Come and enjoy the comfort and charm of this fully restored house, located in Aulnay-la-Rivière, in the green valley that gives rise to the Essonne.
The village is located 1h30 from the heart of Paris (accessible by the nearby A6 motorway or by the RER from Malesherbes and which takes you to the Gare de Lyon or Austerlitz). Fontainebleau and its castle are 35 minutes away by car. Staying in the nearby Seine-et-Marne, you can also appreciate the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte, why not take the opportunity for a hot air balloon baptism? Barbizon and its painters, Moret-sur-Loing and its waterfalls...
For the more sporty, the climbing sites of Larchant or the Augerville golf course are also nearby.
Less than 1 hour from the cottage: Orléans, superb city of Joan of Arc and its Loire Festivals, its architecture, the gateway to the Loire Valley Castles...
Heading further southwest, 45 minutes away: the Venice of the Gâtinais, Montargis, awaits you: a magnificent little town that will enchant you with its more than 200 bridges! The Gâtinais region is worth the detour and the stay, you will probably come back... but let's get back to the cottage:
in a choice of eco-responsible approach, the house and its exteriors are mainly furnished and decorated with second-hand objects. We also guarantee you cleaning and hygiene products that respect your health and the environment, Oeko-Tex certified household linen, of course selective sorting bins... even the pool water is non-chlorinated but only treated with salt!
We therefore offer a maximum capacity of 12 people, with the following distribution:
First floor: large entrance, old barn of 50 m² restored, sofas surrounding the wood stove (reserved for winter use), table football, many board games for all ages, readings, large TV of 190 cm diagonal, a spacious kitchen with large family table of 3 m by 1.10 m, new custom-made fitted kitchen, 90 cm induction cooker, M.O., dishwasher 16 covers, traditional and Nespresso coffee makers, large refrigerator, multi-function food processor, raclette machine, plenty of crockery, plenty of storage space. High chair. A bedroom with a double bed 140*190, a shower room, towel radiator, a separate toilet.
Upstairs: 4 bedrooms with double beds (3 beds 140*190 and one 160*200), 2 shower rooms, 2 separate toilets. Possibility of 2 additional beds in sofa beds. Travel cot.
RJ45 sockets in all rooms for those who need to work in peace.
Outside: private parking for 3 to 4 vehicles on the property.
Teak garden furniture, sun loungers. Heated swimming pool from June to September.
Petanque court, plant maze, provision of 2 boats to enjoy the Essonne river which borders the garden (private access) ...
Weekend rental: from Friday from 5pm to Sunday 3pm. Flat rate 1.000 €.
Bed linen and towels included. Cleaning included. All consumption charges included.
Washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron available beyond 3 nights booked.
