Lovely house that's close to town with GREAT view!

A group of couples rented this house recently, and the experience was perfect! The house is beautiful, with plenty of space. The view is absolutely amazing, and at night, sitting around the firepit talking and stargazing was a real highlight. There was plenty of firewood on sight. Beds are comfy. Decor is stylish. And there's plenty of parking too. Also, the house is only five minutes to town, which is great because there is so much to do (and eat!) in town. And the property manager Janet is really great! She gets right back to you to answer any questions, and is so friendly and easy to talk to. I would (and hopefully will!) rent this house again!

First the property manager ,Janet, was fantastic from check in to check out. She responded immediately to our questions. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything. The views and fire pit are fantastic.

Epic views!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely & private home. The beds were cozy & the kitchen was well stocked. This location is a quick ride into town. We truly loved our evening fires with the best views we’ve experienced in highlands. Thank you! We will be back.

Best vistas in Highlands!

We had an incredible stay and enjoyed the breathtaking views and sunsets right from the house and the backyard. The house and kitchen were great for meals and cooking and the outdoor spaces were get for eating outside. The house has a great floor plan and was very clean! A short walk to a neighborhood waterfall and the area is quiet and super peaceful. A great location to connect to nature! Check in was very easy and professional. Janet is very welcoming, and she made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. She was very available and helpful, and kind!

Wonderful property & location; looking forward to returning

This home fits our family's needs very well. It's our second year to visit and our family wants to return again. The view is spectacular and the fire pit is in the perfect location for toasting sunsets and evenings . The house is well-equipped for meal preparation and the wifi is strong enough for doing work (if necessary). The cell phone service is not good but that's a cell provider problem, not the homeowner's. There's a huge living room fireplace and there has been plenty of firewood on our visits but a firewood vendor is nearby if more is needed. It's a toss-up each evening whether we have an outdoor fire or a big fire inside. The linens and beds in the main house are wonderful! There are great places to take walks iin the neighborhood. Highlands town center is a short drive but close enough for shopping and dining. A good grocery store and liquor store is nearby. All in all, it's a wonderful property. There was one problem though. When we arrived, we found that the apartment (not the main house) needed some attention. It seemed like it had been quite a while since anyone had stayed in it. There were spiderwebs that we cleared. Also, family members who stayed in the apartment found the cleanliness and freshness of the bed sheets to be questionable because of stains on the sheets and the wrinkles on them.

Beautiful home with great views

Had a wonderful time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful, clean & had a tremendous view. Property manager was supper helpful & easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property with one of the best views in all of the Highlands. Beautiful home. Enjoyed every meal outdoors. Fire pit is a wonderful addition. Your own private waterfall. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Beautiful setting

Six adults and one baby thoroughly enjoy this home! It was the perfect size for our group. We loved the privacy, views and fire pit that this property offered!

Family's Pre-Thanksgiving Mtn Trip

The view is perhaps the best unobstructed, multi-mtn view of any place we've ever stayed in Highlands, NC! It was a new VRBO listing yet the house was very tastefully decorated and very thoughtfully furnished and well stocked with families in mind.
