Come relax in our Pine Island dream home--a charming, open and colorful floor plan will remind you that you are on a Florida vacation at every turn. Watch a thunderous storm from the furnished lanai, or fish for snook, snapper, crab, and shark from our dock. If you are lucky, catch a glimpse of dolphin or shark circling our fish light at night. Enjoy a peaceful stroll or bike ride to several restaurants and bait stores a few blocks away. World class beaches can be found by a ten minute boat ride to Picnic Island Beach, or a 30 minute boat ride to Cayo Costa and Sanibel islands. Fish the renown waters of Pine Island Sound for tarpon, snook, shark, reds, flounder, Spanish mackerel, and so many more species--simply a canal ride away. Enjoy local shopping and eateries at quaint Pine Island Center and Matlacha Island. Expect a quiet, laidback island-time vacation while staying in this new VRBO listing.

This was a terrific place for our boating trip. Great communication with the owner. Very clean and well supplied. The screened patio was perfect for a sundowner after fishing. I hope to stay again next year!

Wonderful home on a peaceful little island

Jeff and Michelle were great hosts from beginning to end, kept in touch with us to update us as needed and responded immediately to questions. The place was very clean, brightly decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Loved the ability to use the canoe and the bicycles and enjoyed fishing for hours on the boat dock! Highly recommend!

Truly Amazing place.

This place was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The place was huge and with plenty of space and everything we needed to make our stay truly amazing. Jeff was attentive and quick to respond to our questions. The place is a jewel of a find, well equipped and a peaceful neighborhood. To me the best part was the deck out back where I enjoyed fishing. Thank you Jeff.

Residing and working as educators in Washington State, our favorite place to vacation is Pine Island, Florida. It is our dream to retire in this Saint James City home. A happy family of five and soon to be empty nesters.

Please know that this vacation rental is a new venture for us. Our goal is to provide a special vacation experience for our renters. As time permits, we will continue to make improvements to the property, so please feel free to reach out to us personally with any suggestions you might have.

Jeff's family has lived in the Florida area for decades. Having grown up on Sanibel Island in the 1970s, when it was a different and slower paced place, there has been a longing to return to the area. Saint James City has that special laidback feel as island living should. Simply put, Pine Island has charm and a reminiscent sense of peace.
