This unit is right above the beach. Only these few corner units have view windows in every room and bathroom, with every window looking out on palm trees, ocean, and beach just outside the unit. Plus, our corner is a prime oceanfront location in the entire complex. Both Master Bedrooms have spectacular views and are open to separate lanais. The front Master opens to the front lanai with a gorgeous 180-degree view of the beach and both Lanai and Molokai islands! The second Master Bedroom has a full wall window looking out to the beach and Lanai Island and opens up to a second lanai. Only these few corner units at this resort have exterior windows in the second Master bedroom and second bath and have a second Lanai. Soak in the front Master bathtub or enjoy the second Master bath shower- both while looking out over the ocean. Both showers have two shower heads, each with a separate valve control. The front master shower has a separate "rainfall" head in the ceiling. Even with all the windows, this unit is well situated to maximize privacy. 2 King beds, and 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper. Our beach is much less crowded than so many of the other west-side beaches. There's lots of sand and sun only a few feet from our building. On the south side of the beach, there is an area where we daily see and swim with turtles. We often see turtles on the beach here. In the winter months and early spring, you can watch the humpback whales putting on a wonderful display of breaching and tail slapping.
*Sands of Kahana will collect a one-time $75 resort fee is due upon check-in. The resort offers an on-site restaurant and bar overlooking the pool and hot tub, and out to the beach. There are also lighted tennis courts basketball courts and putting green. Multiple BBQ grills are on the beautiful grounds.
It's an easy one to three blocks walk to local shopping, groceries, and restaurants. STATEMENT FROM OUR OWNER: Sands of Kahana 243 is our home away from home, and we live here quite a lot throughout the year. It is well maintained. You will find it's set up with everything you need for an enjoyable stay and more! This very comfortable condo leaves lots of room to stretch out and enjoy your Maui paradise!
There are three AC systems, each with an independent thermostat, the temp setting is locked at 72 degrees. All doors, windows, and louvers to the outside must be closed for all three AC systems to be active. There is a 25-second delay before an AC system will turn off due to opening an outside door/window/louver. You can open a lanai sliding door, then close it within 25 seconds and the AC system will remain on. Once an AC system has been deactivated due to an open door/window/louver, then you must manually restart the system at the thermostat.
You can isolate any one individual area (front bedroom, back bedroom, or great room) to activate that AC system, even if the other areas are open to the outside.
Sands of Kahana 243 is professionally managed by Quam Properties Hawaii, which provides complimentary concierge services and a one-time starter supply of toiletries. One set of towels will be provided for each registered guest, ensuring a relaxing and convenient stay.
