Backyard Beach with Pool

Nestled at the back of a beautiful, two-acre property, this gorgeous, large farmhouse home includes a large, private pool, and a professional-grade beach volleyball court. (Note: pool is only heated between April 1st and September 30th due to weather conditions in Atlanta during Fall/Winter/Spring). Perfect for small family gatherings. Located only a short drive from historic downtown Marietta, downtown Woodstock, and multiple parks and shopping centers. 30 minutes to downtown Atlanta and 20 minutes to Truist Park/The Battery. Large driveway with RV hookup. Pets welcome with pet fee. Optional guest house available with queen bedroom, living room with queen futon and a shared bathroom. Inquire with host about pricing. Guest house is not rented to other guests while main house is occupied.

Birthday celebration

It was An amazing weekend , wish it was warmer so I could have use to pool but it’s ok , next time. Very spacious , property manager respond time is pretty good. Highly recommend

A Decent Place for a Family Gathering

I thought a great deal about this review. I have had two VRBO properties in the past and take this process seriously. My wife and I stayed at the house for 4 weeks. I compliment the owner and his son (the property manager) for their excellent communication before and during our stay. They were outstanding. As you can tell from the photos, the property has some very unique features for a large group including a big deck, a pool and a beach volleyball court. Unfortunately, visiting Marietta in the winter, we weren't able to take advantage of these items because it was too cold to be outside during most of our stay. We did have our whole family (13 of us) at the house for a few days and it handled our group with no problem. Our kids enjoyed to pool table, dart board and piano. The dining room was large enough for all of us to sit together. Those are all of the positives.On the other hand, I read that this was the owner's former family home. The home is older and definitely shows its age. There are many places throughout that need to be repaired and painted...walls ceilings, trim. The grout in the bathrooms is old and discolored and really should be removed and replaced. The bedding was acceptable, but is all quite old and worn. We were alerted of an ant problem in the kitchen, but the ant traps that they put out, plus the steps we took to get rid of them ended up taking a couple of weeks to work. There are other issues, but I'm out of room. All in all, I give it a 7.

The home was very clean and the amenities were amazing. We had everything we needed and utilized the home to house wedding party. Also, the bridesmaids get ready for the wedding with hair and make-up specialists coming in to perform their work. Great property...

Wonderful Stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the house had everything we needed and was close to East Cobb where our boys were playing in a tournament. We really appreciated the free laundry! Will definitely look to stay here again when we come back in the future!

Backyard beach

It was really close to all the things we wanted to do . Within 15-30 mins drive. In a good area . It had all the things that they said would be available. Would have like to know that there were only a few towels so I could have brought some instead of having to buy some when we got there . But all in all it was a good stay .

East Cobb Baseball Tournament Stay

Three families (9 people) stayed here for a baseball tournament week. Location was unbeatable for games at East Cobb. Enjoyed the house being set back from the road and private. Back yard/pool is a great space. The home itself had plenty of space and met our needs. Plenty of parking as well. Will definitely keep this property in mind for future tournaments in the area.

Baseball stay oasis

Home was lovely and nestled off the road a bit for easy of not worrying about our special needs child. Lots of room inside and out. Host was super communicative and pleasant. This would definitely be our first choice again.

Great place for activities

Between the pool, pool table, dartboard, piano, and volleyball the kids always were busy. The hosts always responded immediately whenever I had a question or concern.

Loved the property! Amazing!!

We rented this property for our family and extended family who were visiting us for our wedding. We had a pre wedding ceremony and dinner party in this house. It was amazing. All our guests liked the house and we had loads of fun! Unfortunately council use the pool much since it was freezing cold outside. Would definitely love to stay here again. Lots of Space

Beautiful House, great for large gathering. We had family staying with us, and additional family in the area come for Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice large backyard. Everything was well maintained.

Perfect Family Gathering

We rented this house to spend the weekend with extended family. It was the perfect space for us to all gather for the weekend. There were plenty of large common spaces that were perfect for game nights and just gathering to visit or watch a movie together. The outdoor space was also welcoming and spacious and provided plenty of room for visits and games. The volleyball court was really fun, although I’d definitely prefer pickle ball 😁 The host was very responsive, helpful and kind.

AMAZING!!!

Both David and his son Wes were wonderful! They were responsive, kind, and patient with my many questions. The house was gorgeous and the pool was amazing. My sister plans to host something at the house because it was such a lovely experience. The beds were also comfortable!!

Amazing house for active families

The house and host are amazing! The space is perfect for people of all ages with the pool, volleyball, pool table and large living room for families to congregate. The large kitchen made it feel like home and easy to feed everyone after a hot day at the field. We loved how nice and cool the house was kept and the ceiling fans in all rooms. The three master suite set ups were heavenly for privacy. The distance to Lakepoint is perfect! We all agree we will stay in this house again in a heartbeat!!! The owners were so responsive to any little concern and took care of everything we needed! We HIGHLY recommend this to all groups!

Great Place to stay with a large group

We were in town for 8days for PG WWBA Tournament. We had a total of 5 adults with 4 17yr old boys. We cooked just about every meal at home. Lots of space for everyone , plenty of privacy when you needed it, great outdoor space to sit by fire pit, play beach volleyball and swim in the pool...Would absolutely stay here again next time in Atlanta area...The place is less than 2miles from East Cobb complex, and other fields were typically 30-45mins away.

We decided to make this home available for weekly rental so that others can enjoy it the way we have for so long. This property is incredibly unique. The front yard is set far back from the road and looks like a scene from Callaway Gardens while the back yard is like Pensacola Beach with a large swimming pool and beach volleyball court. Situated on more than two acres and centrally located, you will be minutes from all the modern conveniences like grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc and a short drive away from major attractions like Lakepoint Sports Complex, Braves baseball, Falcons football, mountain hiking, and much more.

Our home is large, private, beautiful and perfect for family gatherings. You will have the entire home to yourself as we do not rent to multiple groups for any stay duration. This is not an event venue, but you are welcome to host a small gathering of local family. Because we welcome pets on the main level, you may smell the odor from the previous guest's pets. Please clean up after your pet to ensure a great experience for those staying in our home after you. Guests will have access to entire home. Note: One additional bedroom and bathroom available for rent if needed (otherwise it is locked off). Please inquire about pricing as it varies depending on the season.
