A relaxing and peaceful guest house perfect for visiting family / attending events in the area, sight-seeing, nature lovers, or just passing through. Enjoy the rear window sunrise AND the spectacular sunset out front! 900 square foot, stand alone, newly renovated, open concept space with 2 bedrooms and a bath. We live on the property in a separate house. We share the driveway, pool, and yard (we take our two dogs outside several times a day). We’re always available via text, phone, email, and the Vrbo app.

Quiet Cottage

This cottage is very lovely. Clean and so quiet. The setting is beautiful. Host provides so many things. I just had to bring my clothes, makeup and hairbrush. She provided all the rest. This is my 3rd time back. I will go back again. Host was very responsive when an issue came up. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Perfect get-away!

This was our first experience with Vrbo, and we couldn't be more pleased! Our hosts had so many thoughtful touches in our guest house, and they were very friendly and helpful. We hope we can return next year!

Browning Family stay

This was the perfect location to get away from it all but still have the luxury of great amenities nearby. Beautiful property and view, home was cozy and comfortable, well appointed, and perfect for a family of 4.

Great stay!

Very nice house in a very serene setting. Modern and cozy. Very good location and close to shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive and got back to us very quickly with any message we sent. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Peace and quiet

This is a lovely house, cozy and comfortable with a wonderful host. Beautiful views highlight the property. Easy access to local venues, great eateries abound. I think anyone would enjoy their stay here.

The property is a great little getaway. It's quiet, with a gorgeous view of farmlands and the river. The cottage is tastefully decorated with thoughtful amenities throughout. The yard and pool is shared with the owners, who may be out with their unleashed, friendly dogs. Overall, it was lovely and we hope to visit again.

Beautiful retreat

We would happily return! What a beautiful, well kept and well stocked place. Diana was a delight and met us when we arrived. We watched a gorgeous sunset over the water from the dining table and enjoyed ourselves greatly. Thanks so much!!

Cozy Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. It was well equipped with essentials and Dee was quick to respond if we had questions. Other than having to wait to check in because it was not ready, we had no problems and felt welcomed and quite comfortable. Planning to return soon!

Peaceful weekend

What a lovely place! Nice and clean. Quiet and restful. Pool was perfect. No other guests. It was like a lovely oasis. Hosts were great too. I’ll go back next year. Can’t wait!

Overnight for Wedding

This was a lovely property with plenty of amenities for a longer stay. It was clean and had plenty of room for our party. We had a last minute addition and it worked out perfectly. Only wish the listing didn't say Owings in the address because we thought we were closer to the event we were attending. The extra 10 min. didn't hurt. I would recommend this quiet, pretty location.

It was a pleasant nice environment in surroundings. The house is very nice, cute & clean. However, it is very uncomfortable, seems like someone is watching us every time we come in & out of the house. Not a good thing.

Great Vacation Base

We used this wonderful cottage as our vacation base to explore DC from. While we did have a daily commute into the city, it was worth it to have the amenities of home when we got back. Set in a beautiful rural area, the cottage is quiet and offers access to a personal pool which my children loved. In addition, the host was very friendly and helpful and chatted with us a few times. She had tons of extras left out around the cottage to make it warm and inviting. If we choose to head back to Maryland this would easily be my first choice to book again.
