The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. All the rooms were clean and picture perfect. Of course the host was fantastic! Whenever I sent her a message she replied immediately. We have celebrated our family Christmas there 2 years in a row. The greatest thing was that it was decorated for Christmas both times. I would highly recommend this scenic farmhouse.

Great place, Highly recommend !!

Great place, a lot of room and an excellent view for fall leaves changing colors. My family loved the burn pit in the back yard and could NOT get over how beautiful and clear the night skies were. There are trails that my family took nearby and were in awe all the natural beauty. Cost is well the stay!

Brothers ice fishing weekend

Property was just like it said. Very clean. Very roomy. Easy to check in and Property owner let us check in a little early. We liked the property because it was in the country and away for others. Would definitely stay again.

Wedding party

We stayed at this country farm home for a family wedding at Stoney Hill. The home was the perfect place to spend time with my large family. We took walks in the woods, enjoyed the top of the silo and the fire pit out back.

This was our second stay at the farm to host extended family Christmas. We (again) found the home very comfortable and clean and fully outfitted for everything we needed. It is like stepping into a relative's home, everything you need is there. They also had brand new furniture in the living room and a new range. One of our favorite things is how nicely they have the home decorated for Christmas - a tree, decor everywhere, and even a large set of holiday plates, bowls, glasses and mugs. It was easy to step in and host Christmas here! We also enjoyed the walk on the trails, and the friendly cows that walked along side of us (on the other side of an electric fence). Our dog loved it so much here that she didn't want to leave :)

Another great stay!

This was the second time at this property in the past five months and they once again did not disappoint. We had a 92nd birthday get together for our father and had all of his siblings in attendance. There was enough room and plenty of supplies to accommodate our whole group. PLUS, the owners were more than responsive to any needs/issues we had. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place that can handle a larger crowd and privacy!

International Marriage Conference Zoom site

We needed a space where a group of board members and volunteers could participate in a weekend international conference online together. This property offered excellent internet connectivity with several big screen TVs for breakout sessions and a wonderful space for group discussions, games and meals. Plus when there was a chance to get outdoors, the trail to the river was a nice walk, and if it hadn’t rained the campfire ring would have been great too. The hosts were wonderful. All in all we couldn’t have found a better place to be.

Great Property!

The property owner was willing to answer all of our check in questions and went above and beyond. Jackie also brought us a bunch of eggs! The house was very roomy for all of us. The kitchen and house had everything we needed, and if it didn't, it was delivered to us to use. There were trails behind the house that we would walk on almost every day. It was very peaceful sitting out on the deck or around the campfire - which the owners provided wood to burn and chairs to sit on. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect for larger groups!

We had 8 people sleeping there and were very comfortable. The location is remote but beautiful! In addition to the 8, we hosted a dinner for a total of 12 people and had our family Christmas there and had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, plates and glasses (enough for close to 20 people so don't bring any additional). The coffee bar was a bonus! The only negative was the pictures showed a fire place, but we could not use it. I highly recommend, especially for larger groups.

Wonderful property!

This is such a lovely place to stay! It was clean, decorated beautifully, and had all the things we needed. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not annoying each other. We did spend the extra money to utilize the silo gazebo, and it had a great view. Very creative! The trails are a nice addition and we wandered down to walk by the river several times. As an allergy family we really appreciated having a dishwasher and cooking gear available. Just be sure to read the provided binder for information on how to use the oven. The host was very responsive and considerate, thank you very much!

Work Event

The house was great for a larger group. The owner of property was incredibly helpful when there was a slight delay in getting the check in code & even brought us fresh eggs. House was spacious for 8 adults to all have their own beds. We missed that the larger bedroom with the extra beds and 3rd bathroom was an additional cost but again the owner of the property was quick to help us get that sorted out and very helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, went on a great leisurely walk in the trails, a bonfire out back, the spacious kitchen. There is even a great welcoming basket for extra added touch. Everyone said they would enjoy returning to this rental.

The pictures don't do this justice!

We stayed here for a weekend family holiday gathering. Only 4 of us spent the night, but we had a total of 13 people for a meal and social time. The home was spacious and perfect for our group. There was plenty of seating for all in the dining area - and also in the living room. The kitchen had everything you could need for a large meal - so many plates, silverware, crock pots, serving spoons, etc. We enjoyed the walk down to the river and in the woods and appreciated seeing the farm. The home is quite remote - nights were quiet and the star gazing was amazing! The host was extremely responsive when I reached out with a couple questions. The home was very comfortable, and many furniture items have been updated (improved!) since photos were taken. Normally listings make a house look better than it is, this house is better than the photos! We hope to come again for future family events in the area.

Charming Country Home

Our family (all 17 of us) stayed here for 3 nights. The house is super clean, has so many homey touches, and the living room was big enough for all of us to play charades. The beds are so comfortable, we had to check the brand name of the mattresses. We hiked some of the trails and that was fun. The host was super responsive and gave us a tour of their dairy farm even though they had a busy weekend. There is a renter in a stone house on the property that you need to be considerate of. We parked 5 cars without a problem. We brought a blow up pool and slip and slide for the kids. There is a nice fire pit area and a wood shed with a lot of wood. The upper deck off the dining area is large and overlooks the country side. There is a large dormitory type bedroom in the basement and two other bedrooms plus 2 bathrooms. The two set of bedrooms are divided by a garage but that was no problem. Upstairs is a HUGE bedroom with a bathroom and another bedroom. The kitchen is so well stocked - they have everything there for your use. They even have a coffee bar with a variety of coffees and 2 types of coffee makers. They also supply games in a neat, organized cupboard. As you can probably tell, we really enjoyed our stay here:)

Grandsons Wedding

My grandson got married in Cadott since we live in the Milwaukee area our family rented the house for 3 nights to be close to the wedding venue. The property was wonderful. The house was definitely large enough for our family gathering. Bedrooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Enough bathrooms for the 10 of us to get ready in the mornings and also to freshen up again for the wedding. Enough bath linens and of nice size. It has a large kitchen area and kitchen supplies and utensils. Which made it nice for several cooks to prepare meals. We also used the grill that was provided. One bonus was the wonderful coffee bar. That was unexpected. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided. Lovely outside surroundings. Took a couple walks . Beautiful view from the deck. Some family members were here from Calif. so their first time experiencing the fall season. We all wished we could stay a few more days. I don’t think there will be a time that we will be in that area again. But if so we would definitely look into staying there again. The Host/Owner was always available to answer questions. And very quickly. The check in time was 4:00. She so kindly messaged us and informed us if we would like to check in early it would be ready at 12:00. That was very nice. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

We are a family that has owned and operated a dairy farm in the area for over 100 years. We are so excited to share our property that gives us so much joy. This area is so beautiful and we are happy to share that with others. Please take a moment to appreciate the stunning views and walk through the trails to see the Yellow River.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The opportunity came up to purchase this property from close friends and to keep it in the wonderful condition it is in. We are able to keep animals on the farm and to share our joy with other large groups of people.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The bunk room allows for large groups to stay and enjoy time together. The large living room and dining room also allow for endless quality time. From every corner of the house you can see an incredible view overlooking the whole farm. There is a renovated gazebo on top of the silo that is available for an added charge that is a great spot to start the day with a cup of coffee or watch the sunset with some wine.
