A spacious 4 bedroom (with 9 beds) house that sleeps 10 comfortably. A finished basement that includes ping pong table, pool table, bumper pool table, dart board, air hockey and card table. House includes wi-fi, internet, 3 TVs, wood burning stove, outdoor fire pit and BBQ grill on spacious deck. Close proximity to Mount Snow Ski Resort (6 miles door to door), Stratton Mountain Ski Resort (23 miles), Mount Snow Golf Club, Haystack Golf Club and Lake Whitingham.

Great cabin in a great location

We stayed at the cabin for a skiing weekend. Maybe 15 minutes away from Mt. Snow which was great! Cabin was clean and bigger than we expected. Game room in the basement was an added bonus. Host was easy to contact and check in/out process was a breeze. Would stay here again!

6 miles away from Mount Snow. Beautiful house, great host. Clear instructions for check-in & check-out process.

Comfortable Cabin

Lovely mountain cabin with lots of twin beds for a family of single adults. Amazing fall mountain views easy driving distance in any direction from the cabin. The game room downstairs is great for adult family fun. Owner’s were wonderfully accommodating when stay needed to be extended a day. Highly recommend!

Peace and solitude

The property was great. Lots of rooms and lots of beds. The cool mountain air was so refreshing. We never had to turn on the A/C. Quiet neighborhood with lots of trees. My kids especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. We came to hike but the property is only about 10 minutes to Mt Snow for skiing in the winter. Lots of outdoorsy things to do. We absolutely loved the experience!!!

Overall, not bad

Being close to the mountain was good! The location was also secluded which was nice! The ping pong balls for the table had no bounce - so playing ping pong was not possible. Pool table was too small. There are 3 cameras in the living room which was disturbing. Appliances are very outdated and old. But for a simple stay near Mt. Snow it did the job. For 500 a night - I guess that is justifiable - probably better places though.

Don’t do it

This property is not well maintained and if you are renting it in the winter prepare to FREEZE or be ready to turn 10 heaters on and off when entering and exiting the house (which made me very nervous). The welcome instructions are a NOVEL (mostly around turning on the 10) heaters. Also - the owner asked me to pay a security deposit through VENMO (not OK) and then told me that there is a fee to use the hot tub (which also was not disclosed). He then refused to refund my security deposit because he claimed I didn’t follow the exit instructions (there were never any instructions given to me - other than the fact that we need to take our garbage with us - which we did - but honestly, if you are made to pay a cleaning fee, which we did we shouldn’t even have to do that). Further - you are supposed to call when you arrive so he can tell you how to turn on the hot water (otherwise there is no hot water) but he is hard of hearing - so when you call he can’t hear anything and then hangs up. We tried to reach him numerous times and he never responded or tried to reach us. Thankfully my husband is a contractor and was able to figure out how to do it. Also - the towels are old, dirty and feel like sandpaper. Run the other way - don’t rent this property.

Host is a Horror Show - Painful Over the Top Communication. Constant complaining w/Profanity!

Do Not Rent this Property... Run Away! Painful to say the least. Host was awful from the start, a book full of welcoming and leaving instructions! 100 Fee not included in listing to use the hot tub. Found out about it days before the rental, VRBO said this was ok, I don't think so. Sat in grit in the hot tub, and three of our guests got folliculitis, a rash from poor maintenance of hot tub. Host is over the top controlling, who constantly harassed us during our stay. Had to call host before arriving to receive verbal instructions to light the hot water heater pilot light (not disclosed in the listing) and multitude of instructions to open and close the place. Surprised we didn't have to drain the water pipes. Towels were like using sandpaper. Profanity latent posters with famous people giving the finger to whomever is looking at the poster. Screws, hardware, & tools left hanging around. Had to open boxes of multiple space heaters, read instructions, and turn on to keep warm, then re-box before leaving. Had to bring fire wood, with ridiculous instructions to operate wood stove (didn't bother). Constant requests to pay fees thru Venmo (not VRBO process), then gets upset when we refused to use Venmo. Had to pay extra guest fee for 7th and 8th person when home easily accommodates 10 people. Nickel and dimes you to death with fees. Worst rental in 6 years of renting. This person should not be renting their home. Have submitted multiple complaints to VRBO.
