3 BR Mountain Log Cabin at St. Mary's Glacier

Colorado mountain living at it's best! Real log cabin, fully furnished and ready for your outdoor adventures. Three bedroom 2 bath but it sleeps up to 9 with the bonus loft area. There is a front deck for coffee or cocktails and a back deck for grilling. Enter in to a stunning home finished in gleaming wood from floor to vaulted ceiling. There is a stone fireplace for chilly evenings and an open kitchen for entertaining. The large bonus room off the back was once a hot tub room and is perfect for all your mountain gear. Both bathrooms are updated with stone floors, wood cabinets and new fixtures.

Relaxing and picturesque cabin nestled in the trees close to mountain lakes and St Mary’s Glacier. We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was thoughtfully designed so that all eight of us slept well, had room to hang out (indoor and on the deck outside!) as well as cook our meals!! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at the Cabin at St Mary's Glacier very much; the hosts even put up a Christmas tree by the fireplace which was a considerate touch. The host was very communicative and responsive, and the cabin was remote but cozy. The cabin is a bit of a drive up a windy road, about 20 minutes away from the town, so getting up and down the mountain in the winter was a little challenging. The linens and beds were very comfortable; however, the cabin could use a deep cleaning and some reorganization. And the oven was almost completely unusable; it would not maintain temperature and trying to cook in took 3-4 times as long as it should have. The cabin does have a new toaster/convection oven, so we used for that for a couple of meals, but it's small so plan to prepare smaller dishes if you need to bake anything. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay in a cozy cabin hosted by considerate people!

If you’re looking for a nice cabin up in the mountains this is it. We booked a trip in late spring and the place was still 3-4ft deep in snow.

Just a gorgeous place to stay and close to some great experiences we had at Argo Mine, Georgetown Loop Railroad, St. Mary’s Glacier, and Loch Lomond. So clean and cozy!

Great Cabin with Beautiful Views

This was a great cabin that was very close to St Mary’s Glacier to go up there for a quick hike. Will for sure try to rent again if we are in Idaho Springs!
