The Space:
As you enter the front door, there a large open floor with dining and living area, with cupboards for storage. There is also one bedroom and a bathroom on this side. The other half of the space is secluded from this area and it includes a master bedroom another bedroom and a large bathroom with tiled shower. The space is end capped with a cozy kitchen including full amenities and a large pantry. The other end is the laundry room with more cupboards for storage.

Guest Access:
The Left Side of the driveway is your parking area, there is also plentiful free street parking. You walk down the side of the house to a white vinyl gate, behind that gate is wooden walkway that leads to wide stairs that go to the basement door and your apartment.

Other things to note:
The main floor is also rented out on vrbo. Basement and main floor are completely separated.

Great basement stay

Clean and spacious for some guys for a ski trip. Nothing fancy. But very comfortable beds and big enough to hang at night while skiing during the day.

Good location to mountains with somethings to consider

My brother and I stayed 4 days in the area to hit 3 of the local ski mountains. This place is pretty close to the mountains (30min) and lots of places within 5miles to eat. Place was a little dated but clean and property manger/owner is very responsive. I gave the place three stars as there were some negatives to be aware of. This rental is in the basement of a residential house and the upstairs tenants are likely longer term residents so know the following 1. We were never able to park in the driveway or in front of the house as there were sometimes 6-7 cars parked. 2. The floors are not soundproofed or insulated so you will hear footsteps ALL the time. 3. There is only one heater/air conditioner for the house and it is controlled by the upstairs tenants. Overall our experience was good but I would likely not stay in this place our another basement unit again.

Hello John, I wish you would have let us know that someone parked in your spot I would have addressed that issue. There are two designated spots in the driveway for the basement apartment only. It is clear in the listing that this is a basement apartment and naturally there is some sound at normal times (work in the morning coming home in afternoon) but not at night. Glad that your stay was good overall.

great place

Really good place to stay, close to mountains. Only one block from huge city park. (10 mile hike and and only crossed road couple of times) Lots of room, Not quite as bright inside as pictures show.

Nice short term stay

Spacious bedrooms, living room and dining room. Kitchen is tight but very doable for a week long stay.

Good ski base

This was a great place to use as base for our ski adventures. The location is very convenient (although school day traffic is an issue getting out of the driveway). The kitchen was reasonably well set up, and the living room is comfortable. Each individual room was nice and comfortable. Overall, a good place to stay when we were active most of the day.
