Perfect getaway for families, couples, guys/girls weekend. Bring your snowmobiles, snowshoes or ice-fishing gear and enjoy the private setting on Steamboat Lake. The Heartland Trail is adjacent to the property and provides miles of hiking and snowmobiling trails. Buena Vista (38 miles) or Detroit Mountain (78 miles) both offer skiing fun. The shops and restaurants of Walker are only 15 min away. Or bring your scrapbooking, quilting or knitting and snuggle in by the fireplace.

Beautiful cabin, very clean, great location by the lake and the host provided timely responses to questions. The ad for this cabin is very accurate, which you don't always find. Everything you could possibly need to enjoy a comfortable stay is provided. We loved our stay and highly recommend.

Great family get away

We had a wonderful time, the cabin was beautiful. Nice layout for families. The lake was clear and not to busy with other boats, great for kayaking and fishing. Would go back again.

Great stay!

This is a beautiful house with a great view of the lake and a very nice kitchen for those who like to cook. The location is in a great spot near Leach Lake and Walker. There are many hiking trails nearby with the Heartland Trail just yards from the front door. This is an ideal place for a short outing or a longer stay. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Family vacation

The first night we had really bad storms possibly tornadoes. No power for 17 hrs. Sarah went out bought a generator and drove 2 hrs so we could have power and brought us bags of ice to keep our food cold. Sunsets are unbelievable! Best vacation home ever!!!

Peaceful cabin

The place was clean and had space. Water access was really nice. We had kitchen items and a washer/dryer that is helpful with kids. The contact person was very helpful! She answered all our questions quickly.

We did not want our stay to end…

What a truly amazing property this is! The property was super clean upon arrival. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. The cabin exceeded all of our expectations. Sarah was a wonderful host. She was available to answer all questions. This cabin has everything and more. Loved that she even had huge beach towels for the beach. Our son loved the swimming area and soft sand. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Sun lovers home - Sunsets & Watch the clouds come over the lake

This is a very well equipped home - Owner thinks of everything. Extremely well equipped kitchen - bathroom too. Comfortable seats, lots of sun in the great room - nice little porch off the kitchen to enjoy watching the lake, morning news, coffee while the rest of the house sleeps too!! Loved it - even got a sunburn in the living room!! LOL

A great getaway weekend that made us all smile.

We had a great time at this cabin! We enjoyed campfires, swimming in September, RAIN, walks, and dog sitting. The dog sitting was a bonus. LOL! Someone had lost or dropped off their dog by the road and it found its way to our cabin. We are all dog owners so it was not a big deal for us. But the owners of the cabin were so great. They did everything they could to help us get the dog to the right place. So we had a friendly, young dog full of energy and barking for half our weekend and a peaceful relaxing second half. I/We look forward to staying here many more times in the future. You will not be disappointed with this cabin. It was beautiful inside and out!

Beautiful Setting

A beautiful home located on a beautiful lake. So nice to have a major regional trail outside the front door for walking and biking. Hope to return here!

Wonderful property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable house. The kitchen & bathrooms were well stocked for several guests. The home was very clean and the grounds were lovely. There was lots of deck seating for meals and relaxing. We loved all of the windows facing the lake and awesome sunsets. We would definitely recommend it and hope to return next summer for another wonderful lake front vacation. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

We loved this place and can’t wait to go back!

The house was perfect for our family! The lake was quiet and clean and the house wasn’t far from the landing. The long dock and sandy beach were great for docking our boat. The house was clean and spacious and had what we needed. The deck had been redone and no longer has a railing which allowed for great views of the amazing sunsets! Was nice to have some games, puzzles and direct tv for the rainy days. There is a really nice paved trail right behind the house which we wish we would have used more. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful cabin!

Had a great stay! Cabin has open layout inside and out with nice view of lake.. Beach/dock are within view of cabin for watching the little ones. It's clean and well stocked with things you'll probably forget to bring. Sarah is a wonderful host with prompt communication. Definitely rent the pontoon, its well worth it. Also, bring the bikes, trail is right there but you'll need bug spray, bugs were pretty bad on the trail. Thanks Sarah.

Steamboat A frame

What a beautiful place! It fix our family perfectly and was exactly as advertised! Fantastic beach for the little one and fantastic yard for us older people. Host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. Family wants to come back again!

Family Vacation

The cabin was awesome. It was the perfect set up for our family. Loved having a beach and a dock close to the deck. It was easy to watch the grandkids. My kids thought everything was great, very accommodating.
