Adorable 2 bedroom/1 bath Acadian cottage nestled underneath an incredible historic oak tree. Located at the rear of a beachfront home with private parking and a fenced in yard. The home is beautifully furnished and very comfortable (see reviews). Enjoy your coffee or cocktail sitting on the front porch with wonderful views of the bay. Ideal for walking/cycling to the beach and/or to Old Town, Churches and the Depot area. Pets subject to approval.

We loved the cottage, and we enjoyed meeting the host. We had our morning coffee on the front porch while we enjoyed the view of the water. The fenced yard was a nice bonus for our pup, so he could explore off leash. We would definitely stay again!

The view of the bay is nice & relaxing from the front porch. The cottage is as described and sits behind the main house which was not bothersome at all. There is a picket fence that separates the 2 dwellings with a view of the main house pool & back yard. Proximity to the beach is a short walk or ride away. There is parking at the beach area. Golf cart recommended to easily get around town and to explore this quaint bay side town. Rented cart from Quality Custom Carts 228-344-3301, Barbara or Brett will take good care of you. We traveled by train & they delivered cart to the station & we dropped off there too.

This was our third consecutive vacation here and it will not be our last! Alex is a wonderful host and the house and location are so comfortable and convenient. The beach is steps away and restaurants are a short walk. Our dog loved the yard and we loved the porch. Absolutely perfect.

Beautiful property in an amazing location just steps to the beach. Also walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants! Great amenities including AC that works well, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, comfy living room full of books and games, and beautiful front porch perfect for sitting.

The location was perfect for our restful and peace-filled weekend. The house feels like a"home". BSL is ideal for a low-key getaway. The yard worked wonderfully for our pet; he napped on the porch and chased squirrels in the yard and trees. The morning sunrises were beautiful from the front porch and beachside.
