Windjammer lane is found just a short drive North from the Saint Augustine historical district, and a short walk from the beach. Enjoy casual to fine dining, outstanding shopping, and wonderful site seeing in the nations oldest city. The rich history of Saint Augustine welcomes you with attractions like the Fountain of Youth, The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, The Colonial Quarter, St. George Street, and even the Alligator Farm!
Located an hour North of Daytona Beach, an half hour South of Jacksonville, and just 2.5 hours from Orlando, this condo offers easy access to virtually all of Floridas' premium attractions. Whether it is the Daytona 500, Disney, Universal Studios, or a Jacksonville Jaguars will only have to travel a short distance to get there.

Horrible management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was filled with spiders/spider webs. The ac was broken and got up to 93 degrees inside the house. My son found a LARGE butcher knife on the ground by the fire pit in the back yard. Worse of all was management being unreachable- and when I did get in touch with them they told me they would reimburse me but didn’t and won’t return my messages.

Terrible stay

Property needed some tlc. It was not represented well in bio. Here’s the list. Ceiling fan with light in living room did not work. So lighting was poor in home. Tv remote / tv were not user friendly and no instructions were available. No tv in master bedroom. Pillows on couch were soiled and stained. Table runner on dining room table was stained. Drapes in dining room were extremely wrinkled. Bathroom drawers were dirty. Front bedroom blinds were broken. Looked as if an animal had chewed them. Pieces were missing and the would not go down all the way so people could see in from the outside. This was reported but nothing was done about it. Comforter on bed in lower bedroom was stained. The kitchen was so poorly stocked it was not feasible to cook there. Wi-Fi password was not correct Just so very disappointed in this stay. I feel very cheated out of my money. Walk to the beach is untrue unless you like to walk a long way.

Nice unit and very clean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in multiple units in this neighborhood, this has been the cleanest, and best laid out unit. Props to the cleaning crew. Lots of windows and nice kitchen.Only negatives was slow response times from Derrick. But the overall the stay and the place were very nice.

Overall good stay

We stayed for 3 weeks and overall were pleased and had all we needed. Most of our stay, we had 2-4 people, but we did have 6 for one night. Some things to note: *This house is NOT what I would consider a “walk to the beach”, as advertised. It was about a mile to the closest public parking to crossover to the beach—so we drove. *Also, I would NOT say it slept 6 people—unless you are traveling with a young child (& they can sleep on a small, 2-cushion couch). *This house was primarily set up for 5 people—5 actual beds, 5 towels hung between the 2 bathrooms, 5 chairs outside by the fire pit (which were all dirty & mildewy when we arrived, but after wiping them down, they were fine). *The master bedroom (upstairs) is open, like a loft, but it wasn’t an issue for us. *The water pressure in the master bath was horrible, though. They had a nice-size shower, but you had to stand 6-12 inches from the wall because the water pressure was so low. Even with the ‘issues/concerns’ above, we enjoyed our stay...the neighborhood was quiet and had no major issues. We loved the sunroom which opened to the back yard. We had our dog, and this was a great set up for her/us. The area was nice—beach access was easy (just needed to drive to it). Beaches were clean & not too crowded (even during spring break). Several nice restaurants within a couple of miles from the house.

Nice neighborhood

If you’re staying a few nights it’s a nice place to stay . It is missing a lot of basic necessities to make longer stay comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and about 10-15 minute walk to beach across highway and nice fenced in back yard for our dogs Derrick is a very responsive host. But adequate for short stays.
