What we love most of Monica's house is its stunning view of the Bodega Bay where it meets the Pacific. You can see the surf line. It is situated in a golf community just 5 minutes drive to the south end of Bodega Bay where resaurants starts The hiking trail a few steps from the house leads you uphill to even more spectacular view. The house is very spacious, tastefully decorated, and super clean. You can smell the sea breath and the sunshine. The only complaint is that the architect strangely put a solid walll with fireplace between the main part of the living room and the million dollar view. So you have to walk around it to the viewing room to absorb the view. Part of the dining area though, enjoys a direct view. Monica's furnitures beckon you to stretch out or lay down on them. But they are mostly arrranged with their back to the view. I recommend rearranging them to face the view somehow. The master BR has a floor to ceiiling view of the water, the second BR is as spacious and has big window view of the hill behind the house. But the 3rd BR that we slept in is very small, no window, and no closet or drawers. We have to resort to the linen closet in the hallway across the large living room to spread our luggage and clothing. (There is actually a closet, but it is locked) Bathrooms are standard size, and the half bath is really good to have for a party of 6 like ours. All in all, we absolutely enjoy this house and highly recommend it.
