Gorgeous country views and less than two miles from downtown. Escape from stress to this cozy cabin on 3.1 acres, with your own private walking trail. Peaceful setting with fruit trees, wild mushrooms and wild blackberries for you to pick while in season. Wake up to deer just outside your door. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill in the back yard.
Visit downtown Pt. Pleasant where you'll find multiple shops, restaurants, the Mothman Statue, Tu Endie Wei State Park and the River Walk with hand painted murals on the flood wall.

The cabin is featured in Sherri Brake's Podcast "Mothman & More" Season 2/Episode 1. Sherri recorded the Podcast while staying at the cabin.

The cabin is being used as a main filming site for the upcoming movie "The Point Pleasant Tapes."

The cabin was featured in the TV Series “Murder in the Heartlands” Season 1, Episode 12 (Field of Bad Dreams) and a movie producer stayed at the cabin for peace and quiet while he finished writing a script.

The best rental yet !

This cabin was all it advertised and more. Never have stayed anywhere with as many amenities. The setting was beautiful and quiet and relaxing. Close to town but in the countryside. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting some time away from it all.

Lovely Getaway

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for! A perfect little getaway into nature, the property was beautiful, comfortable, private, and had just about everything you could possibly need.

Beautiful Cabin Retreat

The cabin was absolutely adorable. The space was kept very clean and the provided amenities were unexpected but such a lovely surprise. The cabin had everything you'd need for a nice little retreat with a partner.

Relaxing time in the country

Just what we wanted, a relaxing time to read and not much else. The location was perfect, close to town but not too close. Sitting on the back deck in the morning watching the birds was so nice.

Perfection!

This cabin is perfect! Quiet, peaceful and super clean. It was fully stocked with everything anyone could need and also coveniently located close to town. Communication from the owner was fantastic! I'm a big Mothman/cryptid fan so I absolutely loved all the decor.

Frazier's Cabin

The photos really don't do this property justice. It is a serene, rustic cabin with pastoral views. The host goes above and beyond with the available amenities. Very responsive too. We really could have brought a lot less with us. A short drive to downtown Point Pleasant & all the local sites. Nice to come back to grilling up some dinner & relaxing by the fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

A slice of Heaven and absolutely PERFECT!

Our stay was more than we could ever have imagined! We enjoyed the safe trail behind the cabin, cocktails next to the cozy fire, as well as the beautiful view watching wildlife and the peacefulness of nature! The host insured we had more than we needed and much much more. It felt like a slice of Heaven! We will definitely be returning!

My husband and I can't express how happy and pleased we were with our stay at the cabin! So many thoughtful touches! I won't spoil any fun surprises, but you can tell that a lot of thought, time, energy and love went in to decorating, preparing, and pleasing guests! We had such a relaxing time, and loved waking up and seeing what birds were visiting the feeders that morning! Beautiful cabin, warm and cozy, very inviting and such a pleasure to visit! Thank you for sharing your home with us! And I believe the mothballs made me spit out my coffee when I saw them! What a great sense of humor! Thank you again for our magical getaway!

Quaint Cabin

Mostly enjoyed the stay. The cabin is located back and up a gravel road that was really bumpy. The cabin was clean but could use some better furniture as it was uncomfortable. There was no central a/c but there was a window a/c in the kitchen and standing floor one in the bedroom which was loud. The owner is working on making more improvements so this place should be more enjoyable in the future.

Hidden Gem!

This place was an absolute hidden gem! The location was beautiful and peaceful. All of the little touches in the cabin really make this place special, you truly feel at home when you’re there. The owner is an absolute delight, very accommodating, easy to get ahold of and very informative about the home and area you’re staying in. They really went above and beyond with the amenities and entertainment, you’ll have everything you’ll need and more for your stay. You can really tell there’s a lot of love that has gone into this place, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

My husband and I love checking out different cabins!

My husband and I have rented many cabins, it is an adventure that we love to take at least once or twice a year. I have to say this is one of our favorite’s!!!! We have never been to a cabin that was fully stocked 😁 we are so use to brining are own condiments, seasonings, Coffee & creamer and all the different cold coffee‘s to choose from and flavors to put in them. Loved the way the place was decorated it was very cozy. I understand that the owner is updating some things so I can’t wait to go back again sometime in the future to see all the new changes. My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend in your cabin.

Will definitely be back!

Rented the cabin to do some writing and get some work done. Was looking for peace and quiet mixed with beautiful nature. It was everything I could of asked for! Denise, was so kind and very helpful. Went into town on my last day and indulged in the large amount of Point Pleasant history. If you’re s Moth Man fan, you will love this town!

Perfect getaway cabin

My girlfriend and I decided we needed a getaway from the city and also wanted a little adventure so this cabin was perfect, it's located near a neat little town Point Pleasant with an interesting history and of course the legend of the Mothman. Overall it was amazing and the cabin is very comfortable.
