Good location and fare price.

While traveling thought Puerto Rico we stayed few nights at Silma’s place. The host was really nice and friendly, the apartment is cute and the location is nice. Really recommend!

Like visiting family

If you are looking for a good place to stay with a good price, THIS IS IT. I felt like I was staying with family! You have a private downstairs apartment with a detached bathroom. It’s a little cramped if you use all 4 sleepers but for a few friends or a couple, it’s great!

Inaccurate listing of property.

Bugs, mosquitos in unit. Owner pets left a feces in front of unit door. Dangerous traffic 8n front of property. Cars speeding.Slmost got hit entering parking spot. DIFFICULT to locate address.

Sr.Aponte lamento sus comentarios. La ubicacion es accesible y mas si usa la aplicacion destinada para eso,el guest queda en una calle principal y es directo sin coger ni tan siguiera izquierda derecha si no que es directo. Estamos en un campo y en P.R y usted es de P.R. Y sabe que en los campos hay mosquitos y cuando llego yo le informe q mantubiera la puerta cerrada por los mosquitos.En cuanto al ruido y velocidad de los carros eso yo no lo puedo controlar y usted lo sabe.Las manchas en la marquecina son de unos pajaros voladores ( machambo ) q usted como puertorriqueño tambien sabe q en el campo abundan.Yo lo atendi con respeto y amigable y creo que descanso bien aunque me choco que dijera q usted dormia en una cama king pero por el precio creo que las camas cumplen con la compañia.Me sorprende todos los comentarios pues me dijo q le encantaba y le echo flores al patio y a la temperatura.Me arrepiento de haberle insistido que escribiera la evaluacion que si hubiese sabido que tenia esa opinion era mejor no habersela pedido.Pero gracias pues uno aprende de estas experiencias. Ademas me informo que volveria a quedarse y que lo haria personalmente para que yo no pagara las tarifas q la compañia cobra y yo no le respondi y me arrepiento pues tenia q decirle q yo no me presto para eso pues sigo la politica de la plataforma,aqui me dejo ver la clase de persona que usted es.Gracias por su estadia.

A Fine Place to Sleep w/o Amenities

This is a fine place to stay while in Puerto Rico and in the Arecibo region. Do not expect amenities aside from the A/C and television. It has a detached shower and bathroom. Silma is a kind and welcoming hostess who speaks Spanish and a bit of English, too. Directions from VRBO site could be improved to include an exact set of GPS coordinates. Using the Google Map link from VRBO, I got lost on the way after dark and had to call the hostess for directions. Aside from that, comfortable and quiet enough. Ample sleeping space for four. I'd stay here again. It's a great place for the low price. The street outside is busy, so be careful entering and exiting the driveway.

Muy pobre calidad de servicio

Para empezar, la habitación tiene un baño, pero fuera. Para usarlo tienes que atravesar la marquesina de la casa que expuesta al exterior dónde cualquier delincuente puede brincar y acceder a la propiedad facilmente. La marquesina está ocupada con un carro que aparentemente no funciona. Había mal olor como de excremento de animales, tal vez de perros o gatos. La taza del inodoro del baño estába sucia con partículas de excremento y la ducha estaba percudida. El inodoro no bajaba bien. Tenía muy poca presión. Por otro lado, las camas estaban llenas de polvo. Una de ellas es una litera y la cama de arriba tenía un enjambre de hormigas muertas. Hay un futón que tenía manchas blancas que aparentaba ser hongo. El aire tenía telarañas llenas de polvo, al igual que los bordes de arriba de las paredes. Había un "hamper" de tela viejo y amarillento. Lo que colmo la copa fue que cuando fuimos a cerrar la puerta de la habitación, le pusimos el seguro, pero con tan solo empujarla levemente la puerta se abría. Además , hay un portón con candado después de la puerta que aunque protege del exterior, los dueños de la propiedad pueden tener acceso sin necesitar llave pues la puerta abre sola aunque tenga seguro. Para poder ir al baño hay que abrir el candado y salir al exterior. Mi esposo tiene diabetes y tiene que ir al baño varias veces en la noche, a un baño que está expuesto a la calle . Tuvimos que volver a nuestra casa a las 2:30 am porque además mi hija es extremadamente alérgica.

Necesitaba quedarme en el pueblo de Arecibo un fin de semana, y este lugar cumplió mi propósito. Doña Sindia se mostró siempre muy amable, y hasta me dio clases de jardín y orquídeas.

Silma is wonderful

I came in late and had major difficulties finding the place at night. Silma was very communicative before I arrived to Arecibo and did her best to help navigate to her place. She is very kind. Her outdoor space is beautiful. Guest house has the basics needed.
