We truly appreciate you bringing the three issues to our attention: 1. **Patio Door Difficulty** – We apologize for the inconvenience. A hard-to-operate door can certainly take away from the ease of enjoying the outdoor space. We'll have our maintenance team inspect and address the sliding mechanism to ensure it opens and closes smoothly for future guests. 2. **Unmarked Cooling Switch in Lower Bedroom** – Thank you for pointing this out. We understand how frustrating it can be when something as important as room temperature control isn't intuitive. We'll make sure this switch is clearly labeled moving forward to avoid any confusion. 3. **Lack of Blackout Shade in Lower Bedroom** – That’s a great observation. Hallway lighting can definitely impact sleep quality, and we agree that a blackout shade would be a valuable improvement. Our lakefront lodging on Round Lake offers guests some of the best views in downtown Charlevoix, with opportunities to relax on private balconies or patios while watching the boats pass by, the Beaver Island ferry depart, and the iconic Charlevoix drawbridge in action. In addition to these unique waterfront views, our property is located within easy walking distance to boutique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and beaches, making it one of the most convenient spots to stay in town. Each of our fully furnished waterfront condominiums is carefully prepared by our housekeeping team to be clean, welcoming, and comfortable upon arrival. Guests also enjoy resort-style amenities including an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and a sun terrace overlooking Round Lake. Our friendly front desk staff is available daily to assist with check-in, answer questions, and provide local recommendations so that every guest feels cared for throughout their stay. That being said, your 6/10 rating tells us there may have been areas of your stay that didn’t fully meet expectations.
