This lovely, spacious, three level, 5 bedroom home sits on a lush 3+ acre property close to Mast General Store in Valle Crucis. Extremely convenient access to Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Banner Elk, and Beech Mountain. No need for four-wheel drive, even in the winter.

The large outdoor terraces feature a massive outdoor fireplace and a 90-jet hot tub. All five bedrooms have Smart TV's (large, new ones!). Upstairs, the spacious master suite has a king size four-poster bed, gas-log fireplace, a garden tub, and shower. A plush queen bedroom is also upstairs. Downstairs, two more bedrooms feature King Beds, and a third bedroom has a queen bed plus a solid bunk bed. **ALL beds, including bunk beds, have thick, new, high-quality mattresses. You'll have great sleep. The roomy kitchen has two refrigerators and seating for 14. There are four distinct living areas, including a comfortable upstairs living room, a large downstairs den with a gas log fireplace, a bright, hexagonal Florida room with pretty views, and a well-furnished, 500 sq ft play room featuring a pool table. Look at our photos!!

This house is so much better than a cramped log cabin on a steep hill. There is plenty of space for multiple vehicles, plenty of room for adults and kids to play inside or out, surrounded by beautiful trees, mountain scenery, and frequent visits by deer that live in the area.

Very happy. Good location, plenty of room, very clean, plenty of parking.Couple notes:There was only 1 dishwashing pod so we couldnt do all the dishes (we cooked a few times and had to handwash them)Almost ran out of toilet paper on the top floor and couldnt find any extra (there may have been some on the bottom floor, I didnt think to check there)Could not get the master bedroom fireplace to turn on, I dont know if we were doing something wrong. Downstairs fireplace worked.Had some issues with the hot tub - the headrests were all broken off, the jets didnt work and the water didnt seem to be cycling (nothing was coming out of the waterfall and it would start getting cold after you open the lid - we found a nob that looked like it had been broken off and reatached it, and then the water started flowing from the waterfall and it warmed baxk up but never exactly got "hot". We were also using it at night and it was extremely cold so maybe thay was why.)The shower water never got hot enough for my preference either, but it was nice that we didnt run out of warm water with multiple people all trying to shower.Layout is a little odd - all the rooms have doors connecting them but we just locked them and it was fine. Also be aware that the kitchen is on the 2nd floor. We didnt mind (and had fun using the dumbwaiter!) But if someone in your group has monility issues it could be a problem.These were just minor issues, we were very happy and would love to stay again

Beautiful home, nestled amongst the trees with daily visits from deer. Perfect for our group in town for a family wedding. Comfortable, well equipped, easy check- in. Quiet, yet very conveniently located, with all this beautiful area has to offer. Would highly recommend, particularly for larger groups!

Great location close to Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Elk River Falls, etc. Easy to get in and out of, plenty of parking, and would even accommodate an RV. Plenty of room to spread out inside along with a great outdoor area with super nice hot tub. Any issues are promptly addressed by the owners. Highly recommend this property for family and friends!

Highly recommend!!

I gave five stars in my reviews for every position except one. The kitchen in this rental is on the second floor. I could not see that at all in the description of the home. Had any of our elderly ladies gone with us they would not have been able to have got up to the kitchen. Other than that, this home was fantastic. The views from the kitchen were beautiful too with it being on the second floor. We had 13 ladies on this visit, and we all had plenty of space to visit together or have alone time if we felt like it. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we had no problem with any of our meals that we were preparing. We had a slight problem with the water which was immediately taking care of. I had absolutely no complaints about this place and look forward to another visit in the future. The owners were very helpful in our preparation to come. Offering multiple suggestions for sleeping conditions. The rental was very accessible to shopping and easy to find.

Great stay

Very clean and beautifully-appointed unit. Sitting areas on two floors accommodated our 13-member group. Spacious kitchen was easy to prepare meals in. Host was very gracious and accommodating to us. Highly recommend!

Family Christmas trip

Very nice home. Easy to get to and great parking. The owner even had Christmas tree put up for my grown family of 12. (8 grown children and their spouses and 2 grandkids) master lovely, bed comfy. Would be nice to have a king in other upstairs bedroom. Dumb waiter was great for unloading and groceries. Overall lovely place to stay.

More than we were expecting

This property really had it all, we brought in some things we thought we might have needed for our stay and boy, we were wrong. The place is fully equiped, with even more than we actually needed. The rooms were clean and every space was great for our year end family gathering; the views were amazing and overall we're already planning on coming back. Would highly recommend this property for large groups.

Awesome Vacation Home

We've been to this mountain town several times but this is our first experience in a vacation home and we're more than just satisfied. The property was located not too far from the city but yet in a secluded quiet beautiful place, The house has ample space for multiple families, Kitchen has all utensils you need if you plan to cook and stay indoors. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, Smart TVs everywhere, Pool table and board games for entertainment. This is one of our best vacations

Perfect Spot for App State Graduation

Our family had a wonderful time here celebrating our son’s graduation from App State. Plenty of space to spread out with big beds for all the adults.

Great mountain stay

We had a team of men that served with a local ministry doing hurricane relief and use this VRBO For our sleeping accommodations. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked for our team. A few very minor things to be expected with such a large property but we were all grateful for such large accomodations. We enjoyed grilling and the fire pit at the end of the evenings. Thank you!

Great house!

Our stay was planned for 3 weeks after Helene, so things were up in the air for a short time. Stephen was great, however, and he reached out with information on the condition of the house, roads, etc. We didn't want to travel if it would be more of a burden on the community, but we also wanted to help in any way we could - even if it just meant supporting the local businesses. This house is wonderful, especially for an all-adult crew. We each had our own bedrooms with big beds that were extremely comfortable. The dumb waiter came in handy when we wanted to roast hot dogs in the outdoor fireplace - we were able to send all of the food down to the eating nook on the lower level. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

This house is great!

The land the house is on is beautiful. Lots of amenities and space for everyone to hang out and relax in the mountains. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and grilling for our friends . House is very clean with modern appliances and comfy mattresses . Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The house had plenty of space for our group of 12. We never felt on top of each other and we never ran out of hot water! The home was clean and pictures and description were great! Check in was so simple and we never ran into any issues! can’t recommend this place enough. Such a beautiful home and nice spacious layout for a group!

Winter wonder land of a weekend

We were blessed to enjoy the snow. The driveway was prefect for playing. The home was prect for the 4 families. We all arrive safely during the snow storm. We were thrilled to to get stuck at the top of a mountain. We would love to stay here again. Beautiful home.

This home is perfectly located for a family visit to the High Country, easy to reach from anywhere. You will be surrounded by beautiful trees, with privacy and broken views of the mountains and the valley. Yet you are close to everything you need. Boone grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are only 5 to 6 miles away. The famous Mast General Store is only1.5 miles down Broadstone Road, along with the Valle Crucis Park, alongside the Watauga River. The river is just down the hill from the house. The large lot, surrounded by mature trees, provides privacy and a quiet place to relax. Unlike too many rentals with steep driveways or excessive isolation, access to our place is easy and there is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Sun, rain, snow....easy access.

There are many benefits at Broadstone Manor: 1. A large outdoor terrace wraps around the house, with a ten foot tall stone fireplace, an eight person hot tub with 90 jets, and overhead string lighting. Outdoor furniture provides plenty of seating for everyone. 2. A large, bright, well-supplied large kitchen with two refrigerators features seating for at least 14 people, with great morning views to the east. 3. A truly unique feature of this property is the fact that there are five distinct, roomy living spaces, and all of them are very comfortably furnished. Upstairs, there is a living room with a 60 inch Smart TV. On the ground level there is a very large den with a gas log fireplace that can easily seat at least 10 people. An adjoining "Tea Room" with a glass table for cards, games, or chatting. The hexagonal sun room is wonderful..
