Nice apartment but not more than that

Our stay at Curacao was great, the apartment is OK. Everything is fine but not great. The one thing we really missed was that when we arrived in the evening, we didn;t have anything in the apartment to drink or eat. It would have been nice to have at least some coffee available. The airco in the bedroom is very nice, only the light from the airco is so bright that you can almost read with it, but with the help from Sandy we put a peace of cardboard for the light so that it was dark again in the bedroom. Thanks again Sandy. The shower is nice and warm but not hot. The place to sit in-front of your apartment is small but ok. The swimming pool is nice, but you have to share it with the other guest and it is to small to really swim in it. Everything is ok but nothing is great. Thank again you can also see that in the price. So for us the place was fine. You get a nice apartment for a good price and when you go the beach and visit Curacao then this is al you need and more. So if we go again to the same area we would definitly book this again because ok is more then enough for our stay in Curacao. The island itself is perfect enough.

The place was very nice. Shared pool with other couples in unit . Pool was great!! Any questions we had were answered right away. Great location close to main road. Dogs barked in the evening but we got used to them.

Die Villa ist wirklich schön, alles sehr gepflegt und die Besitzer sind so nett. Sie haben uns auch viele Tips für Ausflüge und Restaurants geben, was wirklich super war. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nochmal dort Urlaub machen!!!

Sehr schön

Wir wurden von der Managerin am Flughafen abgeholt und zum Appartement gefahren. Im Kühlschrank stand alles was man für ein Frühstück braucht, so das wir nicht sofort einkaufen muss. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön und sauber. Gute Tips für Restaurants oder Strände und ein offenes Ohr für Fragen. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Peaceful Stay on Curacao

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Curacao at Cas Grandi. The owners and property manager were delightful, offering suggestions for beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and sites around the island. The apartment was comfortable and clean and we were provided with a variety of food and drinks for the first couple of days! The property was well maintained, organized and safe. The pool was lovely after a day at the beach!! We had a choice of eating in the apartment or outside on the porch. The location of the apartment, south of the capital, was perfect. A quiet residential neighborhood. All of the beaches were within an hour drive or (most often) less. Beaches usually offered lounge chairs for a small charge and we could bring our lunch to spend the day. We visited the capital city a few days for visits to museums, walking through the historic areas and eating out. All in all a wonderful vacation!! Thank you, Julie and Larry

Very safe, close to major grocery stores, and kiteboarding spot.

The Property was very clean, very nice and safe area, with all the plants and palm trees around the pool area I I felt I was in a tropical jungle.

Traumurlaub

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Karibik und der Urlaub hätte nicht entspannter anfangen können. Wir hatten den Mietwagen direkt über die Vermieter gebucht und wurden somit am Flughafen abgeholt und zur Unterkunft „App. Chuchubi“ gefahren. Das Appartement war perfekt ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Großartig fanden wir auch die kleine Kühltasche, die wir immer gerne mit zum Strand genommen haben. Außerdem fanden wir es auch total klasse, dass der Kühlschrank schon alles für ein erstes Frühstück enthielt (Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Margarine, Brötchen, Wasser, Kaffee) und waren sehr dankbar, dass wir nicht gleich einkaufen fahren mussten, sondern in Ruhe ankommen konnten. Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben noch nie einen so sauberen Pool gehabt, wie hier und die Liegen sind auch sehr bequem. Die Vermieter (Jennifer und Rene) und das Management waren immer für uns erreichbar, sind super nett und ihre Insidertipps waren Gold wert (z.B. Lumito-Spieß im Pincho Garden :-) Wir haben uns von der 1. bis zur letzten Minute sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und da wir in den 14 Tagen längst nicht alles gesehen haben, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen.

Abenteuer Curaçao

Wir haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Bei Anliegen war direkt jemand zur Stelle und hat sich darum gekümmert. Leider muss man IMMER mit dem Auto fahren, um irgendwo hin zu kommen. Tolle Insidertipps. Vielen Dank noch einmal.

Private Caribbean stay for Two

Cas Grandi sits in a pleasant neighborhood. All homes are individually gated properties. The description matches the place. A big plus for our stay was the quiet privacy, breeze coming in all day and night. The ceiling fans mean no AC needed. One surprise was the hot water is not connected at the kitchen or bathroom sinks. Water and electricity are additional charges. We stayed 3 weeks, our additional charge was $36.00. The internet is not always available. This is how it is on the island. It is a necessity to download the app, Maps. Me for easy navigation around the island. Cas Grandi is about 30 minutes from Willemstaad. It is an hour drive to the Westpunt end of the island. There are many Beautiful lagoons to swim and snorkel. Every day 75 to start, low 80's, balmy evenings. The only inconvenience of our stay was the TV, moving the cursor one letter at a time and depending on the streaming connection. Manon had some food, beer, milk waiting for us in refrigerator. The 🍓 jam was like homemade. Once a week, Manon came to give us new towels, made the beds with new sheets, cleaned the bathroom. Thanks, Manon. Manon was very helpful and a good host with suggestions of where to go that matched our interests. When you go to Willemstaad, pay for your parking space. There is also free parking within walking distance of all tourist sections of town. Curacao is a relaxing destination. An added note:the BEST supermarket is Centrum. Has everything including fresh vegetables, fruit, bakery, deli!

Good value for the Willemstad end of the island.

I was lucky to be here when the owners were here. They were lovely and anxious for any suggestions I might have to make my stay better. My apartment was on the ground floor, sheltered from the sun. It also escaped any breeze in that location but the fans and AC in the bedroom were adequate. The pool was a nice way to finish off a hot and humid explore of the city. There was a supermarket and ATM nearby and it wasn't far to two beaches. One was a resort-style beach with pay parking and chaise lounges for rent. The other was free and much more my personal style with parking, a shaded picnic table, and the shoreline, all within a few meters. This was on Caracas Bay along the road from 'The Pirate's Rest' The quiet location of Villa Unique is between the downtown of Willemstad and the airport/aquarium/caves/ and another resort-style beach. Also nearby was the departure centre (Pirate's Rest) for a boat trip to Klein Curaçao which was arranged by the owners' local agent. I spent the first 6 nights of my exploration of the island at this location. I didn't run out of things to do.

Das Appartement ist -wie in den vorigen Bewertungen ausführlich erwähnt - sauber, keinerlei Mängel bei der Ausstattung/Einrichtung, auf den Matratzen ist gut zu schlafen (sind nicht zu hart). Ausreichendes, vollständiges und sauberes Küchenequipment, um zu kochen. Für 2 Personen, die um 8/8.30 Uhr zum Beach losfahren und gegen Nachmittag zurückkehren, ist das chuchubi ausreichend. Die Lage wurde von uns bewusst gewählt, da wir die Infrastruktur schätzen, kurz ins Golden Seahorse am Caracasbaai zum Essen, einkaufen im Albert Heijn/Vreugdenhil/Centrum, nach dem Strand oder abends noch in die Stadt und einfach kostenlos parken im Parkhaus vom Renaissance Hotel, alles problemlos. Aber am Wichtigsten war für uns, dass Jenny bzw. ihre Manager jederzeit für uns erreichbar waren und auf sie absolut Verlass war und wir Ihre 100% Zuverlässig -keit in diesem Umfang bisher in keinem Urlaub (bei anderen Gastgebern) davor erfahren haben.

Great apartment and Great hosts

Jen and Rene were exactly the kind of hosts that you want to have: friendly, professional, and happy to provide information and recommendations on anything you might need. I spent six weeks there when I was working in Willemstad and was delighted to find that the apartment, car, and overall service were exactly as advertised online. The apartment has a modern update, the kitchen is well stocked, the bedroom has lots of storage and a strong air conditioner, and the bathroom is well designed with a good shower. Jen and Rene picked me up at the airport as planned and gave me recommendations for everything I needed: from grocery stores and where to get gas for the car to restaurants, beaches, and which navigation app to use since I would be renting a car during my stay. Jen was always available by phone, text, and email whenever I had a question. She and Rene even came to pick me up when I lost my car keys. They came as soon as I called! It's that kind of care and kindness that made staying at Villa Unique such a friendly and warm experience. I already have plans to return later this year. Thank you for everything, Jen and Rene :-D

LUXUS APARTMENT WITH POOL/SEAVIEW/5 MIN JAN THIEL

our plane arrived 3+ hours late to Curacao and were greeted by our hosts who were more concerned how we were doing rather than there inconvenience. This same level of concern was evident through our entire stay of 12 days. The apt is clean and well kept , we ate breakfast outside every morning listening and watching the tropical birds that frequent the yard, in particular the early mornings. We did most of our cooking here at the end of a busy day of snorkelling and visiting local sites, and then sitting by the pool sharing the days events with two other couples who quickly became friends during our stay . The pool and area is clean and well kept , large enough for a group to sit together or easily move chairs to have your own space. Our hosts offered suggestions on some of their favourite beaches, restaurants , stores etc.. which was appreciated . They are nearby to address any concerns or questions but never intrusive we gave them a five star but only because that is the highest rating , should be 5+ for the hosts, location price etc.

Great quiet location.

Quiet location, comfortable apartment. The hosts were so gracious and helpful, gave us so many helpful tips for our first visit to Curacao. We rented a car from them so we were picked up and dropped off at the airport. Even the fridge was stocked with some items to get us started. They really make sure their guests are comfortable and happy.

Wir kommen wieder!

Auch wir haben das Appartment Chuchubi, wie auch in den anderen Bewertungen, als super sauber und schön empfunden. Man fühlt sich von der 1. Minute -der Ankunft- und der letzten Minute -der Abreise- super aufgehoben. Die kleine gemütlich Anlage liegt in einer ruhigen und gut gestellten Wohngegend. Mit dem Auto, welches auch wir direkt mitgebucht haben, kann man die Insel erkunden. Da wir nicht alles gesehen haben, haben wir uns entschieden wieder zurück an diesen schönen Ort zukommen. Somit ist unsere nächste Reise bereits gebucht und wir freuen uns auf einen schönen Aufenthalt im Trupial.

Schönes Apartment für einen schönen Urlaub!

Wir haben zwei Wochen im Apartment "Chuchubi" verbracht. Für zwei Personen ist die Größe der Wohnung optimal! Die Wohnung, sowie die gesamte Anlage sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter haben uns freundlich am Flughafen empfangen und uns schon auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft mit vielen nützlichen Tips zur Freizeitgestaltung, Restaurants usw. versorgt. Auch sonst waren die beiden stets sehr hilfsbereit! Das zusammen mit dem Apartment gebuchte Auto war ebenfalls einwandfrei - ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall ein MUSS wenn man die Insel erkunden möchte. Restaurants usw. sind fussläufig nur mit einigem Ehrgeiz zu erreichen! Dafür liegt das Haus in einer ruhigen und sauberen Lage und ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge zu diversen Traumstränden! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Urlaub!

ABSOLUT DIE RICHTIGE WAHL! TOLL!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Curacao verbracht weil wir schon viel von der Insel gehört haben. Der Vermieter hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und sehr herzlich empfangen. Als wir in der Ferienwohnung ankamen waren wir begeistert. Es ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Wir sind oft unter dem Palapa gesessen und haben die Kolibries und Leguane beobachtet. Untertags waren wir immer an verschiedenen Stränden. Am Abend haben wir uns am Pool entspannt (die Poolliegen sind sehr bequem). Es war immer sauber. Ein grosser Palapa spendet Schatten. Im Garten sind viel Palmen und Pflanzen. Jen hat uns viel über die Insel erzählt und daher haben wir die ganze Insel erkundet. Das war toll. Die Lage vom Apartment ist sehr gut, mehrere Strände sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Ein Auto ist ein muss damit man diese wunderschöne Insel erkunden kann. Der Mietwagen von Villa Unique war optimal und sehr sauber. Bei der Abreise wurden wir kostenlos zum Flughafen gebracht. Wir haben uns im Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt und werden Villa Unique auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen denn das Apartment ist TOP und die herzliche Betreuung auch. Wir haben schon den nächsten Urlaub dort gebucht.

ALLES PERFEKT!

Unser Urlaub war top. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Wir haben oft Lomito gegrillt das sagten uns die Eigentümer und es war sehr lecker. Der Pool war stets sauber. Mit dem Mietwagen haben wir alle Strände besucht und jeder war schön. Zum Schluss machten wir einen Ausflug nach Klein Curacao. Wir haben fünf Schildkröten gesehen. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und ein toller Urlaub. Wir empfehlen dieses Apartment weiter.

Ein Traum.....

Das Arpartment entspricht genau dem abgebildeteten Bilder! Es war einfach nur schön unsere Flitterwochen bei euch verbringen zu dürfen! In der Küche war alles was man zum Kochen benötigt vorhanden! Auch bei einer Selbstverschuldeten Autopanne wurde uns sofort Samstagsabend geholfen :-) Es war einfach alles Perfekt Lieben Gruß Christian und Samantha

ALLES PERFEKT!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub auf Curacao verbracht, da wir schon viel von der schönen Insel gehört haben. Der Vermieter hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und sehr herzlich empfangen. Als wir in der Ferienwohnung ankamen waren wir begeistert. Alles ist schön und total sauber. Wir sind beim Frühstück gesessen unter dem Palapa gesessen und haben die Kolibries und Leguane beobachtet und am Abend haben wir oft gegrillt. Vielen Dank an die Eigentümer für den tollen Tip Lomito, denn das haben wir oft gegrillt. Es ist ein argentinisches Steak und billiger als in Deutschland. Ganz lecker! An manchen Tagen waren wir am Pool. Der Poolbereich ist sehr tropisch und das lieben wir. Es war immer sauber. Im Garten sind viel Palmen und Pflanzen. Die Eigentümerin hat uns viel über die Insel erzählt und daher haben wir die ganze Insel erkundet. Das war aufregend. Die Lage vom Apartment ist sehr gut, mehrere Strände sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind in der Nähe. Ein Auto ist ein muss! Wir haben alle tollen Strände gesehen. Zum Abschluss waren wir auf Klein Curacao, dass war ein Traum. Wir sind mit den Schildkröten geschnorchelt und die Unterwasserwelt war wunderschön. Der Mietwagen von der Vermieterin war super. Sie hat uns bei der Abreise kostenlos zum Flughafen gebracht. Das war bisjetzt unser schönster Urlaub und wir kommen wieder!
