Historic home with a newly remodeled apartment situated on 25 acres with walking trails. We have Donkeys, Mini Donkeys, Goats, Chickens, and a pig named Ms.Piggy. You are able to feed and pet the animals.
Gas. Post Office. Tops Supermarket. Salvatores and Mark’s Pizzeria within walking distance.

Scam. Do not book. Not as advertised. No communication from host. Sketchy property with no trespassing signs. Several units in the same house with no signage to indicate where the rental is. There was no way to check in and we were stranded with no place to stay in a small town.

Double Booked didn't get to stay

So I never got check in details, messaged the host several hours before check in. Didn't hear anything. Showed up after check in time no one on the property. Called the host several times, no answer and voice mail was full. As I was walking the property another family showed up they had checked in the day before. While getting on the phone with vrbo the owner showed up and discovered that he had double booked. I am still waiting on his cancellation of my reservation and the return of my money from vrbo. I have an open case with vrbo but it has been a week since our original reservation was to start. Owner did try to put us into one of his other "rooms" but they were not close to what we had originally booked. One was basically a bed in a kitchen, the shower was actually in the kitchen next to the Fridge, wasn't going to work for 3 people. The other option was a duplex across the street that was filthy, and while they offered to clean it, there was no way it would be clean enough to have a 3 year old stay in, unless they spent 4 or 5 hours doing a lot of hard work. The premise is interesting with kids to stay on a goat farm and all that, but I would think twice before booking, and triple check check in details well in advance. Vrbo was unable to re-book us somewhere else and we had a devil of a time finding a hotel on a Saturday night as most hotels were booked solid. Finally found a very sketch place Econlodge room some 30 mins away, but at least it was a roof over our heads. My opinion is stay away from this until the host is able to really get everything properly set up and clean.
