exposed ceilings, wonderful views through expansive windows, and an open-concept layout that will be perfect for entertaining larger groups with ease. After a full day of adventure, make your way back to home base and gather around the firepit to reminisce with loved ones. The chef of the group will love whipping up warm meals in the full kitchen! Plus, the free high-speed WiFi can allow for streaming movies or working from home if need be!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house was clean. But we didn't have enough warm water to take a shower (4 adults). So poor with kitchenware. Also couldn't use a grill because propane tank was empty.

Snow play get away

Great, cozy location next to ski hill. Kids had a blast at the tubing park. Place was spacious and beds were comfortable. Kitchen is a bit understocked, so I would recommend bringing the essentials that you will need. Had a great time!!

Disappointing and dirty. Maybe this place is only meant for winter stays when you can overlook a lot if you’re surrounded by snow, but going in the summer was a big mistake. Clearly no one has taken care of the property since the ski season. The dishwasher was disgusting, leaving a film on all glasses (mind you only 5 glasses provided) and silverware. We ended up buying paper plates and plastic silverware to use. None of the ceiling fans worked and only a couple of windows have screens so trying get some air circulation left you sleeping with the bugs. The internet was spotty and prevented us from working. There was a crack in the TV, not that it really mattered because the spotty internet made it impossible to watch anything. The pictures do not match the current furniture, which only provides seating comfortably for 3 people. Lastly, there was a weird wet spot on one of the bedrooms that was supposedly left by the previous guests. Vacasa refunded us the cleaning fees, but nobody helped with the fans and we were told nobody would come to clean the dishwasher. Also, it should be noted the entrance is on the right side. Arriving in the dark, there was minimal lighting and no indication where to enter. The area is cute with access to great hikes and lakes. We’ll definitely visit the area again, but never again in this cabin. Expecting “high end” cabin left us disappointed.

This place is nothing as advertised. When we checked in, no wifi, tv was broken, and no hot water. I called the number given and they had me climbing on top of chairs to search for the router, which I never found. The upstairs furniture in the picture was gone. All the photos are 100% inaccurate from what’s in there now. Multiple light bulbs out or just no light bulbs period. The kitchen horribly stocked. All the plates and glasses had chips in them. The owner showed up the second day (didn’t come and speak to us), and miraculously the wifi was “fixed”. Then we were told the hot water must be due to no propane. And of course, it being a weekend, no one could come out. So no hot water for FOUR DAYS. How do you clean the dishes? So I took a cold shower. The binder in the cabin had the wrong password for the wifi, mentioned to take trash out into grey bins by the garage. There were no grey bins. The worst part, they sent a “maintenance man” to come look at things. He was sketchy from the start. Two hours late, he grabbed a butter knife from the kitchen to break into the garage to fix the hot water problem. My guest had enough and asked him to leave. We did not feel safe at all. I took photos of everything. I demanded a refund. Still waiting on that.

Great space and location - Would definitely come again!

Really cool spot and nice place to stay. Could have provided some missing things: outdoor furnishings were incomplete, no trash bags provided, propane tank for bbq was empty, had to fold clean laundry and put away clean dishes on arrival. Also it ought to be noted that a portion of the house is not included in the rental, so pictures could be removed from slide deck for that part of the house.

Great cabin and location. Only issues we had were that none of the outlets worked in the master bedroom and we were not allowed to use the hot tub.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house seemed new and was very comfortable and spacious. The view of the mountains was awesome. The grill did not have any propane. The hot tub was not functional. We called the phone number provided to remedy these problems during normal business hours and there was no answer. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Disturbing: Survelliance Camera in House

Within 3 hours of our arrival we discovered a survelliance camera inside the house. We packed our belongings and have requested a full refund.

Great home and location!

This home has all the amenities needed. The location is great and centrally located to all activities in the area. Nice and cozy cabin winter vibes. Minus a few issues we had, that Vacasa made right in the end, I, in general, loved the home and would visit again.

Lovely unit

Be alert. We were not allowed access to the garage and the owner needs to provide wood for the wood stove. The pro pane fireplace is not enough to bring the temp up. After the house is warmed it will maintain it. Vacasa successfully worked with us on all other issues.

Great cabin trip

Took the four year old up to hopefully see some snow the first night it snowed about 6 to 8 inches the cabin itself was really really great the beds were extremely comfortable I would suggest washing your dishes before you eat off of them but that’s pretty typical for any VRBO we did run into one issue and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager and the owner they resolved it as quickly as they could. The hot tub seemed clean the deck is huge. Overall it was just a really great trip. I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

Virtual conferencing in style!

Went as a combo girls getaway & to do a virtual work conference, and this was the perfect spot! Amazing amenities, full kitchen (baked! cooked lots!), spectacular hot tub with mountain views, and unbelievably comfortable beds. So cozy and quiet! Will be back!!
